Great place to establish your fitness routine. Clean facility with all the equipment you need and then some. Friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Fun and helpful class instructors. Best gym our family has ever joined. And we actually go, probably because it’s such a pleasant place to be.
Nice perk is excellent wi-fi and individual TVs on some of the cardio equipment so you can pick your channel and listen with headphones. Shoutout to JoJo and staff for making this a place where our family can boost our health!

Great gym! Always go here when visiting my in laws, it has everything you need including machines and free weights. It has plenty of space but it is not too big and not crowded. Always get a great work out here.

Thanks for the free 3-day pass. Place has plenty of options for everyone, different Hammer Strength for chest, back and legs, squat rack, dumbbells that go up into the heavy range, cardio machines, locker/shower etc.

I went for the Saturday morning yoga class. Very relaxing as the instructor talked us through Yin yoga. A very gentle stretching yoga.

Alachua Health &Fitness is managed far better than any gym other than my own. For me, cleanliness and availability of equipment are paramount. The staff is always ready to help you get the most from your workout. Be sure to schedule a massage at the chiropractors office and take a steam when you're done to make your day complete.

Well good morning to all.... Today is a beautiful Saturday morning and I got up early motivated to work out with my new membership and yet the gym says open at 8am and the doors are still locked. I waited an 1 hour 1/2 before someone came to open up around 9:15am. I'd rather pay 10 dollars more and go to another gym knowing that I can workout around my schedule guaranteed!!! Keyless entry would be great ....I'm very very disappointed, if I could give it a 0 star I would. Several people have came this morning and have stated this isn't the first time they have came when the gym that is supposed to be open and yet have it has been closed. I can't do this. They need to hire older people who is serious about working and helping people not kids!!! I will be looking for another gym really soon!! Getting this contract was a waste of my time. Other than that the one time I did visit it was quiet,clean,but no lockers,showers etc just has a bathroom and changing area which is okay I could have work with that. I was just really looking forward to using my new membership now. I've waisted half my morning that was mommy time. I will be canceling my membership!! Only had my membership 4 days and I dont feel comfortable at all not knowing that the staff will be reliable😟

I had previously ran into an issue here not long ago and to be honest was not happy. However that's not why I'm writing this review. I had an issue and Dr. Powell reached out to me to make things right. He even went out of his way to leave his personal number so he could help get things situated. I had a wonderful conversation and was able to make the situation right. This is a place that sincerely cares about their members and will do all they can to show it!

This is the'go to' gym in our small town for sure. Classes are good tho you wish they could offer more/different times. Equipment is getting worn and should really be replaced as needed. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. They are happy to work with you and show you proper techniques.
