I came to Jeremy initially because I feel I was lack of energy, very easy to get tired and never really recovered from my pregnancies. I have been training with Jeremy for about three months. Now I am more energetic during the day, which leads to more patience with my kids (I am a working mom with two young kids), and I feel good about myself. I would recommend Jeremy to anyone who wants a change. It’s a hard journey for someone like me who is always shy to walk into a gym, but the results will worth it.

Jeremy designs a program for the individual, as opposed to the more common “cookie cutter” approach to personal training. He LISTENS to the client and implements a program with the clients current capabilities/ limitations as a baseline, while always pointing toward the clients goals and aspirations. I’ve known Jeremy for a year or so now. After getting to know him more and watching him train his clients/athletes, I reached out to him about working with him.

I've been with Jeremy for about 6 months coming 2-3 times a week and he's been great. I came into the gym as someone knowing very little and now feel comfortable walking into any gym.

1. Instructive: Jeremy took me from not knowing what to do when I step into a gym into knowing which barbell, free weight, and machine exercises should be paired for an efficient workout.

2. Patient and flexible: Jeremy's custom plan adapts to both scheduling needs and to different body needs. Some of my personal issues with back pain from before I started were carefully planned around so that I could still lift while ensuring I didn't aggravate any previously existing injury. Overtime I was able to increase workload because of this patience.

3. Friendly: Jeremy treats me like a friend and takes the time to learn about me so that the gym experience isn't just about lifting weights but also a positive atmosphere.

4. Objective: Jeremy's plan tracks both historical lifting progress but also body indicators which he then plans around to make sure progress is made. Because of these measurements he also makes specific nutrition goals to hit to further aid in hitting objective goals.

I am the least likely person you might find at the gym, but I was unhappy with how I looked and felt. I have been training with Jeremy for 5 months and I love it! Of course, I love seeing results, but I also love how strong I am, and how I can learn new and hard things. I am more confident in every area of my life now. Jeremy is kind and understanding- if you even have a tiny niggling feeling in the back of your mind that you might want to try this- do it! There’s no magic sauce, but having a partner to train you, be waiting for you (so you show up!), cheer for you, and understand your fears changes everything!

Working with Jeremy to achieve my health and weight goals was the best "gym" experience I've ever had. He structured a personal workout plan that fit into my busy schedule. Jeremy is an excellent trainer and truly invests himself in coaching/mentoring my nephew grow by raising his limits and challenging him twice a week at The Gym Jax facility. He created interesting workouts tailored to his fitness goals that allowed him to improve his upper body strength, flexibility and balance. My son has been working with Coach McCann for three years. We were so impressed that my husband and I signed up with him and stayed for six months until COVID shut things down. I hadn't worked out with a trainer in over 15 years and had going to the gym off on on without any specific focus or regimen since then. I started working out with Jeremy a year ago with focus on building strength, maintaining joint mobility, and avoiding any further injury. He is extremely knowledgable about sports physiology and kinesiology and focuses a lot on proper mechanics of exercise. He's great at showing you how even just small adjustments at what you're doing can improve your workout. HIs sessions are self-paced. You can train for as long or as little as you want--sessions aren't based on time, and even though he will plan out a work-out for you, it can be easily adjusted to suit what you're able and up to doing that day. Everyone who trains with him is very supportive of one another and the atmosphere is super relaxed and friendly. Couldn't recommend more highly!

I learned so much while training with Jeremy! He used tools like a velocity meter to measure progress gaining speed and explosiveness in lifts and a body comp analyzer that shows how much muscle you've gained, which I loved because I'm a data nerd and helps to focus on something other than just weight. I've always been in sports and was a college athlete, but I joined Jeremy's InBody challenge with multiple injuries and not really enjoying the gym anymore. He helped me overcome fears of lifting heavy and be able to progress towards performance goals again. He also always checked in and tweaked programming to make sure it was optimal and fit my schedule. Training with Jeremy is awesome!! I really love how he is able to make plans specific to a person based on their current numbers. He has equipment that measures body composition and others that show how hard you’re working, which takes away all the guessing. Having that quantifiable data helps him with what he thinks needs to be tweaked to help you progress.
You can tell he really cares about his clients and takes the time to get to really know you and introduce you to others he trains. He just creates a really supportive, family-like atmosphere which makes going to the gym a lot more enjoyable.
