Hiring Ken as my personal trainer has been life changing. His facility is welcoming to all body types and is clean everytime I walk into the building. I first started with Ken after my father passed away in 2021 and he truly helped me on my journey to keep my mind busy on healthy habits as well as building muscle along the way for nearly 2 years.
I recently started taking sessions again this year (2025). Ken listens to my fitness goals and creates a one-of-a-kind workout every session. He encourages me to do the excercies correctly and pays attention to what my body can handle while also pushing me out of my comfort zone.
Thank you Ken for providing a service that goes above and beyond a regular neighborhood gym. Your help and attention to detail keeps me motivated because I struggle to work out on my own. I can see and feel my body changing after just a few sessions back in your gym. One session at a time!

When I started working with Ken, I was 185 pounds. In a year's time, my weight got down to 166. All I had to do was train and follow a good nutrition plan. If you stay consistent and keep a healthy diet, you will see excellent results.
If your goal is to lose fat and gain muscle, Ken is definitely the right choice.

Today my son completed his 2nd attempt at the CPAT physical agility for firefighting. The first time he went through it he wasn’t able to complete it, but after 45 days of training at Ken’s Fitness & Nutrition Studio Ken had my son capable and in position to accomplish his goal. Ken has helped me lose 61ibs so far! He’s great at what he does! He holds me accountable especially the time I really don’t want to come in! Great trainer! I went in looking to get fit and pass my military fitness test and Ken helped me do just that. I started going to his gym a couple weeks before taking my test and ended up failing the first time around. The second time around that I took it, literally weeks later, I was able to pass thanks to Ken. He focused on the material I needed to improve on and really pushed me to do better.
If you’re looking to get pushed and see how far you can go and get results, I 100% recommend this Ken as you’re trainer.

Started with Ken with the goal of toning up and shedding a few pounds, I can say we have met and exceeded those goals. Started out at 214 lbs and now I'm at 193 lbs. Thanks to Ken for pushing me to achieve incredible results. Ken kept me interested and motivated and I love the improvement in my body. He put together a training program to help achieve great results. Didn't really know what I was doing in the gym, but under Ken's guidance I have succeeded more than I ever could hope. Working out has become much more fun now that I actually know what I'm doing. I’m not sure about the other experiences but I can only speak about mines. Ken is nice and polite on the phone but his customer service and attitude is less than desirable. He did not give me the one free lesson advertised on his website. He has an attitude and he uninspirational and acts like he is doing you a favor. He spent the majority of his training on his phone texting and seemingly uninterested. Needless to say I won’t be returning . I found someone else it is a little more expensive but if you want quality then sometimes you have to sacrifice.

I often refer to the time in my life when I was under 200 pounds as my GOLDEN DAYS. After dealing with depression and other health issues the weight came on rapidly. Going to Ken's Fitness and Nutrition has been a life changing experience. I was in a really bad car accident in 2013. I had a broken leg, my knee was shattered, and I was told I might not walk again. I had three surgeries and went to physical therapy for 2 months. I went from being in a wheel chair, to crutches, to learning how to walk again. When I walked it was with a limp; after many years I accepted the fact that I would always walk with a limp. In May 2018, I decided to give Ken's Fitness and Nutrition a try to lose weight. Not only have I lost over 20 pounds but in less than two months I was walking without a limp. My family saw my progress and the great work Ken had done and many of them decided to train with him also. My children, my mom, my sisters and even cousins train with him. If you are looking for results and a lifestyle change, Ken's Fitness and Nutrition is definitely the place. Best trainer ever. His prices are the best in Jacksonville and he is passionate about what he does.

Ken had been my trainer now for 3 months and although I'm not always a consistent trainee he is always consistent. He is positive about my able to work harder even when I don't believe it. He is motivation to show up to a training session and give it everything I got. I use to be that person who yo-yo diet; I would go to the gym off and on then quit. Ken puts the "personal" in personal trainer. I've been going to Ken's Fitness & Nutrition Center for about 30 days now and I've gained 6 pounds in muscle.
