By far one of the best gyms in the state! If you’re like me and prefer a gym with grit, grind and no place for shine, this is it! Some of the best old school iron and equipment I’ve had the pleasure to train on.

Check out the Vert Squat!! It was used by the godfather himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Honestly reading the reviews on here I was a bit nervous. I like what I read here the owner was kind polite genuine and ready to help in any way he could. I will never come to the gym again. I was looking for a place to work out when I found Kissimmee Muscle gym. I purchased a week pass to cover my vacation time. This gym is extremely unwelcoming. I was harassed and profiled. It is very sad as I was only looking for a safe place work on my fitness.

All of the equipment in this gym is incredible. If you know anything about lifting weights you will you appreciate everything in here, old school EFFECTIVE chain driven equipment and high end modern stuff that is actually made properly that hits the muscle not the joints. bilateral leg press, donkey calf, killer delt machines, the best lat pulldown I've used in my life, etc. I felt very at home here.

Pagué un pase diario ya que me encontraba de vacaciones en la zona. Es un gimnasio muy completo. Cuenta con todas las maquinas necesarias para un entrenamiento de calidad, incluso tiene algunas muy antiguas que ya no se fabrican y es muy difícil de encontrar incluso en Estados Unidos Unidos como las nautilus. Cuenta con mancuernas hasta 200 libras. Tiene estacionamiento gratis y lo mejor es que nunca está lleno de gente. La atmósfera es genial si eres un apasionado por el fisicoculturismo y sabes entrenar y valorar el equipamiento de calidad.
El dueño y su esposa fueron muy amables conmigo en todo momento. Nunca me sentí discriminado por mi nacionalidad o por mi físico.
Cabe mencionar que el gimnasio tiene una estricta política de no grabar ni utilizar trípode. Le pregunté al dueño si podía utilizar uno pequeño y amablemente me dijo que no, que uno va a entrenar y a trabajar duro, comentario que me tomé muy bien ya que la mayoría ahora va a crear contenido mas que entrenar. Me comentó que si necesitaba hacer un pequeño video para el entrenador o algo así se entiende, pero ya hacer del gym un estudio de grabación no es posible.
Si visito la zona definitivamente iré a entrenar de nuevo.

I had a very disappointing experience at Kissimmee Muscle Gym. The owner was extremely insolent and unprofessional, making the process of closing out my contract unnecessarily difficult. They are not practicing good business by failing to honor my request, which shows a lack of integrity and respect for their customers.

The owner is very cocky and gives off a “tough persona,” seemingly trying to intimidate people—but he’s not putting fear in anyone. If you need to deal with someone, I recommend speaking with his wife, as she seems more fair and reasonable. Jothan himself gives off serious SWS vibes—buyer beware.

That being said, if you're into old-school-style training, the gym does have good machines. Just be prepared to deal with the attitude.

Great gym. Hammer strength plate loaded equipment is top tier stuff. Life fitness machines are great. Powerlifting equipment great as well with the Mono and different bars. Steep day price, but the ease of access and quality of REAL lifting equipment make up for it.

No cell phone policy is an interesting take. Personally like it, but most of my workouts are sent to me via Doc on my phone. Dunno how they’d feel about someone looking at their phone to see what exercise they have to do next. I get the point of not trying to have people on their phones and hog machines.

As for the issues with management I see on other reviews, I’ve been on both sides. Best friend owns a gym similar up north and seen many cases with him of poor customer behavior or just not fitting into the environment. Places like these aren’t for everyone. If you’re not serious about lifting or don’t know what you’re doing, maybe stick to LA fitness next time you’re in Orlando for vacation.

If I’m back in town, you bet it’ll be at Kissimmee Muscle Gym.

Decent OLD SCHOOL style gym, only complaint is the lack of air flow. This place is for those who appreciate golden era bodybuilding and older equipment. Enjoyed my visit/workout. $30 for the day pass, which honestly is a bit pricey. Being there is little to no profit in mom & pop gyms. I don't mind paying to keep these type of places in business!

Came here with some friends as we were visiting from Texas. The woman at the front desk was super friendly but the man was disrespectful and unwelcoming. At the end of my workout I ordered food and asked him if he wanted me to wait outside for it and he just goes “that’s exceedingly weird who orders food to a gym” and proceeded to mock me when I answered and finally chose to disengage. Excellent gym with everything that a hardcore to a novice lifter needs. All equipment is very well maintained and moves very well, floors are clean, bathroom was also clean. The gym is a bit pricey (one day was $30) but for what you get it is well worth it. They even have post workout meals to buy and a limited selection of protein drinks to purchase. There is a strongman section in the back and soft turf as well. Highly recommend going.

OMG! This is the most incredible gym I have EVER trained at. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the variety of equipment/machines are insanely good and the general vibe (especially in the back workout area) is unrivalled!

Trained there for a month whilst on vacation and feel like I spent more time at Kissimmee Muscle than at Disney.

Sometimes I would dream of what equipment I would use the next day and then not be able to sleep so headed down there at 4am to try it out.

Start to finish: AMAZINGGGGG workout and experience overall!!! The instant access 24/7 online sign-up is such a GENIUS concept and helped set the tone for what ended up being a very memorable one-of-a-kind experience that I will always have to look back on. That being said, when it comes to future first-time visitors, PLEASE bear in mind that there is a lot of history and passion within these walls that yields a culture and environment deeply rooted and based on discipline, hard work, dedication, and getting the most mileage out of your workout. In other words, come in ready to work from the get-go, and as long as you're doing what you're supposed to be doing and adhering to the policies outlined in the instant access 24/7, you'll be primed to have one of the most memorable workouts ever! (The best analogy I can provide: think of Kissimmee Muscle Gym as a library, when you take a book off the shelf in the library, you put it back where you found it once you're done reading it. The same principle applies at this establishment -- once you're done using the weight/weights, put them back exactly where you found them and there will be no issues).

Before my visit, I watched a good bit of Kissimmee Muscle's content on YouTube and Instagram which helped paint the picture in getting familiar with the floor layout and equipment and would highly encourage anyone thinking about visiting to do the same. HUGE bonus points as well for playing "Winner Takes It All" by Sammy Hagar as part of the floor playlist -- one of my all-time favorite gym songs!

Along with the mission of visiting Kissimmee Muscle Gym for a memorable workout, I was also on the hunt for some specific pieces of merchandise I saw online via their website. Looking around in the pro shop area I was greeted by Zara who was FANTASTIC and with no hesitation asked me how my workout was and proceeded to walk me through a timeline of the rich history of some of the famous names and productions (such as American Gladiators) that have worked out within their walls. Shortly after that, I had the opportunity to meet the Faceman, Frontman, Man about town himself, Jonathan McGrael which definitely put the stamp on what was such a positive and memorable experience. The time that Jonathan and Zara take to get to know their travelers and where they are visiting from as well as just interacting with their clientele on a human level really won me over as a future repeat traveling member.

Jonathan and Zara: Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you do in providing Central Florida a Grade-A destination to train! I wish you all the best and I will definitely be back!!!!!

Visiting the Kissimmee Muscle Gym was a bucket list item for me. I drove down from Atlanta to go through their DY HIT Personal Trainers Cert. Course. I went back home feeling like I found my Tribe. Jonathan, Zara, and Mary made me feel like family and helped me accomplish a huge goal of mine. Wonderful people, wonderful establishment. Ease of access, fantastic equipment, and a community of respect built on our love of iron. Republican, Democract, white black, gay straight....doesn't matter...all are welcome with a shared love of the iron. It was refreshing and encouraging. By the time I left, I immediately missed my fellow tribe members. I can't wait to come back to Orlando so I can train with my people again. Couldn't recommend more...

Es gibt hier viele gute Maschinen die es so teilweise wirklich nur selten in Gyms gibt.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This gym is horrible. The owner came in the gym and went directly to us YELLING over a simple misunderstanding. We got to the door early morning and it was locked. A lady came out and told us we have to scan a barcode on the wall and the owner should be here soon. I tried to put my info in after scanning the barcode but had some issues with it. So we walked in when someone was walking out and were planning to pay when someone came. During our workout, the owner came up to us SCREAMING, calling us thugs and said we’re stealing from him and he called the police. We were calm the entire time and wasn’t acting out of character. We just wanted to get a genuine workout in and we told him it’s not that serious we can pay, even extra. He continued yelling at us and was acting racist. So we decided to wait outside for the police to explain what occurred and everything turned out okay. After the police came then he decided to act all innocent and nice.

I will give you my fullest and honest review about this man and his gym.
The gym is fantastic! Couldn’t been better, machines and equipment are awesome 10/10. But the owner of this gym, Jonathan Napoleon faceman. Lets his insecurities out on you. This is the results of years of steroid use ( won’t even go in the facts that he offered me and my friends steroids after just one week of going to the gym)
If you don’t give him validation he will let you know that in form of him mistreating you and abusing you verbally and if you say something about that he’ll cancel your subscription. He’s a small minded , insecure and hating little man and I really hope that people think twice before going there.

TERRIBLE OWNERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a former pro baseball player and certified trainer and I make content for social media to help educate the athletes I train, I do not make my career from social media. I frequently travel and do gym reviews and like to reach the gym beforehand to see if they’re cool with it, I know some don’t like filming or have certain filming hours. I pay for the guest passes and truly am just a gym enthusiast. I reached out and He sent me the information which was much appreciated then deleted it and sent back the rudest response I have ever received. I leave positive honest reviews on my instagram and if it’s not positive I don’t need to post negativity and kill a small business. Wish I could put zero starts, gym owner is awful, demeaning, and so rude. The only reason I continued coming back for my pre paid membership was the lady at the front desk (pink hair). One of the nicest people ever. Aside from her this gym has awful ownership and no one should be treated the way he treats people. NEVER GO TO THIS GYM! Take your money, time, and work ethic to a gym that will actually make you feel welcome and you will enjoy. The owner of this gym in multiple occasions was racist towards others, treated people terribly by yelling in their faces (including mine), and telling people how dumb they are for the decisions they would make inside the gym. First day here but this gym is INCREDIBLE. Flexible plans no matter what your requirement. THE MOST WEIGHTLIFTING EQUIPMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN! They don't slouch in the cardio department either! I am staying in a local resort with a limited gym. As I was out for a walk I noticed the Kissimmee Muscle Gym, and was glad to see you could buy a day pass. It was about 4pm, so I thought I could get a good workout in and come back for a second time before the pass expired. The gym was big, geared mainly for free weight and free weight machines. No problem, I was able to get a good upper body workout with dumbells. The cardio section was a collection of old treadmills and ellipticals. I found a vintage elliptical and got in a good session. Next, I was looking for a good place to stretch and do some push-ups and sit-ups. There was an inclined bench for sit-ups. The backroom has a musty carpet where I did my stretching and push-ups. Overall, workout was 6 out of 10. The day pass was $30. On the way out I checked with the manager (maybe he was the owner). When I asked if could return the next morning, he said no. That would be a two day pass and that is not available. It rolled out of his mouth like he has said it a million times. I felt it's no use talking to this person (you insert the derogatory name of your preference).

Overall, the gym is big. Don't expect a lot of help. There are no areas set up for stretching. The equipment is very old, but for the most part functional. The owner/manager is tactless and the biggest reason I wouldn't recommend this place and I will never return.

This place is super crowded, good luck whenever you want to use a machine , those kids at the front desk does not give a good customer services , I went for one day and I am not going back , pay a little extra for a real gym .

My family and I have been attending this gym since 2020. My brother and I were trespassed yesterday because John felt "threatened by our whole family". I have probably spoken to that man a total of 2 minutes combined since I started attending. Instead of calmly asking us to leave himself, he waited till we were mid workout to have a cop come and escort us out, he then proceeded to hide in his office with his girlfriend during it all. He has a lot of personal issues within that he will lash out on you so be careful even looking at him weird. Besides that incident, John is just straight up rude towards customers in general. Yelling out loud that people are incompetent because one little weight is on the wrong rack, being in the way of his walking path, and for even asking him a simple question. Also, all the "rules" he has posted everywhere he doesn't even follow himself, one being "RESPECT", so that's a joke. Lastly, the area is just so bad. Next door to a liquor store with crackheads walking all over, looking into the gym windows and even trying to get inside. GO TO GREED ISLAND BARBELL GYM INSTEAD! (IG: greedislandbarbell) A fairly new gym with a much better atmosphere and welcoming team.

I have been working out at Kissimmee Muscle Gym for the last 2 months while on vacation. John and Mary have both been fantastic to work with. The facility is top notch and has a very motivating atmosphere! I can't begin to thank John, Mary and Zara enough for making me so welcome!

This gym has great machines, and that's really the only reason why most people go. Also, Mary is such a lovely person and always so motivating. She always has a smile on her face and is very welcoming.

I know many people don't like (can't stand) the owner John but tolerate him due to the equipment. I also know that some of the reviews about him are pretty true. He is pretty judgemental and can't even hide it. But at least you know what you get.

The gym is also very dirty, soooo many people complain about this, but excuses are given about the landlord. The number of leaks is truly uncountable, and I know there has to be mold growing inside of the walls and possibly even under the floors. This is a health risk, and if John wanted to, he could seek legal action to get the landlord to repair, but this hasn't been done for some reason. I will not speculate...

Also, many times, the bathrooms were sooo dirty, and there were feces all over the toilets and floors. I swear I can not make this up.

Overall great equipment, some great members, Mary is great, the owner is not the best, the place is really dirty and a health and safety hazard. The equipment, Mary, and some cool members/trainers are really what's saving this gym from 1 stars all around.

My friend asked if they could put the $30 payment towards the $80 fee and person on the phone answered with, “no and really it sounds like this isnt the place for someone like you” that’s rude. They’re racist because my friend is Hispanic. All the bad reviews are from Hispanic people and the great reviews are from white people. So if you’re Hispanic/Latino definitely don’t go here

John is the biggest baby whiney booboo 50 year old man that will harrass you for either minding your own business or accusing you for using a 35lbs and putting it in the wrong rack even though you weren't the one that moved it lol.

Whatever you do don't go to this gym. Instead go to Greedisland barbell and you will have the greatest time of your life.

Visited recently while on vacation from NJ. Can't miss for a great work-out! Has equipment to train every part of every muscle!! Perfectly maintained and very clean. Professional, knowledeable and courteous staff!!!

This gym is great! It has everything needed for a great workout. Absolutely not your typical fitness center, however that is not what this gym is meant for. The staff is friendly and the gym is for those serious trainers. Never crowded. No one bothers you. You have the weights you need to get to work. I absolutely recommend this gym!

I stopped in to get a workout while in town for a conference. This place is really great to get a complete lift in. The cardio equipment is really good as well! Additionally, the owner, Johnathan is a super nice guy and it seems like he genially cares for his members.

This gym is HORRIBLE NEVER TRAIN HERE!! They seem like nice people, “travelers gym” yeah right lol. They don’t even have nice membership options, the price is more then 4X a normal gym( and it’s not even clean), and yes all their equipment are also old and rusted.

The WHOLE GYM SMELLS like sweat and stinks really bad. The rags to clean the machines are all black and dirty. Seems like all they want is the money, clearly you can see that in the price, and the owner doesn’t invest nothing back in that gym, not even in cleaning or equipments.

Worst thing was me leaving the country letting them know, they give me a CONFIRMATION that my membership was canceled. 4 months go by when I’m not in the US and they are charging me $400 with attorneys suing me. For a mistake their employee made! And the owner… no words for that guy, he’s always rude to customers, if he treated people nicely maybe it would reflect a little bit his business.

They don’t care about their customers or their gym, it’s just SAD. So much potential in a good location but horrible MANAGEMENT…

I love this place. This is a no BS place. You can come here to train and work hard. If you have fitness goals you are after this is the place for you. The owner is very nice you can see him walking around the place regularly checking things. I used to work at several gyms before and have visited gyms all across the country and I think this place is doing everything right.

Started going here about a month ago after switching from Crunch. It’s got a lot of machines and free weights, it’s not full of people and you can tell it’s a place where if you’re passionate about building muscle, this is where you want to be working out at. Definitely recommend!

Tons of equipment stuffed into a small space, very little free weights area, the total squat/deadlift spots, only two competition style benches. The kilo weights were locked and the management said they're for competition use only. Everyone was nice enough, but I was disappointed, I was really looking forward to training here while I was on vacation.

This place has revitalized my workout and motivation after two surgeries and a long layoff. If you can’t get inspired to workout and get in shape here, you won’t get it anywhere. I can’t put into words how happy I am to have found this place. Occasionally you are in the midst of professionals like Jimmy Mentis, who make you feel like part of the fraternity. Been looking for a new gym to work out at so I stayed right next to this gym my son is also into fitness so today we went by the gym so he could take a look through the windows and the owner several times already has been very rude threaten to call the cops for having a child admiring the facility and watching how the powerlifters were working the facility looks great equipment looks phenomenal but ownership the owner very rude which is that I also do CrossFit training and I work for a radio station I was looking to further my business with him or to have some type of business there but after that type of incident I don’t need someone coming and being rude for no reason before I even decide to do business with them so to the owner thank you they’re much better gyms that I can go to and stay tuned I’ll post my podcast from the radio station you have a blessed day sir
