Knockout Fitness is a kickboxing gym in Lake Mary, Florida focused on helping people transform their bodies and mindsets. Our 1 hour group workouts mix kickboxing, strength training, and accountability coaching to help you burn fat, build muscle, and feel amazing.

I signed up for Knockout after attending a free class - where do I begin? This place is AWESOME! I've never been surrounded by a more positive, encouraging, and fun workout environment! Every coach is friendly, knowledgeable, and brings the HEAT to class! I love that every time I come, I learn something new. The variety of the classes each week, as well as the routines within each class, is fantastic! I joined the gym to get myself active again after having my first baby, and I'm proud to say after 6 months of coming consistently, I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight and gaining more and more confidence each day! I love that we can track our progress in the apps available to us.
Coach Eddy and his team are fantastic! If you've ever been curious to try out boxing, this is the place to come! I have enjoyed getting to know everyone and look forward to many more classes in the future!

The coaches and the owner at Knockout Fitness care so much about their members. They have supported and encouraged me to lose weight and adopt healthier eating habits. Knockout fitness has truly changed my life. I have been a part of knockout for 15 months now and it is the greatest decision I made. I have lost a combined of 40 pounds over the last year and some change. The process has been wonderful and I have also been a part of two separate challenges while at the gym and it has been a great time. Coach Eddy is very caring and understanding and well knowledgeable about different things. The other coaches have also been Awesome to work with. They all care about you and they all asked questions about your level or experience within kickboxing. I enjoy that they keep the vibes going with great music, but also stop to take individual care of people and ensure that your form is correct.
I came to knock out after being at a previous kickboxing gym for about a year and a half and I am glad I made the switch. Many times people ask me why not a regular gym and I always ask why not knockout? I love it here and will remain a member for as long as I live in the central Florida area.

I started with Knockout Fitness on 08/20/2025 (I took the free class - my friend let me borrow her spare gloves) and it has absolutely changed my life!
The staff is wonderful!! They always check up on you to make sure you’re ok, and see if you need anything.
They give you positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.
You don’t just go in blind - they TEACH you how to move. We don’t just kick and punch. We also lift weights and do calisthenics.
I can see the fat melting off of me, and I feel so strong and confident with each class completed.
Plus the camaraderie is a perfect bonus to joining this community!!
I have recommended this gym to everyone I know, because I know how much it’s helped me in just a little bit of time!!

I was searching for a long time to find something that I could do to stay in shape. I came across knockout fitness a few years ago through a trial that helped me lose weight. I was gone for a little while but came back to this gym again. I'm drawn back by the way, i'm treated by the coaches and the staff and the way coach Eddy has done a fantastic job building this gym into what I came back to. That is a gym that not only challenges you but also cares about your development and cares about how you are progressing through the class. I recently joined a Halloween challenge, and part of that challenge was for me to stay accountable and make sure I come to class. Coach Eddy has made it fun and also helped to inspire me to make sure that I stay to my commitment. I would highly recommend this gym.Whether you are an avid gym goer or a beginner. The classes are challenging and also fun. They are also absolutely rewarding. Since I have been back, my sleep has been better.My energy has been amazing and my desire to continue bettering myself, each time has grown significantly. I can not say enough great things about this gym! They truly care about their members!!! Every work out is different, challenging and fun! Today I almost didn’t go! NOW I’m sitting here, SO PROUD! As much as I have worked out throughout my life, I've never really 'enjoyed' it. Too expensive, too many people, little to no accountability, excuses, excuses.
At 46 years old, I decided that I needed something more from a workout instead of rinsing and repeating the same routine that often resulted in boom and bust cycles and boredom, and so I found Knockout Fitness.
After sending an online enquiry, owner and head trainer Eddie phoned me for what was a 45 minute call and he simply spoke my language. Laying down what I want, what I dislike and he had all the right answers that have now been backed up by six weeks of working out here and I love it to the point, I miss it on my days off.
The gym is small, personable and friendly. The trainers are just wonderful people with backgrounds in health, fitness and nutrition and lend a sense of authority, rivaled only by a deep passion which is tangible and infectious during class.
All of the different workouts mean you are never doing the same thing more than once a week and it is TOUGH but the energy you put out, you get back from the almost primitive release of punching, kicking, kneeing and elbowing the heavy smart bags. It is mental too, remembering the different combinations, and more importantly technique, bringing together a full work out that is both CV but also building strength.
Eddie and the crew are always amenable, accessible and above all accountable to you and I have made more progress in six weeks than ever before and I look forward to each session.
If you are like me, and are looking for something a little different and want to see results while building your overall fitness and stamina, then really, Knockout Fitness is the place to be and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely love this gym! It’s a fun way to get your weekly exercise in. The coaches are all super friendly and motivating. This gym is for everyone, people interested in a way to get moving and for experienced boxers looking to hone in on skills alike. While my time at Knockout was short since I was moving, I could not have asked for a better first kickboxing experience! All of the coaches at knockout are so positive and wonderful at keeping spirits high and motivating you during the workout! The environment is so comfortable, and everyone is so kind! I am so glad Knockout was the first kickboxing gym I went to, and I will be continuing to do kickboxing after moving, which I’m certain I wouldn’t be doing if I hadn’t had such a wonderful first impression!

I absolutely fell in love with this place after my very first day. The workouts are pretty intense and I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to anything involving a grueling workout! I also train in Muay Thai and these classes have been extremely helpful with Conditioning. The staff, I adore. They are super energetic and take time to get to know you and your abilities at a personal level. Which is super helpful for reaching any goals you may have. They ensure that the bag, and the workout, does not intimidate you. 5 stars all day!

The workouts at Knockout Fitness are fun, energetic, and always offer plenty of variety. The coaches are all awesome, motivating, upbeat, and full of great energy to push you through each session. Each class feels effective, well-structured, and fun! You can really feel the positive impact of the workout afterward. The gym is also very clean and well maintained.
If you’ve never worked out or tried kickboxing workouts, don’t let that stop you. You can push yourself at your own pace and level, and all the coaches and members are super friendly and accommodating. I also appreciate the varied music playlist, so you’re never stuck listening to just one genre the entire workout (though I wouldn’t mind a little more metal \m/ ).
Overall, Knockout Fitness is a great experience that’ll knock you into shape, while keeping it fun!

The trainers are super motivating and really take the time to help you with form and technique, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. The workouts are always challenging but fun, and I’ve seen great progress in both strength and stamina.

My friend invited me to check this place out with her on a Saturday and I’m so glad I said yes. From the moment we walked in, the energy was amazing. The class was challenging but fun, the music was on point, and the coaches were super motivating without being intimidating. They know how to push you while keeping things positive and encouraging. Everyone was so welcoming which made a huge difference. I looked around for something similar closer to home but nothing had the same vibe or energy. Lost 30 pounds in my first year taking classes here. Coach Eddy has really grown this gym into a fun, energetic, and intense workout program. Highly recommend taking classes with Dante, they explain everything really well so you know exactly how to throw punches and kicks, and can work on other things you ask them about. I finally got a chance to join my friend here this week! Bonus--my teenage daughter needed a mental health day and came with me. The boost of confidence this gave her, endorphins, the ability to get stress out in a healthy fashion was exactly what she needed! She has told any and everyone that she went with Mom and her much cooler friend to work out :).
The workout itself was the strength format, which I absolutely loved--weights and core every round! Coach Mila was patient, worked with everyone on form, and is like a little ball of fire!

Love this gym, wish I'd found it sooner. Owner is a stand up guy, all about getting most out of it for your buck. I look forward to the classes every week - solid hour of organized sets, with weights dispersed between. Full body workout Everytime. I leave on a dopamine high and happily sore the next day. My husband and I decided to give kickboxing a try after years of doing CrossFit, and we fell in love! When we first joined the gym, we had no idea about kickboxing, but Eddy was so kind and took the time to explain everything to us. Knockout has an amazing vibe, well-structured classes, great organization, and excellent coaches.
Unfortunately, we’re moving out of state, and we’ll really miss the Knockout classes.

Joining Knockout Fitness has been one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. It has been transformative for me mentally and physically. I have always been active and into fitness but I’ve never experienced a workout that has been this effective as a stress relief for me. All of my angst disappears the moment we start hitting the bag and I leave feeling lighter, anxiety-free and genuinely happy that I went. I must say it is the first fitness membership in a while that I actually USE and keeps me motivated. The coaches have the best personalities and are AMAZING! Coach Eddy is attentive, encouraging, welcoming and truly cares about your wellbeing. Coach Jordan is extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. During class he even takes the time to translate how the techniques he’s teaching you can be used in real life, not just on the bag. I went here for a few months and will say that this is the best kickboxing gym that I've ever been to! I highly recommend anyone whether new to kickboxing or experienced to check out this gym. Coach Eddy has truly been amazing and checked up on me regularly (but not too much by any means). I mainly attended Coach Sarah's classes and she was truly soooo awesome, she always brought such great energy, I truly enjoyed taking her class!!
The only reason why I had to stop was because I'm pregnant and can barely keep any food down, so it was just unsafe for me. I contacted Coach Eddy to let him know and he canceled my membership with no problem and I never got charged again. I've heard of gyms still charging after cancelation, you definitely won't get that here. Please just remember to let them know around that 30 day mark.
I also want to add, that I was still working out early in my pregnancy and informed them about it. They were so great, with making sure that I had everything I needed and checking in on me to make sure that I was ok. Knockout fitness really have such a great environment and it does feel like a team and family. I can't wait to come back once it's safe for me to do so. Also, I did lose 12lbs in 2 months of training there. I'm sure it would've been more if I wasn't on soooo many hormones. It truly is such a great place for a great workout, getting healthy, and losing weight or building good muscle.

By far the best workout experience of my life! 💪 This gym has 1-hour classes led by friendly and energetic coaches who are encouraging and will help you learn good technique.
The vibe is fun and inclusive, and there are people of all levels and ages participating. I started out with virtually no skill, and Coach Eddy, Coach Aniko, and Coach Jordan were always willing to critique and encourage my technique. Not only for a good workout but to ensure my health and safety.
The music is great, and most of all, these workouts are FUN! 🥊 I mean, they are super challenging, but you're supported to do the best you can with no judgement. Even the other people working out are encouraging to each other and are willing to engage with you so you don't feel like a stranger. 🤗 There is definitely a family and friendly vibe here, and you are known by the staff and the coaches!

My sister attends class multiple times a week and decided to bring me along for a session while I was visiting. I was originally nervous as I have never kickboxed before, but it was such a positive experience! The instructor was so helpful, taking time to teach me the basic moves and making me feel welcomed! There was such a positive and encouraging atmosphere, the class was very straight forward and easy to navigate, and most importantly, so much fun! Better than rumble and all the others I’ve tried. if you want a real workout and actual attention to help you progress. In general just a great atmosphere great workouts that are truly designed by people who clearly know what they are doing. No judgement very supportive and just all around friendly helpful humans. The gym setup is simple and effective. Unlike the competition they don’t try to fool you with flashing lights and loud music. It’s fun and each instructor has their own personality. Nate will try to bribe you to say he’s the favorite but I’m voting for Eddy (justi kidding )

I’ve been looking for a gym that was similar to my Muay Thai Gym in Daytona Beach for over a year… even though it’s not the same Knockout Fitness gives me the same intense workout that I had been missing. I joined my 2nd day of my 10 day pass. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and assist in helping you correct your form. It’s been 30 + days and I love it. I attend class on the regular. I have nothing but THE BEST things to say about Knockout Fitness! I have never been one to truly enjoy working out, and this class has changed my perspective completely. Every day of the week is a different workout and every month they change the routine - so your body and mind are always challenged.
Coach Eddy not only teaches an amazing class, but he genuinely cares about your goals and how you are feeling. He went above and beyond to help me reach a short term goal I had set for myself. In two months I lost almost 10 lbs from coming to class three days a week. I always assumed I would stop the classes after I reached my goal, but I’m hooked and will continue to workout with Knockout Fitness.
When I couldn’t make my regular times, I had the pleasure of being instructed by Coach Sarah who has such an energetic and positive energy - both coaches put on such great classes that leave you exhilarated.

I have been going to Knockout Fitness for a few years now. I first started doing classes and now train individually as well. I have neve been someone that has enjoyed group exercise classes, but the energy, coaches, music, scoreboard, and overall fun of kickboxing at Knockout has made it part of my regular workout routines. I specifically like the cardio aspect of the workouts, but you do get the opportunity to do some strength training as well. Improving your form and score, getting healthier, and being part of a gym with judgment free vibes and lots of encouragement makes this a place that I love to be and will continue to be for a long time moving forward!

I've trained in different gyms for about 7 years now, and I have to say that this gym has one of the absolute best atmospheres. The trainers are knowledgeable and motivating. Christen Daniels is an amazing, motivating coach! I signed up for the free 21 day challenge and due to coach Christen's professionalism ended up staying for 3 months and making it to my goal weight!
Christen introduced me to MyFitnessPal which is an AMAZING app! She also explained Macros and the importance of planning and prepping your meals. Thankfully I found Plan to Nourish that explained how to plan and prep meals efficiently. The MyFitnessPal app also had useful tips on this. Coach Christen designed useful workout plans which were easy to follow and accomplish at home with few supplies. Give the program a try because it is worthwhile if you are motivated to learn and try new things.

This was one of the best martial arts experiences I've had outside of my home style and school. I've had about 10 years of martial arts experience where I was also a co instructor. My school however has since shut down, and I've been out of practice for almost another 10 years. With that being said, this place has a lot of great talent and good things going for it.
They have a generous trial period, where the sense of them trying to sell you on their "product" is non-existent. Mr. Friedman purely wants you to feel at home in his dojo, and his instructors and staff do an excellent job at making sure you feel it. One of the things that I treasured from my home school was that each individual and small movement was explained, and had a reason for doing it. While it might be a different style, the instructors are masters at teaching, and explain each step.
To keep myself from writing a book, as I've got nothing but excellent things to say about Mr. Friendman's school, I'll give some pros:
. Very knowledgeable instructors
. Excellent programs for any age and fitness/self defense goal.
. Large floor size to keep distance during COVID, and for demonstrating techniques as needed.
. Class energy was very relaxed, but professional and respectful.
Honestly if you're even remotely thinking about taking up a martial art or just wanting to get into shape, just do it. You won't regret giving them a shot.

I was all excited about starting this program. I received an orientation phone call from Ben explaining the program and at the end of the conversation he asked me what credit card I was going to use. I thought to myself this was advertised as a FREE 21 day program but I thought it was a good program so was going to go through with it anyway. I informed him that I didn't have a credit card with me and I would be able to give it to him when I got home from work. So he said he would contact me after 6pm. I received a call from my friend and her doctor stating that she was just diagnosed with bone cancer and she wanted me to help her during this devastating time and I told her of course I would. I received a text from Ben asking me if I was able to give him my credit card number now and I texted him back letting him know that due to this devastating news I received from my friend that I wasn't able to go through with the program at this time. He responded that if I didn't want to go through with this program that I didn't have to make up an excuse to get out of it and that my health should be my # 1 priority. I was extremely offended by his response that this was a made up excuse. I informed him that when I initially spoke to him I had every intention of following through with this program otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time or his. I am in the medical field myself and am fully aware of the importance of my health being# 1 priority but my friend was devastated by this news and I wasn't going to tell her sorry I have something more important to do. I apologize for any inconvenience I might have caused but for him to say I was making up an excuse was offensive and uncalled for. Maybe in the future he should not do all the prep work before he gets the payment for this so called FREE 21 day program

They teach you everything, nutrition, proper kickboxing technique, stretches. They adapt your training experience to any physical challenges you face. I came into this program looking for a way to become for active and to improve my overall health. I have a history of heart conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol in my family so at 27, it’s super important that I get on track now. Thanks to the help of Coach Lee and Knockout Fitness, I am finally on the right path. This program has caused me to see the importance of combining both nutrition and physical fitness. You hear people say all the time that “you will not lose weight from just exercising” but until you see those results yourself, you don’t believe it. I definitely saw some results and I love the in depth look at your body changes that the InBody app provides you. Even though my weight went down a little, I saw some big decreases in my body fat percentage and body fat mass. I’m able to fit into my clothes better and I definitely see a huge decrease in the size of my thighs which I’ve been struggling with for years. Hey Guys! My name is Vartika Gupta and I recently completed the six-week challenge at Knockout Fitness. I want to begin sharing my experience by sharing how awesome this challenge is. It is holistic in nature as not only you get to learn a new skill (kickboxing for me!), but do intensive workouts as often as you like and along with that you get guidance on how to eat right (which was the toughest part to figure out for me earlier). After the initial couple weeks, my body got used to exercising, so the soreness went away and the workouts have definitely helped increase my endurance and strength. I was able to do partial pushups, which I could not attempt earlier. My eating has become much better and though it is tough with dedication and determination you can achieve this too. To be honest I could not follow it 100% to the T but still I am proud to be able to lose 3% body fat with this challenge.
The classes are amazing, every class different and the coaches push you to try harder. Thanks to all the coaches but I’d like to give a shout out to coach Kat- she was amazing, her classes always fun and she really guided me every step of the way to improve and make better choices. You learn about meal prepping- so I started making a schedule ahead of the week to plan my meals and shop accordingly and maintained a diary to record all that I was eating and amount of water I was drinking.

First I went there for a FREE 6 weeks challenge wich is anything but free because I paid a lot of money for it but it’s ok I liked it and decided to do it. They explained to me that I can canceled it at any time. So I did talked in advanced that I can’t continue and they were so nice telling me that’s it’s ok I can canceled it. If I let them know I can’t continue I assumed the wrote it somewhere and I have nothing else to do about it. What a surprise when they call me today telling me that my card didn’t go trough. Of course I canceled it. And thank god i did it. Now they’re saying that i have to make this payment and then canceled it because I didn’t let them know on an specific day that i want to canceled it. What an easy way to get a month for free.

On November 3, 2018, I entered into the 6 weeks challenge and it has changed my perspective of this type of exercise. I love cardio and could dance all day long, but KICKBOXING has my muscles working double time and in places I wasn't aware had muscles. :)
I never kicked box in my life and now I love it. Let me not forget to mention that the coaches are AWESOME!
A big factor for me, as this being my first-time kickboxing, is having a great coach who talks to you, listens to you and provides you with a great workout.

Want to hear for the free six week training orientation class, Dave mentioned three a dozen times during orientation but at the end it cost you $300 to do the classes. When you ask if it’s not free they say it’s free, well I’m not sure about you but free to me means for you pay nothing nowhere does it say anything about this upfront so you don’t Waste an hour of your time for nothing. Biggest scam artist ever a cheaper to join 24 hour fitness and pay for a personal trainer.I work for car dealership and sell cars for a living I can tell when I’m being played from the beginning. I’ll pay $1000 for a personal trainer as long as they’re honest and upfront about it. What a bunch of liars and scam artist and then they smile in your face

Knockout Fitness is amazing! The coaches care about your personal goals and progress. I'm not a morning person, but the 9:30am class motivates me to get moving and ready for the day. I've lost 25lbs during my 6 week transformation challenge and I feel wonderful. The people are great and come for the same reason... to get healthy and have fun! I didn’t know if I could do this... first work out was hard but second time it got better and each workout gets better. This is so much better then working out at a boring gym and expensive personal trainer. You get all the benefits of a fat burning workout, proper nutrition, caring coaches for an awesome motivating weight loss program. I finished week 6 challenge and I lost 17 pounds. Every other day I see another pound gone. I am so happy I joined this family. I know I will reach my goal and it will be so much easier here! I am one of the very first members of knockout fitness. Actually, I started kickboxing classes with Mike Friedman 5 years ago, before knockout fitness even had a name. I immediately loved the classes and formed close friendships with other members. I am still friends with a lot of them now and we still meet to kickbox together! Kickboxing is FUN! These classes are high energy and kick your butt! You walk out feeling like you can accomplish anything that comes at you. In fact, I loved the classes and my coaches so much that I became a coach about 3 years ago! Let me say, I love my job and everyone that I work with. I have never worked with a more dedicated group of people. The coaches are dedicated, educated, and here for the members 24/7. I could not be more proud to be part of this family.

I did not appreciate the pushy sales tactics and it definitely not free for their boot camp. They will ask you for $600 up front or $50 a week. If you could can lose 20lbs in in 6weeks then you can get your money back ( only a discount if you choose $50 a week) . If you are gaining muscle I think most will not reach this huge goal. They will not tell you any of this until you sit through “an interview “. I honestly might have joined if they where direct instead of using obviously aggressive sales tactics. I wish all businesses well, and that is the only reason I changed the rating from a 1 star to a 3.

I started this fitness journey because my blood pressure was 140\90 and I didn't want to end up on medication. The coaches at Knockout Fitness have been amazing. The nutrition was spot on and I learned how to eat to fuel my body. The workouts were challenging but so much fun. Recently had a co-worker who was persuaded into depositing $800 in order for the “opportunity” to earn it back if he was to meet a goal of -5% body fat. After 6 weeks when the final measurement was taken the staff had apparently missed placed his original body fat percentage. Being inaccurate and subjective the company then went on to not refund him his $800 after losing 16 pounds and 5% from his original sign up measurements. Very unprofessional way to handle such a large deposit for something which purpose is to motivate customers to reach their goals not manipulate numbers for revenue.

I just completed the 6 week challenge and it was truly life changing. My goal was to lose 6% body fat, but ended up loosing 7% body fat with the help of Coach Mike, Lee, Kat, Ervin, Rhonda and Melissa! Every single one of them always took the extra time to help me wether it was about my form or even down to what was the best meals to make throughout the week. If you were like me and struggled shedding off some weight and stressed every possible option out there, then I highly recommend giving this challenge a shot. I promise that you won’t regret it!

I have taken kickboxing classes starting at the age of 47, a few months short of turning 48 years old and can absolutely state it is the best work out I have ever participated in! I have always been active since my teens, have done a variety of workouts even participating in the ARMY Olympics in the mid 80's. I am in the best shape of my life at the age of 51. I weigh 5 lbs more than what I weighed at high school graduation but with much more muscle mass. I am 15.8% body fat, size 4. Aside from the exterior part of what Knockout Fitness has done for me, it also promotes a degree of self defense and its also a great stress reliever! Each workout is different, so boredom and diminishing results are never an issue. Try it, you will not be disappointed, if fact, you might find yourself addicted!!!!

Knock out fitness has been the best workout i done since boot camp... the classes are fun and challenging each class is different. Never the same workout so you'll never get board. The coaches are amazing. They are friendly and really want to see you do well. They push you to your limit, they believe in you when you dont think you have what it takes. The classes really made for all fitness levels the coaches will modify the exercise too meet your needs not the typically cookie routine like other gyms have. The gym is clean and well maintained. Starting knockout fitness was the best decision i made.

They are in the same building as Champion Karate and Focus Performing Arts on Williston Park Point (off Rinehart Rd.).They have flexible plans where you can pay per class or purchase a monthly or annual plan. The instructors help you meet your fitness goals and make it fun as well.
