I am so impressed with Koenig Martial Arts. Sensei Koenig teaches karate very effectively. His calm, patient demeanor, his knowledge of karate, and his sense of humor allow him to reach beginner students and advanced students. My sons have grown and improved their discipline, physical strength, coordination, and stamina. They also have had such a good time interacting with the other students in their class. Hi, My name is Samuel Perdomo. I have been a student at this dojo since March (I think). I started out karate because my mom wanted me to do something instead of sitting looking at a screen all day. It was going to be the gym at first but I didn't really like it, then when we were going back to the car we saw karate. I told my mom, "I want to do that" and we signed up for karate. When I started out I wasn't an "Ideal" person; i was a jokester and i didn't really take it seriously then i saw some high ranks practicing and i was like "wow, i want to be like them" Then i started to try to change i think i have become a really different person from the past in such a short time. I am a purple belt and have just learned the first few segments of my kata. I wouldn't be able to have done any of this if it wasn't for my sensei, Darin Koenig, he is an all around great guy and I look up to him. He gives discipline, and is very patient, he was with me when I first started.

We are so grateful to have met Sensei Koenig. He is very patient in meeting every student's potential. Our son loves going to his dojo where he is taught daily the art of respect and building confidence within himself. He is dedicated to his students. He helped to shape and mold our son into a National Champion within his first year of training under him. We don't say this lightly but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dojo to the young and the old.

Amazing karate dojo. Great for all levels of experience. Sensei Koenig is higly experienced in Karate and truly loves instructing his students.

We have three kids, ages 9, 13 and 15, that attend this dojo, and they love it. Sensei is very caring yet firm with his instruction. We higly recommend this dojo.

My son practices Karate at this Dojo and I've got to say I'm truly impress with Sensei Koenig level of dedication with all his students. He makes sure to give feedbacks to each and every one of them during class. He transmits confidence, and teaches Karate in a way so students can understand that Karate is both physical and mental activity. For youngsters he always find time to do something fun at the end of the class. If you want to learn traditional Shotokan Karate I would say to pay this Dojo a visit, you will not be disappointed. He also has additional programs like self-defense, Kobudo, etc.

This is one of those authentic place to learn Martial arts. I am very glad I found sensei keonig. I came here from a different martial arts practice from east of the world, I could relate very well with what sensei keonig teaches. Formative for my son. The class strikes a good balance between being structured yet very fun. I've seen the focus, discipline, and willingness to try increase in my boy (and not just within karate, but in schoolwork and other activities). My boys love Sensei Koenig! He is great with the kids and they have a ton of fun in class while getting exercise, learning to be respectful (they have started saying yes ma'am/sir to use at home - thanks Sensei!) and learning to be confident kids.
