Man, it has been 18+ years (in my early 50s), February 2004, that I worked with a personal trainer (PT). At the start, I had no goals. I just knew that I wanted to be active and somewhat in-shape. I ran consecutively 3-5 miles each day. But, I wanted something more. As a result, I searched for a PT. I spent weeks searching. After finding one, I signed up working out two times per week. After four months, as my legs and body strengthened, I signed up to run my first marathon. Wow, what a goal it was!!! I ran it in less than four hours. What an accomplishment!! I continued my long distance running. Running 20 miles at times on Sunday morning. I was so proud!! Being cocky back then, I thought I could continue on my own without a PT, so I quit training. What a mistake! After a time, I developed physical aliments like runners knee (patellofemoral syndrome), lower body issues, et al, that I quit running. Many years later, I realized I should've never stopped training with a PT.
A few months ago, I started Google searching again for a personal trainer. After awhile, I stumbled;ed on Konstant Fitness. Wow!!! What a tremendous find!
Having stopped by just to visit and view the location is when I met Ken, owner of Konstant Fitness. Ken fed me loads of information describing training sessions, frequency of training, nutrition, diet, flexibility, and much more. I was impressed. It was during this meeting that I let Ken know about two injuries: runners knee and an injured rotator cuff. Without hesitation, I signed up with Ken before leaving. I found this location to be definitely an elite gym that fit my hunger for training, strengthening, fitness, nutrition, diet, and overall health. I have gained muscle mass, increased endurance and stamina, lost body fat with weight loss, changed diet, and increased nutrition knowledge.
After two months of training with Ken, I am reaching my goals of fitness, weight loss, and strengthening. Ken has successfully incorporated exercises to "heal" previously mentioned injuries.
If you are hesitant about joining Ken as your personal trainer, I strongly recommend to stop in and chat with him. Listen to his very informative session. Without further hesitation, I strongly suggest to sign up with him to begin your training program. You will not be mislead whatsoever.

I began working with Ken in October after being recommended several times by a close friend who is one of Ken’s clients. I know my way around a gym and ate fairly healthy (so I thought); however, recurring back pain and a cholesterol warning from my doctor made it clear I needed follow my friend’s advice and call in a professional - and that is exactly what Ken is. I’ve worked with various trainers before and I found Ken’s approach to be fact-based and solid. What really sold me on Ken is that we work together - he listened to my concerns, health issues and goals and together we tackled them. With his background in Physical Therapy, we tackled the pestering back pain by improving core strength and made subtle but significant improvements in form to the point my back is no longer a daily - or even weekly - issue. Following Ken ’s advice on diet, I realized that while I did tend to eat healthy, it was in all the wrong proportions, so again with Ken’s expertise and encouragement went from an “Average” starting body composition to “Excellent” composition in just a few short months. On top of all the professional accomplishments noted above, Ken is a great guy who I have fun with and look forward to seeing every session. He has my highest of recommendations - thank you Ken!

I’ve been working with Ken since July of 2020. My main reason for contacting him was due to an arthritis-like condition that was causing muscle and joint stiffness, which in turn was affecting my balance. Due to his extensive background and knowledge base, Ken has helped me build muscular strength while also increasing my stability, which has helped to improve my overall self confidence. He seems to know better than me what I’m capable of and I’ve long since learned to trust him implicitly when he pushes me to do something I’m not sure I can do. In addition to being a highly skilled professional, he’s alert, polite and personable. His persona is such that he helps you build self confidence while simultaneously helping you to achieve your goals. As to my own progress, when I last saw the doctor, he said “keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working wonders.” I have Ken to thank for that!

“Trust the process” – those have been Kenny’s words to me for the past 5 weeks and guess what? The process works! Last night the numbers proved it – The needle moved in all the right directions – weight & fat loss, and gain in lean muscle! THANK YOU, KENNY! About 2 months ago, I made the decision to invest in myself so that I can age gracefully, gain strength and flexibility, lose weight and just become healthy overall. Kenny is the perfect trainer for me because in addition to being knowledgeable, he explains the process during our training sessions. He helps me understand what muscles should be working and watches carefully to make sure that my posture and movements are correct. He also cheers me on and reminds me of how far I've come. OH, and I also like the fact that he makes decisions during our sessions to challenge me by sneaking an extra 5 or 10 pounds in on the next round just to see if I can handle it! (…shhhhh….don’t tell him I’m aware….LOL 😊) We are just getting started but I can tell you that I am excited about the journey and have full confidence in Kenny’s ability to get me to where I need and want to be. I have worked out with many trainers over the years and there is no doubt in my mind that Ken is an elite trainer. I ski on the Master’s Ski Team in Squaw Valley. We ski 4 1/2 hours a day, 6 days a week. I went to Ken to prepare me for the season. He came up with a program that was specific to skiing which included exercises not just for legs, but whole body so i would have the endurance and strength overall to compete. After ski season, it’s time for me to get my beach body back. Ken helped me get in shape for that as well. He came up with a different program that challenged my upper body as well as building off my legs from ski season. I love working out with Ken because he is so thoughtful, knowledgeable and he makes the workouts challenging and fun! ;-)

After gaining weight post abdominal surgery in August, I was desperate to find a way to gain back control over my body. With two bad knees and an ortho who preached against any type of leg work, I was discouraged. Then I found Ken and started a program in October. With his PT background, he is able to work around bad knee days, and has also been able to get my abs back! The weight loss part of the process may seem slow, but the muscle building is visible within only a few weeks. People have already started to comment on my arm muscles! And the leg work has improved my cycling. It's awesome! Thanks Ken!

I met Ken in Aug 2018. With a recent Type II Diabetes diagnosis at the age of 61, I decided to confront it through exercise and by moderating eating habits. I have been training with Ken from Konstant Fitness for nearly 18 months, and I couldn’t be happier. By far the best investment you can make is in yourself, and Ken is definitely the right person to help you capitalize on your fitness goals. Over this time we have trained 4-5x a week and this has made a huge difference in my life, I have never felt better, healthier or stronger. The motivation I have gained from training with Ken has overall driven me to make my physical wellness a top priority in my day to day life.
