The entire team here is exceptional — professional, courteous, and truly dedicated to creating a positive experience for every member. A special shoutout to the amazing cleaning crew, Solangel Arenas and Leopoldo Malagon, who keep the gym spotless day after day. Their attention to detail and hard work make such a difference and are greatly appreciated.

And of course, kudos to General Manager Jeff Kirman for leading such an outstanding team and maintaining such a high standard across the entire facility.

I love this place! They have tons of machines, lots of weights, and the place is so clean! When I was lying down on a machine, looking up at the ceiling, I was amazed that there was not one speck of dust even way up there! The personal training is in a large separate room, which is nice! The indoor pool is very clean, and large, lots of lanes set up for swimming laps, and a clock which I find very useful! Go in and ask for Jeff to sign you up! He is awesome and will get you the best deal!!!

The personal training program at this location is amazing. As a female 50+ first timer, my trainer Diana, is not only patient but has done a thorough job introducing me to the world of resistance training. The other trainers are also helpful and assist with form and use of the machines when I'm training alone. I would recommend this location and program to anyone "on the fence"!!!!

There's been signs on treadmills saying they are scheduled for service for months. Today, the 6th treadmill I tried without a "broken" sign worked (both tv and machine). Otherwise, the gym is nice.

I rejoined LA fitness one year ago after previously being a member prior to the pandemic. This time around, I started working with Ivan Karp, personal trainer. Best decision I ever made. In the year I’ve been working with Ivan, he has helped me not only meet, but exceed my original goals. I look forward to my sessions and will continue working with him. I can’t to see the improvements year #2 will bring. In addition, they’ve got some fabulous zumba classes.

As I was working of leg compression I was on for 15 min a rude white woman come over stand doesnt ask nothing and goes to complain to an employee and this white man obviously sides with this woman as she's "old" no lator then 50 and both start to yell at me when la fitness policy is 30 a machine I was doing half and as I finish both yelling at me two get off rudely a nice black lady came and talked nicely fix ur employee and do better yelling at a 17 yr old MINOR is disgusting and siding with someone yelling and being embarrassing is so sad and DISGUSTING.

I am a member and frequently go to LA Fitness. I have zero complaints , it's always clean , the staff is friendly , the members are respectful , the gym is equipped with everything I need. With that said I have to give credit where it's due , I met Ivan who is a PT and was genuinely impressed ! I have worked with other PT's in the past but he is definitely an expert in his field , everyone definitely recognizes his talent in the gym ! i can not recommend him enough !

Be careful! If I could put 0 I would. So I went to the gym, and one day my membership was cancelled. As it turned out, my husband cancelled my membership without my permission. He did it December 11 and I found out January 20 . I can't believe how the gym could allow this. How could anyone else cancel my membership. I asked for them to be returned, but they told me that now I have to pay a sign fee again. I opened a promotion and three more people signed up with me, they were left. But mine was cancelled. I can't believe it. I went to the gym in Boca Raton, but they cancelled the one in Deerfield Beach, I've never even been to that location. I'm shocked

I have been to dozens od LA Fitness locations across the country and i can easily say the Beracasa location off Powerline next to WinnDixie is the worst LA Fitness I have ever been to. The equipment is not maintained properly., the dumbbells are NEVER returned to their correct location by patrons or managers, the floors the locker rooms are cleaned perhaps weekly, the pool water is like an ice bath (however recently that may be improving), the TVs on the equipment have the Disney Channel (really not joking) but no CNBC for stock market watchers. When asked about these and other issues the managers just shrug it off. I would try other locations first because no one cares at this location.

I did try to sneak in but ended up finding a friend with a guest pass and they kicked my out any ways cause I lied three times not knowing what I’m going through that I’m trying just to play basketball some people just don’t understand basketball is therapy for some people. They need to work on not having people clean during busy times. They got this guy vacuuming the floor with a 10000 foot cord around the gym. He makes you move your things and he cleans right under your feet. It is the most abused thing I have ever seen. If they want to have someone doing something meaningful during busy times they should have people rendtack the weights that are all over the place. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone trips

By far my favorite LA fitness for miles. I know it's newer but it's very clean, all the equipment is well oiled and I feel a lot safer here than some others. The bathrooms are clean too.

The one in delray is a travesty half the equipment is broken or the weight pins are missing on many machines. And then some of the equipment they use use these fat grip machines for life fit or hammer strength. Same goes for the tech way LAF, which has a lot of problems.

The equipment here however is pristine. They actually have all the equipment I prefer and even some that other la fits don't carry ( decline press (thin grip) shoulder press (thin grip), and especially the calf extension (my favorite).
Plenty of Smith machines squat racks and bench presses.

The cardio equipment is pathetic. Machines are falling apart. Cant connect any external devices or sync with Life Fitness app. The leg machines are all broken and wobbly. Just not an adequate gym. The free weight section is a nightmare of unorganized weights. You can never find what you’re looking for and forget about anything being in its proper place.

We've had a few bad experiences with Taylor in sales. He's dishonest and rude. Upon asking about hidden or additional fees in the preview center, months ago he stated clearly that there were no other fees of any kind. Problem is, that he omitted the $35 annual fee for every account. When I asked him about that fee, he responded "oh, you're informed!" instead of addressing his dishonesty. I told him that was his job to inform me. Yesterday we visited the now open location at Beracasa Way in Boca Raton to look it over. We had the misfortune of dealing with Taylor again. He remembered us and his earlier deceit, so he acted very rudely and rushed through a tour and mumbled and looked away from us while talking. He also lied again about the $35 fee stating it would only apply to one of our accounts but not both. When I asked for it in writing, he refused. We asked for a one-week pass which he begrudgingly wrote up. My fiance got a pass good for a week but he wrote my pass up to expire in 1 day, today. This morning she brought the pass to him and asked him why it was backdated by a week and and to correct it and basically ignored her, printed a new pass, left it on the table in front of her and walked away without any discussion or apology or common courtesy.
Aside from this awful behavior, this brand new location is already filthy. There was a used band-aid on the edge of the pool on the deck last night and I told Taylor who looked away and mumbled. Today the band-aid was still there. Additionally, we noticed that about half of the cardio machines were covered in sweat. The dash area, handles, and the sides of the machine deck look like they were left out in the rain, except its sweat (the chemical equivalent of urine). I asked a cleaning person if the machines were supposed to be cleaned off regularly, she got defensive and said "I'll clean them now if you want." I told her that I wasn't asking her to clean them, but needed to know if cleaning them was part of the regular maintenance. She said the other crew was supposed to clean them but had obviously not done so. The men's and women's locker rooms have very dirty floors. Paper towel fragments, dirt, foot powder, etc. all over the place. It's already a dump and nobody seems to care or monitor the quality of the cleaning people. It's a shame because there are many positive things that would have my attention if not for the total lack of competent adult supervision of the staff. To the owners, your substantial investment is firmly in harm's way.

Update 7/5/24:
Several machines in disrepair. Asked manager when to expect resolution. They said “takes forever, could be months, corporate handles repairs and not enough staff for all the clubs to handle in a timely manner”. I asked if it wasn’t worth hassling corporate for better attention. He repeatedly said it wasn’t worth a try and he wouldn’t try. They don’t care about members’ satisfaction.

I understand that the gym experience can be frustrating when people don't follow proper etiquette, such as not cleaning up after themselves and not re-racking their weights. It's important for everyone to be considerate and respectful in shared spaces. When I tried talking to the gym management about this issue they stated there is nothing they can do . Then stated L.A. I was a member of LA Fitness for two years and found this club to be the best one!

I moved out of state and recently came back. My most recent experience at LA Fitness left me thoroughly impressed. What truly sets this gym apart is its welcoming atmosphere, exemplified by the exceptional service. I had the opportunity to meet Dan, of one of the newer Managers.

This gym is horrific, weights all over, few weights are racked, kids dribbling basketballs around the gym, people put the phones on machine or bench then walk away, come back 5 minutes later and say they are working out there. Groups of 4-10 teens clustering while horsing around playfully putting on more weight than they can lift then letting them fall.
LA Fitness acts like they are not responsible for what goes on, and calling the corporate office lets you think they will do something, but they are really just laughing at you. But people can be seriously injured even killed if someone is negligent and LA Fitness's negligence will eventually be their downfall.

Brand new facility, clean, with new equipment, good A/C... However absolutely no rules are enforced and violations are ignored. Weights are never put back; all over the floor, People dropping, even throwing weights. The younger crowd is clueless and rude, always on their phone, or taking selfies even in the dressing/bath rooms, The staff acts like they don't see anything and they do a bad acting job at listening to a complaint. Some kids throwing & dribbling basketballs in the weight area, others put a phone or keys next to a machine or bench, walk away then expect to have that item reserved for when they get back from working out at another area.
LA staff is all sales only, and will never do anything to get involved.

Overall, the club looks decent. There are numerous cardiovascular machines, in particular, the stair climbers which have been out of order for a long time. Half of the machines have out of order signs , and the other half have do not but have issues with digital display function. Not one works both mechanically and digitally. There is no time frame on ETA repair, and the front desk knows little. When you use different clubs, take notice that LA Fitness drags their feet with equipment repair. If you are a member or plan to join, take notice of old equipment, out of order signs, water fountains that don't work, machines that are broken for long periods of time, etc... The repair delays are unfair to the members. LA Fitness does not reimburse members when various equipment and amenities aren't available because they are poorly maintained. This has been frustrating. Hope this helps those contemplating the right fitness center.

Extremely Disorganized Gym Experience at LA Fitness Beracasa Way

I recently visited the LA Fitness gym located on Beracasa Way, and I must say it was one of the most unorganized gym units I've ever encountered. My experience there was consistently frustrating due to the lack of organization, particularly when it comes to the placement of dumbbells.

During the same week, I made an effort to visit the gym at three different times: morning, afternoon, and night. Shockingly, each time I visited, I found the dumbbells scattered and misplaced. I was hoping that maybe the issue was time-specific, but the weights remained a mess even in the morning, which is generally considered a quieter period at the gym.

The disarray of the dumbbells not only made it difficult to find the appropriate weights for my workout but also posed a safety concern. It's important for a gym to maintain a certain level of cleanliness and organization for the benefit of its members. Unfortunately, the Beracasa Way unit fell short in this regard.

I appreciate that gyms can get busy and equipment can be moved around, but this level of disorganization is simply unacceptable. I hope that the management of the LA Fitness Beracasa Way unit takes notice of these issues and takes immediate action to improve the overall organization and cleanliness of the facility. As a member who values their fitness routine, I believe that a well-maintained gym environment is crucial for a positive workout experience.

This location is the perfect balance. I signed up to LA Fitness (5 min from my house) as soon as my baby turned 4 months. I wasn’t satisfied with the lady from the kids club at the location I signed up at AT All. I was actually very disappointed. Not only because she was rude to me but also because she couldn’t care less about providing good care. So, I started my search for a different location and this is it. ELIZABETH IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. She loves my baby, she treats me with respect, cares and loves her job. She will never make you feel like a bad mother for leaving your 5 month old baby on her care. I absolutely LOVE HER. She is worth my 25 min drive everyday

No sauna, weights aren’t ever racked, outdated equipment, shower heads spray like hoses. The cables section not only lacks attachments, but at least one of the usable cables is always out of service. And something as simple as keeping the water filters up to date, cannot be followed correctly. Major changes needed.

It’s a big gym but it’s also compacted to where everyone is so close to each other. There where a good amount of weights near the dumbbell section. The basketball court was a lil small. But everything else about the gym is perfect. It’s newer so it comes with a new design and great feel cause it’s all modern!

Such a beautiful building but it’s missing an essential part of the reason why I love LA fitness - the hot tub. To me, recovery is an important part of fitness and I rely on the hot tub to help alleviate the pain from working out. I’d encourage this gym to add a hot immediately.

The showers are filled with sewer flies all over the back walls. Half of the lights do not work in the shower area and the AC vents have never been cleaned ever. Sad this place isn’t taken better care of.

Another one of those companies where it is easy to sign up and hard to cancel. You can sign up at the branch but cannot cancel in person or online or via email. You need to go to the website, login (if you can remember the password), print a form and submit it to them via mail.
It is 2022. Not 1990. Very inefficient and loss of time. Maybe you give up and pay a few more months for nothing.

Every time I go I have to hunt for attachments for the cable machines. Handles cost less than one months membership so I’m not sure what’s stopping them from ordering more. You would think management would take inventory of the equipment but I think they’re too focused on selling training.

I have been going to This location for years I got hired in the kids club and devoted all my time snd love to the children who come here ,I found out last week on my birthday they are closing this location needless to say I’m devastated , the children are sad one little girl told me today Lyz don’t worry I have camera eyes and I see you everyday

This location has a horrible management Team. The place (equipment) are extremely dirty. Come and see for yourself. I have complained and showed to the manager and they didn’t do anything about. Week after week is dirty as can be. Also they CLOSED permanently the KIDS CLUB with only a week noticed. This location don’t care for the customers for sure.

Upon signing up with the manager Jeff and even calling prior and talking to a staff member named Matthew prior to going to this location I asked what exactly I needed to bring for my child seeing how he’s not yet fully crawling.. (he’s 8.5 months).. They said nothing was needed.. Not a chair or anything.. Luckily I’m always prepared because as soon as I walked in the lady (Elizabeth) tonight asked me if I had something to put him in like a stroller or anything because she can’t hold him or anything.. I swung by after my cardio and before the machines and she gave my thumbs up.. Yet when I came back she was in over her head.. There were 10 older kids hovering my poor Giovanni while he was screaming.. Of course she had told me “he just started” but then had the audacity to tell me he cried earlier and she asked another CHILD for help! Like what?!?! You asked a four-year-old to help you with my infant? Then she had the nerve to tell me that this was not a good time to come and to come in the morning.. Mind you their hours are only 9-12 and 5-8.. and I work! Needless to say I caused a huge scene upon leaving and she denied everything to mine and the manager’s face.. and speaking of manager he was no better.. Mid mommy attack he was more focused on signing a birthday card for one of his employees than listening to the rest of what I had to say.. which made me flip out even more! I will not be bringing myself or my child to that location (Palmetto and Powerline) ever again even if someone else replaces her.. She had my life in her hands.. and she’s lucky I didn’t take hers tonight.. Calling corporate in the morning!! 😠😡🤬😤🔪💣🔥

Staff is indifferent at best, DBs racks are empty, customers (and staff) vape tobacco inside the gym. No redeeming qualities except proximity to my house. Also get ready for a nightmare if you try to cancel, hard selling and receiving four emails a month until you die. I love this gym, very clean and convenient location. But most of all I absolutely love my personal trainer Aline!!! She gives the best workouts and is extremely encouraging. She is also very flexible and works around my schedule to get me in. Her leg and glute works outs are killer. Best personal trainer ever!!

The gym is big and has a lot of different equipment, but the big minus is their kid room. The lady who’s babysitting kids seems to have no any experience of taking care of them. She doesn’t know how to deal with small kids, how to distract them and how to entertain them. I dropped off my son and after 5 minutes she called me saying he’s crying. I came in and she showed no interest of dealing with him or make him play, moreover he fell and hit his lip, it was red in there and he showed me exactly the place and how he fell. The lady said she has no idea, she didn’t see him falling and that he’s crying not because of that, but because he wanted to go to mommy. That’s why I had to cancel the membership and she said “Ok”. You shouldn’t be advertising yourself as a gym with kid room, if there is no qualified worker for it.

Really nice gym with a pool, basketball court, and seperate studios for classes and private workouts. They havel loads of machines and a great vibes in in the gym. They even gave me a nive one week trial! I think they just need to add a little more room for free style work out and streching.

I recently moved a little more east and wanted to change my single gym member pass to this location which I thought would be an easy task. Upon going there for the first time they let me work out after I explained that I just moved but they said that they have to cancel the membership and I had to open a new one and be charged another initial charge and annual fee. I wanted to talk to the manger after that and they said he would call and they never did. I called the next day and I left my number and he never called back. I’m just not gonna keep chasing them down to have one simple thing fixed.

Always busy. You can’t get a proper work out in due to alot of an inexperience people not properly using the machines and in correct muscle order which causes a lot of chaos. Staff and people harass you when you’re obviously on the phone or listening to music and working out.
