Just like the other reviews, this place is pretty disgusting. Most of the gym equipment is heavily rusted, wipe stations almost always empty, and dirt and dust cakes the insides of the gym lockers. It's so bad here even cockroaches are dying at this gym. Do yourself a favor and not buy a membership here like I did.

Edit: The gym has been renovated and the facilities are much cleaner under new management. Now reccomend!

Visited this facility on a business trip, under their FREE 3 day visitors pass. Very polite and knowledgeable staff, Ray helped me get setup once arriving and made sure everything was satisfactory during my visit. I am a certified trainer at another gym. Been in this industry a long time. Came in for a day pass. I was asked to sit and wait for somebody to come speak with me for a tour I didn't request at all. Young kid gave me a tour, very professional, then directly after the tour he sat me down and asked me if I wanted to hear about the memberships. I am not trippin about my personal experience or the way I was treated. That was all very professional and curtious.

What I don't understand is how any staff member could offer to hear about the memberships without letting the potential member get there work out in and/or get a feel for the facility. If I were a potential member that would be an absolute turn off. No consideration for potential member goals for their physical fitness, what brought them to the gym or anything like that. It's mot hard to incorporate all of that into a tour.

Not sure if this is Esporta/LA Fitness business module or how people are trained but if you have any questions let me know, this is an easy fix and I'd be willing to help. It aint about the money, its about people's health.

I'm writing this review out of sheer frustration because this is the third time this week I've experienced such an outrageous display of unprofessionalism at your Lake Mary location.
I needed help with something regarding my membership, but the staff member at the front desk/on the floor was completely occupied. He was too busy chatting up his girlfriend to pay any attention to members.
The worker in question was Hispanic, with a goatee, and wearing a brown jacket. His girlfriend was Asian and dressed in all black.
It is absolutely ridiculous and honestly insulting to see this kind of behavior while I'm trying to get a workout in. I pay good money for my membership and expect to see staff who are focused on their jobs and available to help, not on their personal lives. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.

I visited the Lake Mary LA Fitness to try a free trial. The staff member, Ricardo, told me no trial was available and charged me $20, even though the website clearly offers a three-day free trial. The staff at this gym are really friendly. The equipment could use a refresh. The new equipment they just put in the basketball court is definitely an upgrade. However, if they want to compete long term with other gyms they need to rethink the layout and the rooms that no one uses. Also the cycle bikes could use a refresh too. I only come here because they have a kids club otherwise I’d probably go to Crunch.

I do not recommend joining this gym as the bathrooms are 90-100 degrees F at all times. Not the sauna, the restroom/locker room. Many members have complained and the management say they have passed it to corporate and yet nothing has changed. Imagine going to shit, shower or change and a 100 degree bathroom and locker room. Unacceptable and where the fault lies is irrelevant to the lack of a resolution. Remember we pay to go here instead of the many many competitors.

The gym is spacious, organized, and clean. The staff is always helpful and attentive. You can see the cleaning crew working constantly, which gives a great sense of care and hygiene.
My daughter stays at the Kids Club every day and loves it! As a mom, it makes me happy to know that while I’m working out, she’s playing and having fun.
People who go there are generally respectful, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. I truly enjoy being there—it’s my moment of therapy and social time.

Maite’s spin class is fantastic!

Her music choices keep us motivated, and she really knows how to push us for maximum results. She’s always checking in to make sure everyone is comfortable and hydrated. You will feel supported and energized every time.

Omar’s class is also great—definitely worth trying if you’re looking to mix it up!

Of all the gyms in the area, the Lake Emma LA Fitness is my preferred workout spot thanks to the facilities, customer service, and demographic. It has everything you could ask for—from squat racks and bench presses to stair climbers and group classes.

The free weights selection is impressive and includes 2.5 increments (e.g., 12.5, 17.5) and multiple sets of the same weights, so even if a set is in use, there is likely another set (or two!) available. Similarly, there are multiple racks, benchpress setups, and popular machines.

The demographic is motivating and respectful—most people follow appropriate gym etiquette and mind their own business. Whenever someone has engaged me, it's been complimentary and polite.

The customer service is also excellent. The check-in staff are friendly without impeding on your workout, and management is supportive—Rich is particularly helpful and courteous.

Has become a teen basketball hang out and is no longer a respectable gym. Also, they make it impossible to cancel a membership, but the majority of the teens playing basketball don’t have memberships. If you want to pay for someone’s kids to ruin your gym time, this is the place.

I love this club/gym. They were so helpful and understanding. My mom passed away and I had to cancel my membership and they made it as smooth and as easy as possible for me. And now Im ready to enroll again with them especially after the kindness the nice gentleman showed me. I thank you so much for your empathy your help and for giving us such a wonderful place to escape to and improve ourselves. God bless you all. :)
