When I required assistance with my membership, Paul handled everything promptly, was able to explain all options clearly, and helped me decided what membership best fit my family. He is consistently a welcoming and reliable presence at this gym, helping create a positive and welcoming environment.
The facility could be quite a bit cleaner and some equipment is outdated and/or out of service. Despite a few areas that could be improved, the dedication of the sales staff and the quality of the personal trainers make this location stand out.

I really enjoy all of the Aqua Fit instructors at LA Fitness in Oviedo. It's great that LA Fitness offers Aqua Fit classes Monday through Friday with a variety of instructors. They are all fantastic! Bianca teached Monday and Friday classes. I highly recommend her classes. Bianca also teachs Zumba during the week. And that is a high energy, fun class too. I'm very thankful that LA Fitness in Oviedo is close to my house a clean, and friendly gym. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Haven't been to this location in about 2 years, now I'm back cause of work, and the same problems as last time I was here. Like every gym there is an evening crowd, no problem make it work. The problem at this location is to many high school kids in the evening (guess their parents give them a membership and they use the gym as a daycare) but when they're on the pull up machine wrapping their legs around their friends neck and constantly horseplaying with weights and goofing off it makes for an unsafe workout environment. Using the dumbbells on the dumbell rack as a seat while they talk on the phone or chat with thier friends and look at you like your crazy when you need a weight or have to go around them smh. Unless coming here is just convenient because of the location do your self a favor and go to another location.

I’ve been a member at this LA Fitness location for a while and overall I enjoy the gym, but I’m disappointed with the condition of the spa. The jet water has not been working for at least three months, and even before that, the jets were always very weak.

Relaxing in the spa after a workout is one of the reasons I joined, so it’s frustrating that it’s been out of service for so long with no updates or clear timeline for repairs.

Can the management please provide an update or estimated time for when the spa jets will be fixed? It would make a big difference for members who rely on it for recovery and relaxation.

Well, the locker room is nasty, showers are not clean, locker in need of repair and after telling three different people nothing was ever done which is a safety hazard. Jets in the whirlpool are very weak and this was let down due to the fact that was an amenity I really wanted. One reason the locker room is so nasty is the members. They go in the sauna and then leave the and sit on benches dripping their sweat on the bench and floor ( I realise this is a member issue which should be addressed). Most get up and walk away and some wipe it down but leave the paper towel. Sick. If this is the case someone should clean the area every 30 mins or so or at least and enforce a rule of cleanliness. When I canceled my membership I was not asked why or anything. Poor management/professionalism there. If I owned a company I would like to find out why someone is leaving. I was treated as, if “I do not matter” and a “I don’t care if you leave” attitude but signing up I was treated like a king. Well I will never recommend LA Fitness (Oviedo). Really, I should get my money back just for stupidity of neglecting the safety issue. Oh well, lawsuits are always potential with neglect. Be advised.

Went here for almost 3 years and made killer gains. Had to rate 2 stars because the machines are all outdated, falling apart, break constantly, all the weights are rusted and the cardio machines look like they're on their last leg. Needs complete overhaul in equipment and a HUGE wipe down. The barbells here have ruined several of my brighter gym shorts. I just swapped over to crunch for a third of the cost and more hours. The trainers are excellent here, just bad equipment and maintenance.

I noticed there were no American flags anywhere inside or outside the gym on Veterans Day. I asked the manager Derek if we could get a flag up he said he didn’t have one so I donated a flag. After two weeks The flag was put up in a space where you’d really have to look for it or know that it’s there to even see it. I find this very disheartening very unpatriotic.

Way past time for improvements at this facility. Bicycles outdated, ellipticals are rusted. Always at least 1 or 2 stair climbers down. They get repaired then a week later down again. Oviedo LA Fitness is only a mile from my house and no other large gym in the area. It is the worst LA in Central Florida. The pool has been closed for 2 months as they await quotes for a simple pool pump, they had 5 stair steppers, down to 4 which constantly break. All the machines are rusted and rundown to the point to where they consistently have an out of order not on them. They are the original equipment from when the location first opened up 20 years ago.

They fired the best cleaner and now the gym is dirtier than ever, no paper towels/toilet paper constantly, glass/mirrors all dirty around gym.
This gym needs new management and stop firing the ones that actually work. The turnover is the worst of any gym that I have been a member of. LA this is a wake up call.

Very overpriced for the type and quality of equipment they provide, with some equipment leaving you covered in rust. Hours are also very restrictive and they charge $20 for a day guest pass. I am also very disappointed that even though I pay $20 a month extra for the ability to bring a guest I was denied bringing the same guest twice in one day and was turned away when I tried to return to use the sauna.

The Oviedo LAF is the most nun down gym I have ever been to. I have been a member of this gym for about 2 1/2 years now and the only reason why I continue to hold a membership is because I go out of my way to other locations. But at the end of my term, I’m definitely going to look for a membership elsewhere.
Where should I start? Four out of five stair steppers don’t work at all times. All the machines are rusted and rundown to the point to where they consistently have an out of order not on them.
The cleanses at the gym is not too bad, and most of the stuff are friendly.
