It’s 15 dollars for a solid rope pull down attachment on Amazon. The machines operate fine, but imagine the difference some new cable attachments, the things our hands touch, would make.

I also love how my fav basketball court has been closed for over a year. One of my absolute favorite perks when I joined, gone. I pray enough people complain for SOMETHING to happen with this space. What will it take?! If our 50 dollar memberships can’t help can we get a go-fund-me going?! LA Fitness is a huge corporation like somebody please help!!!

I have been going to this gym for years, same equipment since opening day. Machines are rusty, broken and dirty. It smells like mold. I asked a manager recently if they have plans on getting new equipment and she looked at me like I was crazy. Treadmills are loud, half of them don't work and most of the buttons are useless. Ellipticals are falling apart, rusted and dirty. They got rid of all of the hand sanitizers and now supply sanitized wipes that are probably just soaking in water. Would be great if they used our dues on updating the place instead of just adding more money to their wallets. It's starting to feel like Wallmart, just going in their and walking around you need a shower afterwards.

Regrettably, I’ve been a member of this LA Fitness for about a year. I have a few issues with the gym:
1. The gym is unsanitary. There is no hand sanitizer stations in the entire gym (accept 1 that never has sanitizer in it) and there is limited equipment sterilizing wipe stations.
Unlike other LA Fitness gyms they do not have a water filter station, they use good ol’ water fountains, the water that comes from water fountains typically contains bacteria and can cause users to become sick.

2. The vast majority of the equipment is outdated or needs to be fixed. Here are two of many examples:
a. There are about 18 treadmills, at any given moment 9 of them either don’t work at all or the speed/incline buttons don’t work. All of the treadmills need to be updated.
b. Many of the seat adjusters or cable pulleys do not work properly.

3. Part of my monthly fee includes access to the basketball court. However, for the last 11 months or so the basketball court has been closed because the floor needs to be redone. As someone who joined the gym to have access to a basketball court, it is a shame that management has not made it a priority to fix the court so paying customers can utilize it.
Given it has been such a long period of time and no action has been taken, I should receive a monthly discount for every month I don’t have access to this part of the gym (that I pay for).

My husband and I went to the gym to sign up for a Family Membership and we asked for two things: 1) Family Membership and 2) We could access different gyms in different times because of our schedules. After one week going to the gym at 5am, an employee at the gym in West Palm Beach stopped me and said I could access that gym because my membership doesn’t allow it, I really thought it was a miscommunication but then going back to Palm Beach Gardens we found out that Kabir, who sold us the “membership” actually made it as a local gym only even it was really clear our necessity to have access to at least two gyms as I live in West Palm Beach. They said they would figure this out and get back to us, today has been 8 days I can’t access the gym but funny that all the payments went through. I already tried calling, e-mailing and sounds like nobody can help me. Very frustrating!

The basketball court has been closed down for almost a year… they don’t even have an idea when work will be started on it.

Also, if you like showing up at 8 AM when they open during the weekends, be prepared to sit in your car while the kid who is in charge of opening shows up anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour late.

I normally do not do this but, I will just start with the gym got what you need to workout everything. This gym is overran by geriatric men in diapers. Many times you need to sit and twiddle your thumbs because I was taught respect but they sit down on the machine and just want to talk to their buddy about water workouts and pickle ball. Many times they are not even working out they just congregate and talk. Today there was a guy about 75 years old. Doing abs, back, and hid the only bar we have for lower back under his bag. Once again I was taught respect but it’s getting hard to not snap on this men. This is what happens when people don’t get slapped back in line.

USE EXTREME CAUTION TO SIGN UP. I signed up for a guest pass to check it out which I was highly considering it and tried it out for a day and have received multiple phone calls daily. NOT curtious over the phone for whoever is calling for guest passes uses broken english, is short, abrupt and when I asked for her name she actually hung up on me after multiple phone calls. I spoke to others about it and Im not the only one. Gym is not in use and outdated equipment which I could live with if people realize that kindness goes a long way.

LA Fitness in Palm Beach Gardens is excellent. I went in a few weeks ago and met with Latoya. Latoya is fantastic! She showed me around and explained the membership options thoroughly. After visiting several other gyms, I made the decision to join. I went back to see Latoya and the sign up process was easy and straight forward. I really enjoy my time at this location. It has all of the equipment I need and several of the most popular items so there is usually no wait time. It is a large gym with plenty of space. I’m very happy with LA Fitness in PBG.

If you are considering the LAFitness SilverSneakers (ChairYoga) class on Fairview, don't bother. It was a waste of my time and $. First, they do not have enough chairs for all participants. I (along w others) had to stand in the rear throughout the class. The room is very crowded. I paid for SilverSneakers(which requires a chair), however I did not get a chair bec there are not enough chairs(they only have 25). When I complained to the girls at the front counter, their only suggestion was "come real early." They had no interest in assisting me. Seems they pack people into the class to make $, but do not give you your money's worth. Second, the instructor is VERY VERY LOW IMPACT and appears to have a disconnect or lack of interest in her class/participants. It's more like a P.T. rehab session for elderly who are in need of rehab. I've since found an excellent SilverSneakers class at LA Fitness on Northlake Blvd. The instructor (Sonya) is very pleasant, enthusiastic, energetic, and connected with her class/participants. And, there are enough chairs for all participants. I highly recommend Silver Sneakers at the LA fitness facility on Northlake Blvd.

Went in for a membership consultation, was not greeted upon walk-in but I get it, it's a gym. Was disappointed with the initial greet then I met with Dan who called twice to set up a 1:30 but when I sat he told me it was for 2pm, played it off cool then he proceeded to go thru a list of dated resume thinking I was there for an interview( I was well dressed and on my lunch break). Anyhow he proceeded with his tour and pitch and when I was questioning the pricing, his demeanor changed and and quickly rushed me out of his office. This gym has the oldest equipment I have ever seen. Doesn’t look like they have updated things in over 20 years. I have been going for months in hopes they would get better but no. It’s worse every time I come in. Something is always broken and the women's bathroom is always so dirty. Staff is always changing and none of them know the answers to questions about the facility. There doesn’t seem to be any real managment. There is a greater at the front that almost never greets you. Just trying to save people time and money.

Do not join this LA Fitness. There has been no air conditioning in the Fitness classes for months. REBECCA OR BECCA gave me false information, told me that she was going to give me the $45 membership for only $10 a month and to not tell anybody or she would get fired.

She forged my signature on the contract which clearly read $45 per month, which I never agreed to since she told me it would be $10 per month for the gym membership.

This is a perfect combination of a good quality, clean, well managed gym with amenities (saunas, pool, racquetball, basketball, yoga classes, spin, free weights, hammerstrength machines - etc.) LA Fitness is moderately price with many locations. This is the only place I get to completely release. I can escape my family, ever since Covid they have just been around way more and I don’t get any piece and quiet. It’s a nice place to go see your sneaky link when your husband is at work. It has a nice hot tub and also daycare.
