Today the pool was closed to be cleaned that is understandable. Recently the Hot tub has been descusting!last week a man was in the pool with his young daughter,I heard and saw him tell her put her chewed up gum on the side of the pool with his,when they got out of the pool their was two large chewed up pieces of gum waiting for someone to step on , shortly after as I was relaxing in the pool a very dirty elderly man strolled past me carying a dirty tourn backpack He was filthy with matted hair and smelt very bad he also looked to be drunk he was wearing a long white T shirt, shorts that were falling off of him they were stained with old brown and yellow Urine from the back of shirt from the shoulders down he got into the hot tub with everything on I thought he was going to fall in.I had enough and left. While I was leaving I stopped at the desk and explained what I saw and I was concerned that the old man would drown he was the only one in the pool area and alone. A week befor this A man with long dread locks was puting his head under water Rubbing his head I waited for him to leave befor I got in the hot tub , when I stepped in the hot tub hair weave was floating all in the water was.I Again told the front desk assistant she was very nice and explained that it would be cleaned in the morning.Today I got in the hottub and sat down my shoulders under water,I began to relax ,there was two couples in the hot tub when I got in ,they started laughing and hurring out of the hot tub they told me their was shit in the pool I quickly got out behind them but behold a few floating logs of human SHIT,floated by me befor I could even get out. I was litterly throwing up as I went and got the front desk asoiate to show her, she was upset as well apologized to me and told me she would tell her manager and make sure the hot tub was closed drained and cleaned .I went back the next day and saw the hot tub was opened and ready for use.After speaking with a few different associates who had been working all day none were aware of Hot tub being cleaned,I spoke to the Manager who was there all day as well She told me that the poop in the hot tub was last month and she took care of it,as I argued that it was yesterday and there was other hazeris complaints made she called the store associate that was working yesterday,and then was informed that it was in fact yesterday. This lead me to believe that the Hot tub was never cleaned.More needs to be done We the public trust that LA Fitness has pride,respect and cares for their members for what is to be a Gym to get healthy and stay healthy, not one to get sick It is a public place I don't understand why a camra or a large mirror can not be installed at least the guest will know they are there and maybe will be a little more respectful and clean.

Spent $40 round trip UBER. I need water therapy after two shoulder surgeries. The one in my neighborhood lacks Steam Room and Sauna although we were lied to repeatedly it would gave. These people DO NOT FOLLOW ESTABLISHED PROTOCOL to use a Sauna. Same for their Steam Room (advertised at this location but there is none)!!! I come to get healthy, not to smell someone’s sweat and dirt. Tired of complaining and getting nowhere.

It has been almost more than 6 months since I visited la fitness for my membership, and every time I went with my Medicad card, I get turned down, but as I come in today, a young gentleman named Krystian helped me with my membership, I highly encourage authorities to treat Medicare patients with respect as they would with a regular member.

First time I went to this gym. I have to say this gym has pretty much everything u need to get the body u want. lots of weights and machines. Now reason why I gave it 4 stars because why are all the dumbells not place in order,? it took me like 2 min for me to find the other 60ib all because is disorganized and scattered on the floor. if only at a minimum please have the weights put in order I'll be easier to work on and find it too. A good gym like that one should be organized that's all. and also bathroom quite dirty too. Just improve with making sure put dumbells back in order and more organized that's all. the littlest things can make big difference.

For $50 a month you would expect the weights to be put up and in place, and someone from the front desk making rounds- to put away random weights that are far from the freeweight section as well as to prevent someone from tripping over it when it's obviously not being used. The minimal two stations to wipe down your equipment makes it easier for people to not wipe the equipment- since it's a far walk. They already don't put weights in their, so if you think they'll make an effort to walk half the gym to get a wipe, good luck.
They have interesting equipment, good variety. 4 squat racks. They have a ton of cardio and a pool which is great. The staff seemed super friendly. I just wish the gym was more upkeept for the price.

This LA fitness off pines and university is absolutely disgusting. Weights are never put back, old ass machines that are rusted, torn cushions, no spray bottles, the filtered water has been broken for months, the water fountain is not that cold, some of the machines have the stickers of the amount of weight you’re adding torn off. You will spend most of your time looking for weights than working out. This has to be the dirtiest LA fitness with the laziest staff who are on their phones all day. Do not come to this location.

I recently visited this LA Fitness location as a local business owner looking to introduce a potential vending partnership. I walked in professionally and respectfully asked to speak with a manager about my business inquiry. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

Simon a staff members was unnecessarily rude from the beginning. When I asked to speak with the manager, he responded in a dismissive and condescending manner, telling me I could “speak to a manager all I want” but that “it wouldn’t change anything.” Despite my patience, the manager Geo never came out to speak with me—even after I waited nearly 30 minutes.

What made the situation more frustrating was that I was told LA Fitness doesn’t do business with vending machine owners, while I could clearly see vending machines already present in the facility. When I politely pointed this out, Simon shrugged and said, “Well, we already have one anyway,” in a very rude tone.

This wasn’t about race or discrimination in my opinion, it was simply poor professionalism and a lack of basic courtesy. As a small business owner, I always approach potential clients with respect, and I expected the same in return.

Even if my proposal wasn’t something they were interested in, I deserved to be treated with decency. I hope this feedback encourages LA Fitness to better train their staff on professionalism and how to treat members of the community who come in with legitimate business inquiries.

At around 6 in the morning, the music was blasting louder than a club on South Beach. I asked the front desk if the volume could be lowered, but I was casually informed that it was automatic and there was no way to adjust it. The equipments are good, but cleanliness and organization could be improved. The space for benches is quite tight, and there is no dedicated area for free exercises. The gym is often very crowded. The bathroom has lockers, but the shower drain was clogged and there was an unpleasant odor, suggesting that cleaning may not be done as often as needed.
I attended the functional training classes, which are good, but the overall hygiene, especially the persistent smell of sweat, significantly impacts the experience.

While swimming laps, 10minutes before the aqua class was going to start the people in the class were moving the lane line with no regard for me as I was swimming laps. I understand there is an aqua class at 9am but there is no need to move the lane lines before the instructor even gets to the pool. The people in the class had no respect or consideration for others that were swimming laps. Totally disappointed in the people in the aqua class.

this Lady from the kickbocking class (Saturday at 8;30) and bike class, her name is Lucy. She is very rude, and does not know how to talk to people. I was trying to get some steps from the studio, and even though she was right to express to me, not to do that in the middle of her class, she did not talk to me the right way. She came out to me in a aggressive way by raising her voice and talking to me with an attitude like Im her daughter. And again even if is right that’s not the way to communicate. She said I can’t go in her class to interrupt, I agree, I was just getting steps for the exercise I do in the gym I paid for it every month! But again, she can not be talking to people like that, this is not the shopping center, this is at her job!

MANAGER JOCELYN- incredibly irresponsible and unable to accept fault on behalf of her employees mistakes - resulting in financial fraud. In December 2024, I cancelled my membership in person with a rep at the front desk. In January of 2025, I began receiving phone calls that I had an unpaid balance on my account.

I promptly went in person to find out more about the situation and was told that the person who handled my cancellation hadn’t done so properly and that there was nothing they could do. There is a balance on my account due to the negligence and financial irresponsibility of their staff.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone who is in the market for fair treatment. It seems ludicrous that I would be responsible for a balance that was inquired over an employee mistake.

I had an amazing experience here at L.A. Fitness due to the amazing attentiveness from one of their staff members Jaylene.
She made getting started with my membership very easy, running me through all the best options available that were best for me and what I wanted.

The place is always clean, they have a lot more stuff than other LA Fitness I've visited before, I started with a free pass to see what the atmosphere was like, I wasn't sure about staying at the beginning since I had bad experiences at another place several years ago with the staff, but I decided to stay and I love it, Giovanni is definitely the best employee at this place, always very kind, respectful, charismatic, he asks how your day was and always with a good vibe of energy, the spinning trainer is super cool I don't remember his name but it's the best Spinning class I've been to, the cleaning staff does their job very well and also very respectful and kind, I see that they constantly clean the floor to prevent sweat from causing slipping accidents and they keep the bathrooms and saunas clean, there is always paper towels and soap as it should be. Everything seems great to me regarding the equipment, the only thing I would like to make a recommendation is that I think it should be like this in every gym or locker room or public bathroom that one goes to and that is that I see that there are many girls taking videos, making video calls and taking photos in the locker rooms and bathrooms, I know that this is not the place's fault since each member should respect these areas but the other day a girl was leaving the shower while another person was on a video call and even once I was changing my shirt and something similar happened, the point is that at least there should be a sign within the bathroom rules that says that this is not allowed because when the girl argued this the other person got upset and insulted her like she can do whatever she wants. But I think that everyone should respect the bodies of others and no one would like to appear in photos or videos of people that we don't even know and who haven't asked for our permission.

Great atmosphere! The managers are the best, Giovanni in particular is so helpful. He helped show me all the places in the gym as well as showed me how to do new exercises on the machines i didnt know how to use. Best gym ever!

Es excelente la organización y la limpieza de este lugar. Lo mejor de todo es el servicio espectacular que te otorgan los integrantes de este LA FITNESS, nunca había estado en un gimnasio donde un experto se sienta contigo y te ayuda a entender en que situación física estás hoy en día y te indican exactamente lo que tienes que hacer para alcanzar tu meta, eso me gusto muchísimo, tengo muchos dolores en mis piernas y en mi columna, pero sé que aquí lograré mejorar bastante y sentirme mejor. I went to work out at 10 pm, knowing the gym closed at 11 pm (I was just planning to do some cardio). But the way they kicked everyone out was awful. By 10:50, they were already pushing us to leave. It felt like the LA Fitness staff were treating us like prisoners — I never thought I’d experience something like this here. They rushed us out with clapping. Extremely, extremely disappointed. I really hope my feedback is taken into account and that something is done about the staff there.

I went to La Fitness today for a trail to see how I would like this gym. Giovanni was super helpful and informative. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked into the gym. Normally I have gym anxiety but his welcoming presence helped to ease that feeling. I am now an official member of La Fitness as of today thanks to Giovanni.
