After sharing our experience, I noticed a wave of overly positive reviews that felt more like damage control than genuine reflections. It’s disappointing to see attempts to invalidate what we went through. Kids will be kids — but when it comes to physical aggression and ongoing “mean girl” behavior toward my daughter, it’s a no for me.

And for Black families who might be wondering — yes, your instincts are likely right.

We had a disappointing experience as a new family at this gym. From the start, we were given conflicting information about the tryout process, which almost kept my daughter from joining the team. Once she did, she was slapped by another teammate during practice. After reporting it, nothing was done, and she was pushed by the same girl at the next practice.

Despite bringing this to the coaches’ attention, the situation was not handled with urgency. Instead, we felt dismissed and told the other child hadn’t had problems in years — as if that made our concerns less valid. As a parent, I expected better communication, accountability, and a sense of safety for my child. Sadly, we didn’t find that here.

Giggling Guppies are so fun and we have been going for the past few years! Drop in classes are nice with toddlers since these little humans are unpredictable and I cannot always commit to a scheduled class

We’ve been a part of this amazing gymnastics family for over two years now, and I truly can’t say enough great things about this gym. From day one, the staff has treated us like family—always friendly, incredibly supportive, and genuinely invested in every child who walks through their doors.

My daughter is on the competition team and has big dreams of becoming a world-class gymnast. Thanks to the coaching, training, and encouragement she’s received here, I can honestly say those dreams could some day be a reality. The coaches not only build strong athletes but also strong, confident individuals.

On the rare occasion we had an issue—just once with another child because unfortunately, kids will be kids—it was addressed professionally and immediately, with care and transparency. That level of responsiveness and respect is just one example of how seriously they take their role in each athlete’s journey.

If you’re looking for a gym that goes above and beyond, this is the one. We’re so grateful to be part of this incredible gymnastics family!

Legacy Gymnastics Center is excellent. From the day my daughter joined the Xcel Bronze program, I have seen the coaches prioritize building confidence and teaching the athletes to trust the process. Over the next two years, my child grew stronger, both physically and mentally, progressing to Xcel Gold with determination and excitement.
My child gained the skills needed to advance while maintaining enthusiasm for every practice and competition. My favorite observation is seeing how the girls cheer each other on. During a birthday celebration, new acquisition of a skill, or hitting a clean routine, the girls celebrate one another! If you're looking for a gym that cultivates skill, strength, and passion, Legacy Gymnastics Center is the place to be!

Legacy is amazing! My daughter has gained so much confidence on top of improving skills while being on the competitive team. The entire coaching staff is incredible! The owner & head team coach have worked really hard to create a healthy gym culture. Each athlete is encouraged, challenged, and loved well. The coaches have a “whole person” approach and truly care about the physical and emotional health of each athlete. Legacy has been one of the best things to happen to my daughter. Every single coach, rec and team, have taken the time to get to know her and see the potential in her. I am forever grateful to be a part of Legacy gymnastics and am so excited to continue to watch my daughter thrive!

We hosted our 4 year old’s birthday party at Legacy, sight unseen and I was blown away with how helpful, organized, and kind their entire staff was - from booking to clean up, they answered all of my questions so quickly, helps us unload and get the party room ready, kept the kids engaged, and even helped us tidy up afterwards.

The kids had such a great time, and they loved the obstacle course, and of course the rope swing into the foam pit. We’ve had parties at other venues and this was by far the most seamless and organized from start to finish - we can’t thank you enough!

My daughter is currently enrolled in this gymnastics and has been there for over a year recently my wife brought her service dog to the gymnastics and was denied entry. They stated she needed to present documentation when in the state of Florida it is against the law to ask for documentation. my wife would of gladly presented it however she was unable to due to the gymnastics crew being uncooperative with her so instead the service animal had to leave. Also There was another incident where my child mentioned she had to throw up on the floor the floor manager mentioned she had to sit down for 5 minutes then stated she said 10 minutes therefore for my daughter lost the rest of her class I find it very unprofessional the need of an adult to change up there stories when others were around who heard what was said. I don’t recommend this gymnastics to others they cut 10 minutes of each class time there isn’t any new structure being brought to the class the students are doing repetitive assignments I am very unsatisfied with the service I have received at this gymnastics and the money contributing to this business.

We have been part of Legacy Gymnastics Center for the past 2.5 years, and it has been an incredible journey for my daughter. She started as an Xcel Silver and is now training at Level 7/8, thanks to the outstanding guidance and support she has received here.
The coaches at Legacy Gymnastics Center are truly amazing and supportive. Their dedication, expertise, and encouragement have been instrumental in my daughter's growth and development in gymnastics. They not only focus on building strong technical skills but also foster a positive and supportive environment that helps the athletes thrive.
Head Coach Jasmine deserves special recognition for her exceptional leadership and coaching. Her ability to inspire and motivate the gymnasts is truly remarkable. She has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the sport, which has been pivotal in my daughter's progression to higher levels.
Owner Bobby has created a remarkable facility where athletes can pursue their passion and achieve their goals. His commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the gym. The family-friendly environment he has fostered makes everyone feel welcome and part of a close-knit community.
The administrative staff is equally praiseworthy. They are always friendly, organized, and ready to assist with any queries or concerns. Their efficiency and professionalism make the administrative processes smooth and hassle-free. Communication at Legacy Gymnastics Center is excellent. We are always kept well-informed about schedules, events, and any changes. This transparency and proactive communication make it easy for us to stay engaged and plan accordingly.
Overall, Legacy Gymnastics Center has been an outstanding experience for us. We have been looking for somewhere for our 18 month old to go and have tried a couple different gyms. We came to Legacy because they were cheaper than others for a non-structured class. I was very disappointed though due to there being SO many kids/parents there. It made it very hot inside and not enjoyable, not to mention a few kids not being properly supervised.
I understand at this age it's more of play time and getting familiar with the equipment but there should be a cut-off as to how many people can attend so the coach can actually interact with the children and the "warm-up" that was mentioned in the description consisted of a 30 second dance.
This location was also extremely small making it a nightmare to move around and collect belongings when it was time to go.
I guess I should've expected this since it's only $10 for the class but I think I'd rather pay the higher price to have a more personalized experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. My daughter Zhaelori really loved the 5 year old classes, the coaches were amazing and knew how to work with kids. Unfortunately we had to moved out of the area for a year but now we are back and my daughter has been begging me to put her back in this gym so I will be giving them a call soon

Coaches are skilled and also kind and encouraging! So many high fives and the kids are always hugging their coaches. Coaching style is encouraging and motivating. My kiddo loves going to gymnastics everyday. Small but that makes it like a family. Parents can hear and see everything because they are right there on the floor in the parent section.

We switched gyms and started at Legacy a few years ago. Our daughter competes on team and our son loves going to the giggling guppies class. The coaches are incredible and sincerely care for each and every athlete. It’s incredible to watch the amount of love, commitment, and encouragement they pour into these kids - both in and out of the gym. It’s common at meets to see the coaches encouraging the girls before their routine and giving them hugs after, no matter what the outcome is. The coaches understand each girls individual strengths and weaknesses and work with each one to help them succeed. The family culture the owners and coaches have fostered is truly something special. We can’t say enough great things about Legacy and the amount of gratitude we have for the owners, coaches, and staff.

They do not offer gymnastics for boys. My son was very excited to get started and this facility had the best ratings. I appreciate Ana for taking my call before they opened but no reason for why they don't offer it just pushed me over to another company. Hopefully they'll consider training all children in the future.

I got the opportunity to have my daughter tryout for team at Legacy. I have to say I was beyond impress with everyone at Legacy including the coaches for xcel programs and the owner of the gym. Yes, I got to meet the owner in person the very first time I visited the gym. She (the owner) was very down to earth and honest of her expectations of the athletes and parents. The place as a whole is so family friendly and the kids seem happy to be working out there.
We got coach Courtney to evaluate my daughter and she was phenomenal!! My daughter loved her from the start, she was very detailed, good communicator and knowledgeable. She took from her personal time to follow up with us, answer questions...and there were many!
The gym is clean and the staff is great. There is a coach for bars, a coach for beam and another for floor where other gyms have 1 coach for everything. Our one downside was the location was a bit of a drive for us. If you are considering team for your daughter this is a great gym.

This place is excellent. My niece came the first time and was fearful and crying, she didn't want to try anything. One of the owners and the teachers were so supportive and she finally decided to give it a try. By the end of the trial she was asking me to bring her back everyday. There Is individualized attention despite there being so many kids in the classes. The safety measures are great both COVID-related and in terms of the routines. My niece is more confident thanks to God and these classes. Susana, one of the owners is so helpful and nice. I truly like and recommend this place. It is worth it.

We have really enjoyed the drop in Tues/Thursday 2 year old class! My toddler always enjoys the obstacle course that changes weekly! We love that we have met new friends and really enjoy the teacher! I highly recommend the class to everyone!

I really like how they teach the kids, my only concern is one that most people might not think to write about. There is the strongest asphyxiating smell of cheap air freshener right when you come in their compound that is almost unbearable for me and my daughters. I am sure all parents feel this... I think it must not be safe for kids to be exposed to this everyday and would suggest using dehumidifiers and things like baking soda for and foot smell that kids might leave when practicing. This is just constructive criticism not a bad review! Thanks!
