I don't like being scammed by anyone. I went to the gym 3 times to cancel my membership and I keep getting the run around. (The owners not here, We can't do it on a Friday, bla bla bla) I was told they wouldn't charge me anymore and yet they keep charging my credit card after I cancelled my membership. This is unbelievable. Now no one will call me back and I was told yesterday I need to come in again but I've already relocated out of state.

What a sham. Obviously need to call the better business bureau and leave a few more negative reviews so maybe a few other people can avoid them and save the headache I'm going through

I have been coming to this gym for almost Two years, and I normally wait this long to leave an honest review. I enjoy the privacy of this gym and the equipment is well maintained. The members here are focused on working out, not socializing which is refreshing. As somebody who has been training for over 16 years, I’ve been to many gyms but this one is the best I’ve trained at in Palm Beach County.

The gym is very physically cramped, the equipment is very worn and old and dirty, and when I went the AC was running pretty hot.

If you just want the equipment, go for a youfit or something, it's a better use of your money.

I’ve been working out for decades across the east coast. Settled in South Florida and found level X and badda-bang…. I got a gym that reminds me of when I used to work out many years ago. The owner seems to be a really nice guy, very accommodating.
To me personally, this seems to be the best gym a 50 mi.² radius.

This is such a great neighborhood gym! Great vibe and the owner is super nice. You can’t beat the prices and they have FANTASTIC classes! Trainers seem very knowledgeable and professional and I see a lot of people using their services and getting results. I’m so happy there and I recommend them to anybody and everybody!

I usually don't read reviews. But, for some reason I decided to read the reviews of the gym that my husband has been going to for years, my son recently started going to and I rejoined. I noticed the negative reviews and could not disagree more. The owner is so friendly and all of the staff are extremely friendly as well. The equipment is good. I have never seen it dirty as mentioned in one of the reviews. I think its a great gym! I would recommend to anyone looking for a gym.

Men’s sauna has been broken the entire time that I’ve had my membership which is at least since October. After hours from like 9-12pm the AC is off in the gym making it ridiculously hot inside. This gym needs some love for sure in the area of cleaning and general attention from management/owner. If they can workout the flaws then I’ll gladly return to being a patron.

Couldn't help but notice some bad reviews bringing down the average rating of this fantastic gym. I had to give my 2 cents and help spread some positivity.

I've been a member for over a year now. When I moved to West Palm Beach, I was simply looking for a gym that had the weights/equipment I needed and open at all hours of the day. Thankfully, I came across Level X and found exactly what I wanted. The gym operates 24/7, so I can get my workout in whenever it is convenient for me. The equipment is above adequate and regularly kept clean. Unless you're Ronnie Coleman, the available weights will be more than enough to keep you in excellent shape. On top of all that, the membership fees are affordable. I am a very happy customer and will continue to exercise at this gym for as long as it remains in business!

Love the Sunday fitness class at 9 AM. The place is a bit unclean and very little equipment. Needs an uplift and more classes at 5:30 PM not just a ton of cycle classes. Owner needs to diversify what classes are given members. Time to get over the Covid-19 excuses

I just joined about a month ago and I really really like this gym!! All the ppl in it are super nice and there never seems to be any Judgy Judie's while you are working out, like you usually see in many gym's. I feel comfortable working out at my own pace just trying to focus on being healthy.

The childcare that they offer is really a life saver and allows this crazy busy mom the ability to have a few mommy minutes to myself and allow me to work out and destress and I love that it is included in the monthly price, makes it a very affordable option in the area.

The gym is always clean and the people working out all respect each other's space during this pandemic..

Owner is always on site and available for help or questions also, which is really nice. I am really happy with my choice of gym!

The gym itself is nice. But they have a private trainer who gives lessons here Jimmy Lionheart who promised services and went back on his word and refuses to give a refund. Please make sure to get in writing because he is not trustworthy. His comment when I tried to speak
To him in a nice way. He texted me “screw you lady”. I have called the owner of the gym and waiting to hear if he is able to resolve my issue. Will follow up, hopefully the right and professional thing is done.

I have been a member here for over 3 years at this gym and coming from previous gyms i can tell you this is by far the best one I have joined. The owner Rich is probably the best gym owner I have ever met. He cares about his members and the gym. If you really want a great atmosphere and a peaceful place to work out don't think twice if you are looking for somewhere to exercise.

They offer several different exercise classes for all types of levels. The class instructors are educated in the field that they teach. The owner is always on site, he is very helpful in explaining the facility, and makes you feel welcome. The monthly membership price is reasonable for all incomes. They also have a children's play area that can be used when you are in a fitness class or working out in the main area. The owner makes sure that all machines and class area are wiped down and cleaned to make sure it is safe from covid-19. It is a great place if you are looking for a new fitness center/home.

This gym doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that I am used to, but I am loving my workouts there. It is never too busy and they have enough equipment to get the job done. The owner or guy that is always there walks around and is always cleaning the equipment which is appreciated with Covid. The people that workout there are friendly.

So you all know what you're getting into this is a very small gym, machines are way too close for comfort especially now. Bench press is so close to shoulder machine the bars hit each other if someone is using the opposite station. Almost all the equipment is severely outdated and needs to be replaced. Most of it is damaged or not calibrated correctly (i.e left handle on pulldown machine is lower than right side, chest press is off balance, etc.) Cardio equipment is a joke, again outdated, jerky treadmills, creaky old stairmaster. one of the machines says i cant raise the elevation because the battery is low. Men's bathroom is tiny, shocker, and the sauna room has been broken for about a year now....i was told it would be fixed before i joined. If you know how to work out (primarily with free weights) this gym will suffice but if you like personal space, and functioning machines this is NOT the place for you.

Reading the negative reviews, I suspect it is either competition, prissy people or snow flakes that can't handle a regular gym.

They gym is nice and equipped to fit your need of a total body workout. Haven't interacted with staff really, I tend to be like that. Signing up was easy and payed 2 months advance with no autopay/contract.

Lol, only thing wrong would be people really. I've seen the Instagram thot and the bro who uses the squat rack to curl(dude, just go to the preacher curl, people need to squat big boy weights). Guess that's where it might be small gym to some. When you trying to grind out your workout and people taking up space and time. But that's just my pet peeves.

Don’t waste your money on this, go to a real gym like 24 hour fitness or Anytime fitness. One that has knowledgeable staff and knows what they’re doing. There is such poor customer service here. I have active and fit direct and one of the managers was more interested in flirting and socializing than helping me, this was months ago. She assured me that it would all be handled after paying $5 for a new key card until one night when I tried to work out after hours and was disappointed. My key card would not work. The following morning when I called she told me she would call me back. She never did. I had to follow up and she told me to come in. When came in the same day and she had no idea who I was or that we even spoke. Got a new key card, it still doesn’t work. The owner is “always away”. That was what I was told when I registered and that’s what I was told again tonight. Not a quality gym. Keep looking. Poor management and poorly run. I wish I could cancel my membership but it’s paid for through Active & Fit Direct. Needless to say, I won’t be returning ever. If you actually pay for membership, go someplace else.

I have to say that this GYM is definitely one of the worst GYMs I have ever been in. I have had ENOUGH! Used to be called The ZOO! The equipment is extremely old and outdated. The treadmills never work right. The handle on the pull up assist machine is bent so you are not utilizing the proper form and can get hurt. The place is so small that it is hard to move around and if it is crowded you almost get weights dropped on your feet. The equipment is always dirty and the MOST ANNOYING about this Gym is that the owner uses a merchant that keeps CHARGING YOUR ACCOUNT 3 and 4 times a month. When you call to have it reversed it is always the same excuse. Sorry sir, My merchant processor is to blame! Really Guy? NO KIDDING!! This has happened several times. You would think that he would get a new merchant processor. This month they hit my account 4 times totaling over 100 bucks! Very annoying.. I'm DONE! Why would I pay almost 30 bucks a month for that place when I can pay 10 and 20 dollars for a gym that is HUGE with brand new maintained equipment and CLEAN! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!

I got a free 7 day pass and fell in love with this gym and the people that come here everybody is so helpful the owner is a really cool guy i work out before work with no problem they are open 24/7 they also have showers and a Sana I seen the other reviews
All I can say is try it for yourself you will love this place also they have free child care and they will train how to use the equipment they have a juice bar but I haven't seen someone use it but a Vending machine with protein drinks inside come try it for yourselves

When I signed up with them they were charging me a double membership, after a few weeks they did issue me a credit. I canceled my membership in December 2018 and I was told they need to charge me one more month which was fine. I check my bank and I see a gym charge on Feb 28 2019 so I called the gym and spoke with the owner and he says yes his system got compromised and I need to call my bank to dispute the charges. I personally think he should have handled that a bit different, I did not get any notice of the issue. He was of no help. Also the equipment there was very worn out and for the 26 a month as well as a yearly fee the gym should have been a bit more updated. If I could give them a negative star review I would. I also dropped of my son one morning and the girl didn’t even take my name or any info in case of emergency.

The best gym I've found since moving to South Florida. Its got that old school feel when ya walk in. Alot of older but very well up kept equipment as well as newer machines and nice selection of free weights.The best part is that most of the guys that I've met there are there to grind it out and not there for gym selfies and just to socialize.

Do not Join! BIG MISTAKE! After cancelling FOUR years ago I received a collection call from a Miami lawfirm.
You read that correctly...FOUR years ago.
They took double payments out of my account. Do you think I will ever get a refund?
It's easier to get divorced than to cancel this membership. I cancelled in person and was told it would be taken care of. Shame on me for believing them, but after four years!!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!

The Zoo Health Club in Royal Palm Beach has everything and so much to offer for the young to Senior Citizens. They give aerobic classes throughout the day and on weekends such as Yoga, Spin, Karate and, my favorite Zumba, and more. Plus they have a large staffed child care area with windows to the aerobics room so you can see your child as you take a class. It is the only gym in the area that is open 24 hours which is why I joined. I totally disagree with Jermaine and Julie's 1 star reviews. I joined this gym 2 1/2 years ago and the owner, Richard, and the entire staff are very friendly, helpful and well liked by all the members. Ask for Dede. She is a certified and highly educated personal trainer that knows everything there is to know about fitness and will help you reach your personal fitness goals. Recently they opened up the popular Zmoothie Bar where they sell water, protein shakes and vitamin water at a low price. Great protein drinks by the way. Overall, it's a small but awesome gym that gives you value for your money.

Terrible gym they are a shady operation. if you join the gym be prepared to be with them for the long haul they make it near to impossible to cancel your membership. If you do cancel your membership make sure you have the cancellation in writing. If you don't they will send your account to collections and pursue legal action against you. Don't be cheep and try to join them for the deal you will get burnt in the end! Plus there are way better gyms out there who run a honest business for the same if not better price. The name fits it perfectly, it's a zoo with no staff. Most of the equipment is broken and old, the free weights are all banged up and numbers scratched off, it's like they bought there equipment from gyms that went out of business across America. I worked out here for a month straight and was hoping to enjoy it but it's 26 a month and they have the balls to charge you a maintenance fee once a year. It sounded okay when I signed up but once I noticed machines being broke; for the entire month I worked out there I started thinking why they charge a maintenance fee and why there gym is just as expensive as LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness.

They have an abundance of cardio machines but every other one is broken and the pedals are loose (a real easy way to sprain an ankle). If your thinking of joining this gym hopefully you see this review and I can save you a hassle and complete waste of your time. If your looking for a 24 hour gym go visit 24 hour fitness before you sign with this one, I'm paying 27 a month for a gym I can be proud to be apart of.

This is truly a 10 dollar a month gym and they are getting away with murder by charging people 26. They also have issues canceling your membership and want to charge you another month after you cancel, a quick call the the bank fixed this for me and I recommend anyone having similar issues to do the same.

If I could give NO STARS I would. The Zoo itself is fine until you try to quit your membership then good luck. We quit in person and via fax but it was not accepted and they continued to charge my elderly fathers credit card. Repeat phone calls and having to go to an off website (because you can't cancel on their website and there is no links of information on their website). Even when you go to the off website you still have to make phone calls to find out where. So member be where once you sign up you can never leave.
As for the Zoo Health Club, you moved and made it hard for my elderly father to continue to go. Congratulations in still charging an elderly gentleman month after month when you knew he cancelled, I hope you all can sleep at night. So disgusted at the lack of caring and the need to make money.
