I’ve been training with Ken at Lift the Soul Fitness for a little over a year now, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. After turning 40 and spending most of my days at a desk job, I knew I needed to be more intentional about staying in shape — and Ken has been the perfect trainer to help with that.

Ken is not just a personal trainer - he’s a mentor and a friend who truly cares about the overall wellbeing of his clients. Over the past year, thanks to Ken’s guidance, I’ve achieved the best shape of my life, despite having no athletic background.
Ken’s workouts are always grounded in evidence and reason, based on his impressive understanding of anatomy and health science. If ever I wondered about an exercise, Ken would explain the muscles it targeted, his rationale behind the intensity and number of repetitions, and anything else I was curious about. Ken also taught me the value of consistency, as well as how to fight to make gains. In this way, his guidance strengthened me not only physically but mentally.
While Ken was my trainer, I always knew he was my friend first. He’s a genuinely kind, caring, curious, empathetic and sensitive person, to name just a few of his best qualities. He always listened and made me feel heard, never running low on hugs. This meant the environment in Ken’s gym was always welcoming. The emotional support and advice he’s provided me throughout our hundred-or-so sessions together has proven invaluable.
I stumbled into August of 2023 unsure about working out and personal training. Getting in touch with Ken and choosing to work with him after his free evaluation session was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. His impact on me extends far beyond fitness, and I can’t recommend him enough.

I have been doing personal training with Jackson for almost one year now, but when I walk into the gym both Jackson AND Ken are ready to kick my butt! I could go on and on about these two but a few key takeaways are as follows…
- No matter how your day is going you will never leave the gym without a smile on your face. It is such a welcoming and supportive environment. They have become family.
- They WILL succeed in turning you into a morning person if you are not. I used to hate waking up to workout but now I am the first to ask if we can train earlier!
- Your training is completely tailored to you! Your wants, needs, goals, etc. Bodies change and fluctuate constantly. Jackson fully understands this and plans our sessions accordingly.
- I have never felt more confident and strong!! Training with LTS fitness has improved my life immensely from the inside out!

I never really experienced one on one training until I came to lift the soul fitness. Being an athlete & training with other athletes it was always 5-7 of us training with one trainer. Therefore I never fully grasped the workouts I was doing. I’ve only been training one on one for a month or two now and there has been a noticeable difference from where I first started. Im more motivated to workout than I ever have been before & my mindset of working out is not fun has completely shifted because of this place. I’m forever greatful to lift the soul fitness for where it has gotten me in the short amount of time it has been.

I began training with Jackson at Phoenix fitness with my sister a few months ago. Since joining Phoenix, we have seen great results from only 2 DAYS of exercise a week. I saw muscles become prominent and my body looking slimmer in the matter of just a month. Not to mention how amazing the trainers are!!! You walk into that gym with your whole life on your back and leave so ready to try again. I have gone in several times, stressed out about life and left with this euphoric feeling of success. I came upon Lift The Soul Fitness about 3 or 4 months ago. My main reason for deciding to find a trainer was simply to get off the couch and be able to physically enjoy my retirement and to just get and feel more healthy. I’ve been working with Ken Duong and Jackson Ale at Lift The Soul ever since.
At 64, I’m probably one of their older clients but they make me feel like I’m their ONLY client. They are very attuned to what I want, what I need, and what my objectives are. And they are extremely knowledgeable in how to get me there. They quickly and easily adjust to my “daily aches and pains” - all the while pushing and encouraging me to accomplish my goals.
Lift The Soul Fitness is the most positive and upbeat training facility I’ve ever used. (My husband is constantly amazed that I haven’t once complained about working out). And their positivity is obviously infectious. From the moment I walk through the door, everyone I encounter there is happy and having fun - while working crazy hard.
The owner, Josh Gardner, Ken, and Jackson are three of the hardest working and enthusiastic young men I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. It is abundantly clear they are knowledgeable in, and dedicated to, helping their clients reach personal goals. But they’re also the sweetest, kindest and most fun guys I’ve met in a long time.

Ken & Jackson have done a fantastic job with our son. The goal over the last 8 months has been to get him as ready as possible for college sports. This required more than just traditional lifting. We needed for him to be put through exercises that make sense for him at his age, his height and the sport he is playing. These guys have done an awesome job with that, and the results are definitely visible. Our son has not only gotten stronger, but also more agile, quicker, more explosive, etc. The tremendous variety of specialized exercises these guys come up with is great. If you haven’t already tried out LTS, you’re definitely missing out! In the first month and half of my plan, I’ve already lost 7-8 lbs. Not only do they have a solid plan that they make for you, they make sure you’re actually executing on the plan! They check up on you on a weekly basis & even offer to do a whole workout with you if your time permits it. I highly recommend these boys 110%. Give them 1-2 hour of your day at the gym consistently & I promise you you’ll see results!
