Had an amazing session with Heather. I do not live in the area but went in with me sister. Heather made an entire program for me complete with links to YouTube videos explaining each exercise. She was amazing about explaining each move and how to correctly perform them I highly recommend them!!!

Outstanding personal training, very professional, with the proper education to help you achieve your maximum results based on your goals, and physical needs. Great staff, with outstanding customer service, and the proper education to tailor your training based on your specific needs. This is not the personal trainer studio which the personal trainers have obtained a certification on a weekend class, the staff is very well educated and can get you on the right path to a healthier you. I have been a professional in the fitness and sports nutrition industry for the last 31 + years and I can certainly say that this by far is the best place in the Tampa Bay area.

I am so glad we found Made Possible a few years ago. My husband and I both train there and have had various injuries to work through. The coaches are well versed in how to adapt exercises to accommodate the challenges we have had. All the coaches at Made Possible Training are professional, friendly, and pay attention to their clients form. Terrific Personal Training!! Very friendly, welcoming place for personal training. All the trainers are top notch and make sure you know how to do each exercise and how it helps your body. I have never liked training, but Made Possible makes it fun and keeps me engaged and motivated. Made Possible Personal Training is a team that excels at helping people recover from injuries and improve their physical fitness. I have been coming to Made Possible gym for 4 1/2 years. I love it! As a woman in my 50s, I am interested in staying strong so that I can stay active for many years.
I appreciate that the trainers make sure that I am lifting weights properly to avoid injury. I do have a few old injuries and so I also appreciate that they can modify a movement for me.

I, like many people, work out because I have to. I would much rather play sports, but that gets harder when you don’t have a team of people to play with! I get bored easily going to a gym or going to traditional classes. My husband and I found Made Possible Fitness six years ago and I have not been bored yet! Actually, Heather and Roger and the rest of the team create a fun and personalized environment that I look forward to and really enjoy. They put a lot of work and care into creating individualized workout plans that address specific needs of their clients and adjust on the fly when needed. Very happy to have found the team at Made Possible Personal Training. MPPT is different - their attention to detail on form and position while providing a spirit of friendliness, professionalism and enjoyment makes this a very special gym in a town with lots of gyms. I was referred by a professional colleague and it was the perfect addition to my plan to age healthy and in balance. Started training here almost 4 months ago. Wow! They have created personalized training routines for me that change every 6 weeks. They are very friendly and also make sure you maintain proper form. Definitely feel like I am seeing results as my strength has increased. This is mostly focused on strength training. What I also like is they are very aware of past injuries I have had and are focused on making sure any problem areas are not being unduly stressed. A very professional company that has guided a complete novice like me how to work out. Highly recommended!

Long overdue review for Made Possible Personal Training. Have been with them for over 5+ years now, and my husband also started going a few years ago. Such a wonderful local business and truly care about their customers. They listen to your fitness goals, work with any injuries/ ailments, and really push you to do better each session. Have a caring, judgement-free environment, but still hold you accountable - keep you wanting to come back week over week. Honestly their trainers & programs, have kept us the most consistent with working out & progressing than any other gym/ fitness routine - we have tried a bunch over the years! It all winds up being about walking. At the beach. In the water.
And “just standing still”.
One of our favorite things is to walk on the beach.
I was used to just walking on into the water and splashing around.
Getting older and 2 surgeries had an impact on my balance, a serious impact.
I found myself not able to walk very well, being off balance quite a bit.
And walking at the beach (physical/mental therapy) proved unsafe and I was easily knocked off balance.
Enter MPPT.
Following my introductory assessment, a specific & tailored workout plan was developed.
In the coming weeks, the focus was on my strength in general and my core specifically.
Getting into the routine was important as was getting to know and be known by the trainers.
As the staff got to know me better, and could gauge my progress, they kept updating my “profile”.
The training programs grew with my progress, with focus remaining on my needs.
The staff, as they grew to know me, were able to fine tune each workout session to assure my progress was measured and focused. The sessions are configured to change periodically to keep my interest level high.
The MPPT people (Heather, Roger, Taylor, Patrick, Sanya and Cole) have shown their dedication to me as an individual and I think one of the great points for these folks is that they just care about you.
It all winds up (for me) about walking. At the beach. In the water.
Just recently I was able to go TO our beach, and for the first time in almost 2 years, I was able to:
Walk on the beach without struggling to walk on the sand and bend down to pick up shells.
I was able to venture out into the water and enjoy the feeling of the water splashing on my legs.
AND I was able to just stand there, still and not moving to balance, and appreciate HOW FAR I’ve come and appreciate so much the help that the MPPT folks have provided to me.

I’m a former D1 athlete and I thought I knew everything when it came to working out with weights, bands, and cardio. As I got older, previous injuries were taking a toll on my body. As a competitive athlete, you push through, right??? For years, I watched the owner’s, Heather and Roger, work with several people in my condo association gym. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. If someone struggled with a specific exercise, they immediately adapted the task so they could finish and be successful. Proper technique was always key with them.
I took a leap and decided to workout at their gym, Made Possible Personal Training. When I came to them, I could hardly lift my left arm without pain. Now I know, my answer was not pushing through, but tweaking and/or adapting a couple things, and using PROPER TECHNIQUE. I can honestly say, it’s so refreshing to let go and TRUST them in their knowledge and ability take my overall MIND, BODY and FITNESS to another level. I have been coming to MPPT for about a year and this is the most consistent I’ve ever been with a fitness routine. It’s all thanks to the great coaching and support I receive. Workouts are designed to my level of fitness, which has improved significantly since when I started. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and able to modify movements to meet any needs (I get lower back pain sometimes and they are able to make changes to avoid any agitation and discomfort). The facilities are great and I feel very comfortable coming in and working out.

TL;DR - it’s a great gym and the staff is even better.
I’m not a personal trainer, but I have trained powerlifting with a competitive team, attended competitions, and have a decade of strength training experience.
If your goals are to learn correct technique, follow a comprehensive workout plan that is tailored to your lifestyle and goals, and a supportive hands on staff then you should sign up for this gym.
Personally I dread going to the gym, and that is most days. I love coming here.
The staff is kind, supportive, have an excellent technical knowledge for form, anatomy, and execution. It is always positive and a great experience.
If you’re a gym bro and you’re wanting to throw weight around recklessly and get all Walter Goggins while you check yourself out in the mirror and skip leg day because the only thing that matters for you are your chest and biceps, this is not the gym for you.

I have been using Roger for a personalized training programming plan for the last year and I can't recommend him enough. He is truly knowledgeable in the field and notices issues with my form that no other trainer has mentioned to me. He takes the time to understand my specific goals and creates a personalized plan for me. You can tell he genuinely cares about your progress, always checking in and providing encouragement along the way. The training space is also always spotless and clean, which I appreciate after being in several other (dirty) gyms. I quickly realized Made Possible was the place for me. I started at MPPT 10 weeks ago. I'm active, but I was not happy with my strength and endurance. I've tried workout routines at home, and I'm never disciplined enough to keep it going and make it a habit.
I'm so glad I started here! I look forward to working out now - seeing the trainers - and of course, Tootsie, the resident greeter and workout dog. I started with one-on-one training and transitioned to the semi 4 workouts, where you share the trainer's time with up to 3 other people.
I'm feeling stronger and I can see my body composition starting to change. I love the feeling of accomplishment after each workout. The trainers - Heather, Roger, Taylor, Patrick and Sonya - all offer a good blend of encouragement, enthusiasm, and teaching/correction to make sure you're using proper form.

I found a ton of value in doing hybrid 1:1 training with Roger! We'd initially go over the lifting plan he made at his gym then I'd use the intuitive app he set up to follow through on all my workouts. There were helpful explanation videos to watch for each exercise and it was simple to add my reps and weights. Roger was prompt to answer questions and sent friendly check-in messages as well (to keep me accountable)! I've had a knee injury in the past that he took into consideration too. I'd highly recommend working with him and his team! It's an investment you won't regret!

I have tried many personal trainers but MPPT far surpasses them all. I am athletic and after years of competitive tennis my shoulder movement was limited, and due to a leg injury, I was struggling. Having not working out beyond yoga and Pilates, I decided to tackle strength training at the behest of my daughter who found Made Possible Personal Training after a Google search. I had been experiencing severe knee pain due to arthritis. After 9 months, I am relatively pain free and loving the impact strength training has had on my life.
The trainers are fabulous—encouraging, empathetic, and highly competent. Programs are created to address my specific issues and are changed frequently to eliminate routine and accommodate my progression. The studio/gym is completely outfitted, clean, and intimate. Recently I became disenchanted with my trainer and decided that I needed to find someone more competent to help me get to the next level. My wife encouraged me to meet with Made Possible, but I resisted. I didn’t want to drive the extra distance to get there. Eventually I scheduled a session with Heather and I’m so glad I did. The team at Made Possible is the best! I have a hereditary balance condition that makes it difficult for me to stand let alone exercise. Such an amazing team. I love all the trainers. Everyone has such a positive attitude. As someone who struggled with significant weight gain, getting back into weight lifting and being active again was absolutely daunting. But Heather, Roger, and the whole team (Taylor and Brett are amazing as well!) helped me feel so welcome and comfortable getting back into moving and building strength. Nutrition advice is offered but never pushed, which was so important for my mental health on this journey. Changes are slow but happening. Been working out with them for nearly a year now and I genuinely can’t recommend them enough. They can cater to all levels. I started with semi-private (buddy) training to make sure I had a good foundation and now do their 4-person group class.

I found MPPT after a couple unsuccessful stints with personal training at more traditional gyms. From the moment I stepped into their gym, I could tell MPPT was different. Heather, Roger, Taylor and Brett (and Tootsie!) are SO inviting, knowledgeable and judgement-free. I have an autoimmune disease, and every trainer at MPPT has met me where I am. During the sessions the trainers push me to where I feel comfortable, and I have been so impressed (and shocked!) at how much improvement I have seen. Even on days where I have a physical limitation (such as no arm movements), the trainers are able to change my workout to match what my abilities are for the day. The facility itself is clean and inviting, and there are no mirrors which I find makes me focus on how the movement feels. The trainers are very attentive and are constantly checking in to make sure the movement is correct and targeting the right muscles, and as a result, I've become more intune with my body. Since starting with MPPT eight months ago, I have seen improvement in my balance, strength, flexibility, mood, physique, and energy. My fiancee, who does not have any physical limitations, has joined training sessions with me, and although we train together, the trainers have separate plans for us based on our abilities. He has always worked out, but since joining he has seen tremendous gains in his ability and physique, more than I've ever seen in the many years we have been together. People are constantly asking him if he's been working out more!
MPPT has, hands down, been the best investment I have made in my health. If you are looking for a great place to take your fitness to the next level, this is it!

The team at Made Possible is worth every penny. I started off doing one on one training to build a baseline before I moved to the semi-private classes. True to their name, all of the trainers are exceptional motivators that can make you feel as though you can do the impossible. Everyone has their own unique style that shines through in the work they do. You may be doing the same set, but no two workouts are ever the same. They set realistic goals and work with you to make sure that you're meeting your needs in a safe and effective manner. I went three times a week for about a year and a half, and during that time I lost about a quarter of my body weight. I was sad that I couldn't pack them up and bring them with me when I moved out of state.
Be sure to pay the toll to Tootsie when you go, she only accepts scratches. And don't leave without having Taylor tell you a dad joke, either. It's a crucial part of the experience.

I began my fitness program at Made Possible in June 2021 at 80 years old, and thanks to the team at Made Possible, Heather, Roger, Taylor and Caitline, today 14 months later I am 81 years Young.
In May of 2021 I discovered I could not get up off the floor without assistance, and then I started realizing other things I was unable to do without help. I couldn’t get up out of a chair that didn’t have arms I could lean on, I couldn’t go up and down a curb without the help of a pole or a tree, just little things I took for granted and it seemed it happened all of a sudden. I have always been active playing tennis, taking exercise classes and walking at least 5 days a week, but something was happening to me that I did not understand, or like. I decided that maybe it would benefit me if I had some personal training and I did not want to go to a gym where I would feel out of place, so I did some research looking for a person or place that works with “older” folks and where I would not feel self conscience about working out and that’s when I found Made Possible, and I am so happy I did. I go twice a week and mainly work out with Taylor and Caitlin, who are absolutely fantastic, not only are they my personal trainers, they are also my personal cheer leaders pushing and encouraging me through all of my workouts. They are young enough to be my granddaughters but believe me they do not treat me like I was an “old grand mom” and I love them for that. What is also great about Made Possible, they tailor your work out to you, and if you start to feel any pain they change the workout immediately, they don’t believe in “no pain, no gain”.
I can now get up out of a chair on my own, I can easily go up and down curbs without thinking about it and I can get up off the floor all on my own. I won’t tell you it’s like when I was younger and could just “pop up”, but I get up and it’s getting better all the time.
If you want trainers who are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and upbeat and who truly care about their clients and their well-being Made Possible is the place for you, no matter what your age or physical condition, just go for it, you won’t regret it.

The very affable, professional team works tirelessly to coach clients. They are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and committed to motivating others. An upbeat atmosphere prevails; the positive energy is contagious, and conducive to mental health as well as physical well-being. A highlight is a warm greeting by endearing, tail wagging Tootsie.
Each exercise regimen is individually tailored. I find the program extremely challenging, though I want to keep coming back. I feel good after each session. I also credit MPPT with further healing of an old injury, and more recently facilitating my recuperation from a painful torn rotator cuff. My former physical therapist thinks MPPT is doing great by me, encouraged me to continue, and intends to refer others.

In the spirit of better late than never… I have been working out with Heather, Roger, Taylor and Caitlyn for over 2 years. I moved to St Pete in late 2018 and struggled to find a work out facility, yoga studio, or any workouts that I connected with. In March 2019 at a Heart Association Gala, I bid on, and won, 6 personal training sessions with Roger. That was one of the best purchases I have ever made.
I had never worked out with a personal trainer so didn’t know what to expect and was a bit anxious about the drill sergeant comments I had heard about them. That is not at all how they work. They ask what your goals are and consistently help you work towards those goals even as they change. At the time, I really just wanted to get back in shape and try to eliminate the hip and lower back paid I was having. That pain subsided within the first several months of working out with them.
In Dec 2020, I started having knee paid and could not load and bend my knee. I thought I would have to sit out some workouts, but they were able to adjust my workouts immediately and keep me in the gym training. Due to the massive amounts of training, education and knowledge they have in their craft, they can pivot and modify workouts in the moment so you never have to skip sessions, and the workouts are still difficult.
They are all caring, positive, and supportive both inside and outside of the gym. Their actions speak louder than their words in how they care about their community, people, animals, and the environment. They have created a community that transcends their business as it’s all one thing to them. They make working out fun and I have never not wanted to go to a workout (OK maybe that Saturday or two that I had a bit of a hangover).
I cannot say enough good things about this group of wonderful people and I will never stop working out with them! I highly recommend!!

I have suffered with herniated discs for many years. As someone in their 20s, I thought my life was essentially over and my only option to get out of debilitating pain was invasive surgery. Fast forward to my early 30s and multiple surgeons deemed me ineligible. I found this gym by chance and am so grateful and glad I did! When Heather asked me what I wanted out of Personal Training, I said “health and fitness”. As an active senior, I need to avoid injuries while I play tennis and of course I always want to make sure my clothes fit well- without skimming over tummy rolls!

I was referred to the squad at Made Possible to rehab a shoulder injury and come up with a personal training game plan. It's been over a year since I started with Roger at IM Possible Personal Training. I've had "in person" workouts where Roger, Taylor, and Heather have taught me resistance exercises using body weight, dumb bells, barbells, elastic bands, TRX straps, etc. Their gym is very well laid out and equipped. Now Roger programs my routines with multiple routines updated monthly. They definitely give me a challenging workout.

I've never done strength training in my life and was very intimidated. However I knew I needed to do so as I was 46 years old and had reached a plateau with my weight loss by just running. Roger and Heather have built incrementally to get me where I need to be WITHOUT injury. Every accomplishment is celebrated and built upon. The one-on-one environment is stress free. IMPossibePT is outstanding. Roger and Heather have built a very well appointed gym and they both have the education and skills to go with the gym.
I just finished my third week with Roger. I had strained my shoulder working out and decided at 65 years old it was time to learn how to strength train properly. Roger evaluated me and commenced on simultaneously teaching me while building into varied workouts involving body weight, elastic bands, dumb bells, and barbells. We have covered dozens of different exercizes.
Weight has been a lifelong issue and I've lived most of the last 10 years either constraining calories in a healthy way or binging in an unhealthy way. For the last six months I've been in the constraint mode. Since commencing the strength and conditioning training 3 weeks ago I have been able to eat more (mostly healthy food) and lose weight. That is a pleasant surprise. One other surprise I was not aware of is that muscle absorbs glucose from the bloodstream directly, a major benefit for a Type 2 diabetic.
My physique is changing as I add muscle mass while reducing my body fat. Once I arrive at my goal I look forward to Roger's support helping me maintain.
My son encouraged me to engage a Personal Trainer. When I shared the IMPossiblePT website and what Roger and I have accomplished he commented "These guys are the real deal". I couldn't agree more.

Was never one to use a personal trainer but the experience with Roger has upped my game & kept me doing the things I love with his knowledge, gentle personality (but still makes you accountable) and great attitude. I can't believe how caring and well educated IM Possible trainers are. There work outs focus on what YOU need not just fluff. I started with a large deficits that were causing an imbalance in my posture and functionally. I have seen in the last 3 months huge changes in my looks and balance between my legs and back that was much weaker and causing symptoms. They care so much and are incredible people. The place is a great and motivating environment to workout in, but the accommodations that Roger has done to help me is above and beyond. Even when I was going out of town for a while he put together a detailed chart of the exercises I should do daily and when to increase them. I was in a car accident that left me with two herniated discs which caused so much pain I had to have minor surgery. I was out of the “fitness game” for about a year so I was eager to jump back in but I wanted to do it safely. I had been an active person most my life. Somewhere in my late 30's, the fitness regimen and strict dieting became to much. I burned out and stopped doing everything. After a year or so, on multiple occasions, I tired to incorporate fitness back into my life, but it never stuck. With each failure, I became more defeated and less determined. When I met Roger, I was at least 6 years out from training or activity of any kind. Walking up one flight of stairs was like climbing a mountain and lifting weights wasn't even on my radar. I knew I needed to make a change and set up a meeting with Roger. He listens and creates workouts that not only keep me on my toes, but improve my fitness level while educating me on best practices. Every workout is new - I never get bored - and somehow he manages to weave the workout variety together in a way where I am progressing in ways I never imagined possible. I came to him defeated, just hoping to get some type of fitness routine going again. Almost a year later, I lift more than I ever have before, I am training for a 5K, have just started rock climbing and am excited to try new activities. But most notably, I feel fantastic and have the energy to really participate in life. Roger is more than just a personal trainer. He's a couch. Were not as hard to attain as I imagined. Roger guides you into building up slowly. My waist is thinner, my pulse rate is down. I have greater mobility, strength is up and my balance is vastly improved. That was a problem area. I Feel better and my A1C is down! This is one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

My wife and I are a bit older (70 & 66) than a lot of gym users. But we knew we needed to work on our strength, balance and flexibility--especially with 3 knee replacements between us! Heather works us hard, but is very careful that we do not hurt ourselves. If one exercise doesn't work, she finds one that will. She mixes things up so the workouts are fun and not boring. She is very skilled, and is always seeking to learn new things to help improve her services to clients. Plus, she is a really nice person that has her client's best interests at heart. I've always been terrified to jump in with a personal trainer. The stereotype of a huge body builder screaming at me to lift massive weights and not letting me breathe was something I didn't want.
