I wish I could give more stars! Mission Yoga is one of the best yoga studios that I have ever been (including NY and Miami where I lived for a couple of years). Their team is super friendly. Dedicated professionals who make the classes not only challenging (in a good way!) but also fun. I've been going for more than 3 years and I can't recommend it enough. Delaney's and Kryshel's classes (mat Pilates) are my favorites, but all of them are absolutely great! There is always room for everyone but it is never too crowded. There are always options for those who don't have the same level of experience, or even if you are not feeling your 100% on a certain day. Oh and the playlists are so good! They elevate the classes and flow. If you are looking for a yoga studio in Fort, this is your place!

Hands down the most authentic yoga studio I have ever walked into. It has taken years to find a studio where you simply just fit in and feel at home. The staff is very inviting and comforting. The small yoga room makes the class feel intimate and more personal where you get the most of what you need out of the class. Specifically Chris, he has a way of connecting you into each pose and shares his passion of the practice with you. I’ve been taking Amanda’s classes for over 7 years now and I’m stoked to see what she’s got in store for this studio. -Matt & Jacey

As a first-time visitor to this live stream yoga studio, I was impressed! The gentle flow class was exactly what I needed, and the teacher's instruction was clear and calming. I really appreciated the pace and the focus on mindful movement and breathing. I did have difficulty getting into the class, but I'm grateful to the woman who answered the phone multiple times to walk me through the process. I know she was busy. Thank you for a nice experience.

I had a great first experience at Mission Yoga. I was greeted with a friendly reception upon entering. The entry area has two rooms for those needing to change clothes, there are storage cubbies for shoes and they also sell cute shorts and merch in the front.
Through the next door is a large yoga studio which is decorated with a peaceful, simple esthetic. It’s cute, clean and comfortable. I like that there are more cubbies in the main yoga room for personal belongings and the natural lighting. There are two restrooms which can be accessed from the yoga studio. The restrooms are also clean and organized, offering hair ties for anyone who may have forgotten one.
The studio has bolsters, yoga blocks and other yoga items to help with your practice.
Chloe ran the class smoothly making sure to offer multiple poses for all yoga levels or for those with injuries. I enjoyed her class and appreciated how she reminded us to breathe and check in with our bodies throughout our different stretches.
I will definitely come back!

I recently moved to South Florida and had a challenging time finding a yoga studio that felt warm and inviting. With the abundance of Hot Yoga studios in the area, it was so refreshing to discover a space that prioritizes quality teachers over distracting loud music or fast-paced workout-style Vinyasa classes. This studio truly stands out for its emphasis on a mindful yoga experience. I’m very excited to see how my relationship with this yoga studio grows over time. Amanda is a fantastic teacher.

I’ve never actually taken a yoga class before & usually just do basic flows at home but I took a slow flow class with Erica & I loved my experience! I was able to zone out but also look to her when I needed guidance. I loved the smaller class size & that the room isn’t heated! Will definitely be back

Incredible yoga spot for prenatal yoga . Came here after seeing an online recommendation and was not disappointed. They have prenatal yoga every Sunday at 11:30am and the instructor was so great. Will be coming back!

Great calming studio with strong teachers, clean spaces, and cold air conditioning :) So far the classes are a good balance of challenging yet doable. I’m taking a break from hot yoga in the summer months and this is my new go-to spot.

I really love taking classes here. I got the 10 class package and I’m now on my second package. Shay is awesome and really demonstrates in depth knowledge of anatomy which has always been important to me for my practice. I also loved taking Delaney’s class! Phenomenal, as she really guides you into a mindful & spiritual practice (going to her class again today!) while still challenging you with grace. I’ve also taken Taylor’s athletic recovery class - tough but SO worth it and I highly recommend it to everyone to work out kinks you never knew you had.

P.S. readers, please don’t fill up the classes, leave some space for me lol

It’s been hard for me to find a yoga studio that was welcoming, free of judgment, and good for beginners (while still challenging me). Mission Yoga is all this and more. Each class I take just makes me more excited for the next one. The styles and personalities of all the yoga instructors help create a peaceful atmosphere. No two classes that I’ve taken with Shay were the same, but each challenged my mobility while encouraging mindfulness. I also feel like the instructors genuinely care about my progress. The community that goes there is also very inclusive. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio.

Exactly what Downtown Oakland Park needed - RUN to Mission Yoga to get your "flow" on. The instructors are so in tune to everyone that takes a class there and you walk out feeling refreshed and ready for more. That doesn't mean you won't sweat a little, but it's the perfect amount to challenge your mind and body! So glad to have them in Oakland Park :)

Beautiful studio with friendly and professional teachers. This is a studio that welcomes everyone! I have had the pleasure of trying several different classes with different teachers and have found them all amazing. Modifications are suggested so you can make the class your own with supports or challenges as needed. The owner, Shay, goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere while offering great classes. Props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets are provided. Events such as sound meditation and ice baths are offered. The studio is clean and the teachers are knowledgeable. I highly recommend Mission Yoga!

Shay is the best yoga instructor I've come across! She has a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology which contributes to her unique effectiveness as an instructor.

I'm fairly flexible, no injuries, and just stressed and compressed from being back in school full time. My husband is athletic with some old injuries and not very flexible. We both find exactly what we need at Shay's classes. My husband is addicted to her athletic recovery flow class because it makes him feel so good afterwards. I love her Vinyasa and Slow Flow. I always learn something new and I've started using her breathing techniques to calm myself down before exams!

The space is beautiful and relaxing and there's always good music complementing the flow of the class.

I can’t express how great my body feels after the mobility flow class. I enjoy yoga a bit but by no means consider myself a yogi. The space has a wonderful light and clean feel to it; we bought a package straightaway after the first class we took.

Thank you Shay! We will be back soon!

Hands down best yoga in Fort Lauderdale/Oakland Park. Amazing line up of classes and teachers for whatever your body needs. Shay is phenomenal at her craft, she’ll have you feeling strong and supported no matter your level. The space is beautiful and puts you at ease - exactly what the area needed! Athletes, fear not, this space is for you too - the mobility class is one of my favs! The perfect compliment to your training!! Highly recommend you check out a class!

Shay’s Vinyasa flow classes are each new and well planned. They have helped me maintain a high level of performance and greatly aided my recovery from other workouts. Her functional recovery classes are next level when it comes to understanding biomechanics. They truly are outstanding for injury prevention

Mission Yoga has become my yoga home.
I have practiced as a student with the owner Shay for many many years and have followed her specifically for the yoga she offers. It truly is a unique intelligent style while being deeply rooted in the teachings of the foundation, tradition and principles of Yoga.
She is a teacher who offers a style that is accessible and mindful for literally everyone: injuries, advanced, just beginning and those going deeper in their journey of the practice.

So all of that being said, when she opened mission Yoga I personally knew it was going to be special because I believed she would have teachers that offered something not only special but uniquely impactful.
After joining the studio, I will tell you that it was not only that but so much more.

The studio has the most pure vibe. Something that is paramount to practicing at a studio accompanied by some talented unique very cool teachers. Something I haven't been able to find in a long time. Mission yoga has given me the feeling of warmth that feels like home. Also, the cleanest studio I have ever practiced in. There is so much to offer here.

I think I have made my point that it is a must to go experience this beautiful new studio to our community. To come experience a yoga practice that is vastly more than what your perception of yoga is in this moment.

Beautiful studio with a fresh and clean aesthetic, amazing teachers, variety of classes and class times. Shay is phenomenal; no two classes with her are exactly the same, but they are always exactly what I need!

Whether you want to bring some recovery and functional mobility into your workout routine, strengthen your body in power yoga, reset your mind with restorative evening yoga, or tap into the benefits of all the above, this studio is the place for you! I’ve been practicing yoga for 15 years and love everything this studio has to offer. It’s completely welcoming and comfortable for beginners as well - I’ve brought lots of new yogi friends and family to class and they loved it!

STRONG recommend for all current and future yogis - aka everyone ;)

I am 89 years young and had never previously taken a yoga class. My daughter and grandchildren encouraged me to join them in a class at Mission Yoga. The instructors were so kind and helpful I did not feel out of place although I could benefit from an “advanced” class….and I don’t mean skill level but rather a group of my peers. I recommend checking it out!

I have enjoyed several classes at Mission Yoga and thoroughly enjoyed each one! The studio space is so beautifully decorated - light and airy providing a tranquil setting for rejuvenating the mind, body and soul. I LOVE sessions with founder, Shay Palmer. Somehow she is able to connect with each participant and seemingly individualize the workout. Her knowledge of the human body and compassionate nature are awe-inspiring! Love having this resource nearby! Nice trendy area to grab lunch or dinner with fellow yogis after class!

“I already spend an hour of my day working out… what do I need yoga for?”

That was my opinion of yoga before I ever tried Mission Yoga.

They taught me that yoga was much more than just a stretch session where an instructor told me to set my intentions and breathe.

They taught me how to better use my body and my mind to increase my performance inside and outside of the gym. Thank you for teaching how important movement, breathe work and neuromuscular control is to our community.
