I was lied to and then 3 days later I had no job and the gym was closed because we had been evicted from the building. I was a coach at the gym for about a year and a half. I deeply cared about my students and was completely devastated at the outcome of the owner’s carelessness. I was told for weeks that I would receive my paycheck that was owed to me and she eventually just quit answering my phone calls or messages. I then found out that she had actually skipped town and wasn’t even in the state anymore. I’m so disgusted by her actions and am furious about not being given the money I’m owed. Truly pathetic!

Mindy does not care if employees or vendors are paid. Mojo owes thousands of dollars in open invoices and she refuses to answer phone calls or emails inquiring about past due payments.

Aggravated Battery, drug possession and Fraud. All things I do not want my children around. I was going to sign up with this gym before they moved to the location they are at now. After doing my research I come across the mug shot of the owners' son Avery keys (who is a coach) and all his charges. I would not have my kids around such a sketchy place period. The Owner has debt up to the ears after leasing three gyms in the area and even have fled from a leasing debt in Hawaii. Shady business. All public record for those who know where to look. Do your research before signing up.

I was really excited to go to their kinetic kids program, because it offered the ability to take my 2 year old somewhere without the commitment of a tuition and mandatory classes you may not always make it to (if you understand life with toddlers); however, I was terribly disappointed. The facility looks like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a year, as excited as I was I was greeted by a very lackluster receptionist who unfortunately didn't make me feel excited about going in for my trial day. I was later informed that the coach for the class was having car trouble ten minutes after the class was supposed to start, and from what I saw didn't show up for the entire 55 minute class that was basically parents running around the gym with their kids. I stayed for the duration in hopes their would be something redeeming to change my mind and also not to disappoint my toddler--who while playing found loose springboard springs lying around the gym, but nothing made me feel like I should come and try this facility again. This all coming from someone who has experience working in studios and gyms that taught toddler classes with fun AND organization. The commitment of tuitions sound daunting at such an early age but now I know I'd rather pay that to know the facility will be safe and clean. The photos you see are not updated one's by far.

Visited for 1st time this week. Both my daughters participated in a trial class. I stayed and watched so I could compare to what I've experienced (or lack thereof) at 1st City. I was hesitant at first due to the location and facility. It may not be as aesthetically pleasing as others but that's not what matters. What I witnessed was a highly talented and genuine staff and coaches. They actually "taught" the kids and made sure they watched each child perform the skill and then assisted the child in doing it right. They also explained to them what each skill was for...what it's purpose was. The coaches are legit and not teens watching the clock, letting kids do whatever they want. My girls learned more in that 1 session than they have in moths enrolled at 1st City. If you are looking for a gym for your child to learn gymnastics and be taught by people who genuinely love what they do and want your child to be good, then you need to give Mojo a try. We will definitely be joining , after we fight 1st City for our money back that they automatically drafted from our account for September, without our permission.

My girls are so excited to join the Mojo family.

Use to be great, but new owners made Freeplay to kiddie for our kid. Don't know how their older kids program is.

Mojo Elite gymnastics and sports has been such a special place in our child's life. We are so grateful that the owners opened and offered a variety of wonderful and superb services/training for the children of our community. We have been treated with great warmth, care and support. The owners and coaches are and have been such a positive influence in our child's life. Our child looks forward to attending her classes, Super Saturdays and having her birthday bash at Mojo.

This place is amazing! They were very friendly to all the kids at a birthday party I went to. The facility is very clean and well padded. They make everyone follow the rules and safety was a priority. I love the zip line and the trampoline walk. My 3 year old had a blast

I absolutely adore Mojo Elite Gymnastics! So much, that we drive an hour from Alabama to come here. This gym is like no other, hence the reason I don't mind making the drive. The children's safety and best interest is always of utmost importance. They are so knowledgeable and care about the children excelling and being their personal best. They are most certainly not in this business for money, if they were they would hold the children back and not teach them new skills and not allow them to move up to new levels. (That's what all of the other gyms do... I know this from personal experience.) They are always so friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help the children learn new skills. They are nothing but professional and they always have been. I have been doing business with them since my 5th grader was in K and will continue to do so. We love Mojo.

This gym is disgusting there is filth everywhere as seen in the photos I posted. If you don't want your children to be surrounded by garbage and nails and empty alcohol containers please pick them up from day care and do not return. Avery Key uses drugs and watches your children while instigating fights between them and laughing about it. There are not enough seat belts in the vehicles that they use to pick up your children. They are hoarders and have almost every room in that new gym filled with garbage. They will probably be out of business soon anyway being that they owe 15,000 dollars because they stopped paying rent in the previous facility. Which the letter is also posted. They do not have money to pay their employees or have any open areas for your child to change that does not have filth and clutter all around. Alex Gerber is a coach here he is 15 and often drinks and smoke Marijuana at the facility. Mindy is very rude the staff is completely unprofessional. They often speak about the drama going on in the children's life as well as their parents to outside customers and other employees. Adam Ramos, Mindy's boyfriend and an employee who teaches the children often says inappropriate comments in front of the children and showing pornographic images to employees while kids are running around the gym. The parents are not called when the children are injured . These people do not care about your kids just your money please do yourself a favor and go to First City. If you would like to see the photos of this filth please go to the yelp review or the yellow pages. It's nothing personal I just don't agree with their business practices and neglect against the children who are in their care

I took my 2 year old tot to the mommy and me class offered on a Saturday morning. I loved that the first class was free so you can see if your child will like it or not. Thereafter, classes are $5 each. Class was at 9, we arrived around 8:40 AM and they let us is early. Spoke to 2 coaches Adam and James and the owner she was really nice. Adam gave us a brief layout of the gym and then let us explored. I liked that because my LO is really shy. At first she didn't want to do anything until I tried first and then she was OFF. She especially loved the blue walkway that bounced and the obstacle course. The layout wasn't really very detailed to me (I've never been in a gymnastics place before). They had low floorbeams for the kiddies to try. They had a trampoline like walkway. They had a swing area that landed in soft cushions. First we got in a circle did a few nursery rhymes while stretching. Around 9:15 they organized 2 areas and split the kids up after open play. They showed them how to tumble. Adam was really patient with the kids. At 9:50 they got us back in a circle and stretched the kiddies again and that was it. My thoughts of the interior: They did have one section that looked like a set up for babies or new walkers - it involved a lot of crawling thru tubes. The interior appears dated to me. I wish the floors were more even, I could see some of the enthusiastic kids trip a couple of times. They had the bar area open and some of the kids who took gymnastics were practicing on them. Not much decor. I saw an area were water was leaking and a bucket was catching it. A lot of gymnastic props lying around. Overall, a great place for the toddlers becsuse it's not structured and let's them play at their will. All the kids were polite with each other and waited their turn which was really cute to see. It was nice see the parents ans grandparents interacting on thr floor too. My daughter really enjoyed herself, I could see us returning in the future due to the reasonable price.
