Update:

I am updating my review now that I have been inspired to start my own dance journey with New Heights. The same welcoming feeling that our daughter experiences is the same one that I have been presented in my very first ballet class. I’ve spent 36 years of my life not being a dancer, but that doesn’t matter. Cassie is fun, understanding and knowledgeable about her craft. If you’re considering signing up for an adult basics class, just do it! I am not a prima ballerina by any means and yet New Heights still makes me feel excited about showing up and doing my best. You’ll gain confidence (and maybe even a friend or two) here.

My little one attended musical theater camp, and wow, was it wonderful & more! Ms. Carmen offered such an enriching and fun experience. I felt all the theater group nostalgia hearing of the singing warm-ups, breathing exercises and, of course, the performance! It was the perfect introduction to theater, and I feel so lucky we have this offering in Tampa for kids. Loved it that was the "real deal" for kids, and their final performance was absolutely adorable!

I highly recommend this studio! Cassie is very organized and I love how her studio is all inclusive. My 2 year old started in August 2022 and had a great time! The summer class she took prior to that at a different studio just didn't know how to handle toddlers. Cassie is great at keeping them engaged and dealing with them when they have rough days. The plie n play 2-3 year old class is great! An adult dances with them and they get to dance, then take a break to color, have a snack break and get to dance some more! It's really tailored to their age and gets them ready for class without a parent. My daughter loves the songs and sings them all week! The end of the year festival is different than your regular dance recital... it was a lot more relaxed and fun! Adult tap classes that I have done in the past are usually only a couple of students and beginners are mixed with those that have experience. At NHDA, Cassie has different levels for adults and is able to fill her classes. I decided to sign myself up for an adult tap class and can't wait to start! I considered moving to a studio closer to our house, but NHDA is worth the 20-30min drive!

My 3 year old daughter started taking combo classes with Cassie and I now recommend New Heights Dance Academy at every opportunity. The environment of the studio is welcoming and positive with the focus of the dancers building confidence in themselves through the art of dance. It's apparent through the interactions that I've witnessed that all the instructors genuinely enjoy teaching. The skill set that Cassie enthusiastically teaches with such compassion towards the kids is evident in every single class. Enrollment and payment is simple, classes are very fairly priced and the value that I get in return as a parent watching my child learn and grow in a healthy, safe environment is everything I could ask for. Cassie has mastered the talent of being a skilled professional while incorporating her love of teaching dance.

We love the time Olesya spent with you Mrs Cassie! She loved doing virtual ballet during the pandemic, and when she was able to come to class she loved acro. Your studio was a safe place for her during the pandemic and after, building her self confidence as well as her balance and coordination.

Since moving to NC, we have found another dance studio, and it's only bc of the skills she learned with you and your team that she has had the nerve to go and truly love it. Nothing will compare to New Heights Dance Academy , and we will miss you!

New Heights Dance Academy is a fantastic dance studio. They offer a variety of classes and the teachers are all talented! I joined to get back into dance, so took the adult beginner class as a refresher, and after a year later... I'm now signed up for 3 classes a week. Cassie is great and the studio accommodates every age and level of experience.

Our daughter loved the year of dance she did at New Heights Dance Studio.
In fact, they started offering event space rentals right before her birthday so we even held her birthday there and it was a hit!
All of the teachers we have had classes with have been amazing and patient.
I especially love the monthly pop-up classes “Dance Like a Diva” for my own mommy-night-out. 😊

We Love NewHeights Dance Academy!!!
2021 was our first year with Ms.Casey & her assistants , they are the sweetest! My daughter’s first dance day we stood outside the class room the entire 1hr and watched from video monitor (shy & nervous). With every class we attended Ms.Casey made sure my daughter was completely comfortable and now it’s her favorite part of the week. I Recommend NewHeights to everyone of ALL ages you’ll really enjoy the atmosphere and learn techniques you didn’t know you had in you. They also do amazing of keeping the parents involved, we are excited for classes to resume for year 2 in August!

Love NHDA! Thie 47-year old is so grateful for a place where I can take a true ballet class alongside other women who are simply full of joy for the chance to dance and feel great. Cassie has established a welcoming environment where people of all ages can try out (or pick back up again) a variety of dance styles. Plus, my little one has loved the dance camps this summer. I was so excited when I saw the NHDA has adult tap classes! I was looking for some in my area, and I can't get much closer to home than NHDA! Cassie does such a great job of making the class (Intro to Tap) challenging but accessible. It's a great workout for mind and body. I can't wait for the next session of tap classes to start!

My daughter has loved learning the basics of ballet and tap. She started going here at age 4 and is now 5 and just loves showing me what she learns. Cassie and her team are absolutely amazing. My daughter started her first class and I was worried with leaving her (3) and covid. My daughter did not want to go until we came in and met her instructor and peers. She won’t stop talking about it, and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect mix of structure and creativity for the 5-6 year old set and he looks forward to going every week. The Covid safety protocols are also really reassuring. I finished my first week zoom Zumba class with Jordan at New Heights Dance Academy. She is amazing and she had a smile on her face during the entire class, while I was only able to focus on breathing :). It was lots of fun, invigorating, and certainly had my heart pumping. Jordan didn't miss a beat with arms, legs and head twirls. I, on the other hand, did miss a few beats, but was able to catch up. With the music she uses, you can't help but move. Music was upbeat, and the dance steps matched the music in spots. She keeps all your body part in motion. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and I'm looking forward to doing it again this coming week, Tuesday & Thursday. Thank you, Jordan for my mid day work out. It keeps my energy up for the rest of the day.

I can't say enough good things about New Heights Dance Academy. Although I did some dancing in high school as part of musical theater, I never took any classes or had any real training. When I saw the ads for a beginner's adult dance class, I was excited to sign up. I am SO Happy that I did. The class size is small, just 5 of us. The Instructor, Amanda, worked for Norwegian Cruises training performers for the big shows on the ships. She's super positive and very patient. While I was "competent" at 17, a step-ball-change at nearly 40 was a big challenge. She does a fantastic job breaking everything down and encouraging everyone to just keep trying. Classes are held on Zoom, so I'm in the comfort of my own space. I can interact with my classmates, or I can make Amanda's window the primary screen and just focus on her. After class ends, I have access to the recorded class so I can continue to practice with Amanda's virtual guidance. At the end of 6 weeks, we'll have a whole routine to dance to. This has been such a great way to get some exercise, work on my coordination, and meet new people. I'll absolutely sign up for more classes, and I'll look forward to the time when I can physically join a class in the studio space.

If you or your child are thinking about doing a dance class this time of year I highly recommend new heights dance academy. The best part is you don’t even have to leave your home or office. You need nothing but maybe a yoga mat and water! Cassie and her staff are incredible. They definitely have a passion for what they do. I myself even jumped in and did the Zumba on Tuesday.The best part is it builds your child’s confidence and gets their energy out at the same time!
