This School has developed my Daughter into such a wonderful young lady. The Teachers are all excellent. They hold the children accountable while instilling confidence. My Daughter's grades have improved tremendously as well as her love for Ballet. I would recommend this school for any parent who is considering enrollment

This is the best school my daughter's have ever been too. Hope they come back in 7th grade, but there isn't much space there that's why they're doing fundraisers.

Our granddaughter goes to this school and we all LOVE it.The staff and teachers are all wonderful! Her sister will be trying out soon for next year. Teachers stay on top of the students progress and keeps us informed. We spend 4 hours a day taking her to and from this wonderful place of great education and teaching the art of "Ballet". A.White

A wonderful opportunity for young dancers, usually found only in larger, metropolitan areas. Professional performance opportunities to dance with a live orchestra! The school and evening classes provide superb instruction.

This is our second season with the school, doing pre-ballet with our son. While it was a bit of a rough start (mainly because he is a boy and had very little patience towards doing structured routine) his end-of-year concert turned-out amazing. His teacher picked great performance costumes and arranged a phenomenal show. There was about 500+ spectators and my son performed on a large stage. He was beyond excited afterwards. His teacher in the current season is very professional and knowledgeable on the subject, my son loves coming to his dance class every week and is looking forward to it week after week.

My daughter has been attending NFB since she was 3 and has had Mrs. JeriJo. She has developed so much discipline and it carries over to all aspects of life because I get compliments on her language (she is learning French in ballet) and following directions. She is learning a lot and of course loves the big concert at the end of the season even though she ended up having a sickle cell crisis last year she enjoyed rehearsal and asked me to do it again this year. I love all of the staff everyone is sweet and I've never had any complaints. Thank uNFB!

I just started beginning adult classes at NFB this year and I love it!! They have a varied selection of different classes to take, from ballet to hip hop to contemporary to pilates/ballet barre. All the teachers are so wonderful; they really make you comfortable and the classes are a lot of fun. I highly recommend to any adults out there wanting to start dance!

I started taking adult beginner ballet and barre/Pilates classes with my sister and I'm so glad I went out of my comfort zone to do this! All the teachers are so accommodating and really love to hear feedback or anything you want to learn from the classes. They are willing to make your experience a wonderful one. Also help build your starting foundations in the correct manner to succeed. Majority of the time they find the adult classes to be their favorite because we actually come out of our way to really learn, so in turn they feel more motivated, and also have fun to teach you as much as they can. Weβre able to keep on building on what we learned and you definitely feel your own progress by continuing every week. I also heard that thereβs a chance to perform on stage if youβre comfortable! The teachers would love to see that happen if you would like to do so. I have made a lot of new friends (all age ranges) coming to class and everyone is just as shy or nervous as you are. So it's okay to feel nervous not knowing anyone at first. When you get use to people they start to open up too. Everyone is pretty encouraging and too focused learning to judge. This is such a great hobby at any age it helps keeps your mind and body happy I feel. :) I really enjoy that I can come wearing the ballet clothes and ballet shoe/slippers (brought mine from bou cou dancewear in FWB) because it makes me feel like a ballerina it makes it that much more fun, but youβre more then welcome to wear fitted gym clothes and socks. You end up sweating a lot, so please bring water. I have learned a lot about ballet: to balanced a lot more, work on my flexibility and feel muscles I havenβt used before. It is a work out for sure. I definitely appreciate and admire ballerinas who make this their career. Now that I have experienced the hard work it really takes for your body to accommodate to change into a dancer's body. Performances are so much more fun and appreciated to watch after learning myself. Iβm starting to feel a sense of accomplishment even if itβs just going to class every week. Iβm happy about it. Classes are also in the evenings, so everyone can come after work. A lot of times you can schedule your appointment on the app called schedulicity. In that way you can buy package deals or single classes. Also you can see what times the classes are and you can cancel ahead of time if you can't make it. Itβs a super helpful app if you can't pay over phone or at the front office. Everyone is so friendly even people at the front desk. They are so helpful with any issues I have and Iβm thankful! Iβm happy NWF Ballet finally opened up the adult classes to the public, so now I finally am able to fulfill something I have always wanted to do as a little girl. My overall experiences is so fun, enjoyable and I feel I am progressing just fine. This is something I will happily remember when look back on it. I will continue classes for as long as I can. :) Who knows maybe in 2-4 more years I may be able to be approved to be on pointe shoes! I hope more adults are able to come to join any of the classes whether frequently or infrequently because the more the merrier! I know the teachers would love to have more students under their wings! :)

NWB has been truly amazing! My daughter has been in ballet since she was two but since we started NWB it has made a huge difference the teachers go above and beyond to help the children learn and dance.
We are so greatfull to be part of the NWB team and i look forward to seeing everything my child has to offer and learn through NWB as she continues to grow and dance.

My grand-daughter, Malia (#19 during Spring try-outs) will be attending school here as a third grader in the Fall. I've heard and read only great things about this school. Malia and I are both excited as she is willing to work hard to become the best dancer and scholar she can be. I do look forward to working with the school and providing any resources I can provide! Thank You Northwest Florida Ballet for recognizing her talent!

My daughter started NFB in 3rd grade and is now going to Point Park University with an Academic and Dance Scholarships. I have a huge respect and very grateful for Mr. Allen and all the academic and dance teachers for all they have done for our daughter. Their hard work and patients that they installed in her paid off. She wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for NFB. If your kids are passionate and loves dance then Mr. Allen and all the teachers will work very hard to get them where they need to be. NFB is the best thing for our community.

We are so very fortunate to have quality ballet along the Emerald Coast - Northwest Florida Ballet is amazing! Did you see their performance of Peter Pan this spring? Wow!! They have an annual free performance in late June at Grand Boulevard - check it out! Everyone loves The Nutcracker performance the weekend before Thanksgiving. Itβs the perfect way to kick off the Holiday Season!

NFB is an absolute gem here on the Emerald Coast. Classical Ballet training from professionals; an opportunity unheard of in a town of this size. The productions are amazing and all contain quality performances you would expyto see in large cities. A true jewel!

The company is really bad. They are biased and don't treat people fairly. The teachers can be nice but focus on certain people they want to succeed.

This school is truly amazing, and what a great opportunity for the children. I think ALL of the Faculty & Staff members are very friendly and always willing to help. I have never experienced "put downs" towards the children. However, kids need structure & discipline. They also need to learn when the are "trying" and "really trying." All the teachers / instructors want is the best effort from each child. So if they ask the kids to 'step it up' is that really too harsh? NO. It is exactly what needs to happen. They do encourage proper eating habits, as it is vital to any person/dancer/athlete. Sure, initially the uniforms can seems so detailed, but at the end of the day, it's really not. I am proud to have my child learning from amazing teachers and dancers. My daughter has definitely excelled and took this training seriously. I gladly support NFB and The Academie!

The staff at this school do not have the interest of their students in mind at all, only their bottom line and public image. This is done by constant belittlement of young students physical appearance and the use of students to teach classes instead of hiring the appropriate training staff.
This company is a horrible environment for young students and their self-esteem.
