I go to many gyms, and this is the only one that doesn’t care about updating their class schedule. They clearly don’t think about their members’ time. I drove one hour today for the 8am Yoga + Weights class with Joanne, and surprise, no class! Why wasn’t the schedule updated? I asked at the front desk and nobody knew anything. This is very poor customer service and shows how little they care about their members.

I paid many personal training classes to the gym in advance.
Because I had to move far from the gym. I requested the gym to refund me all the personal training classes paid in advance that I didn’t use and they refuse it.
The gym kept all my money!!!!
They are very nice to you so you become a member of the gym but very dishonest when you tell them that you want to cancel it.

The gym used to be amazing but they recently underwent a renovation and reduced in half the space where classes like zumba, spinning, etc. were given. As a result the space now is a very small, awfully hot, very bad ventilated, less ceiling fans and very crowded. What is worse, is that they refuse to improve the conditions!!! Sooo disappointed!!

They asked me to email them to cancel my membership. When I did (at least 2 weeks before payment date) they just ignored all of my emails and charged my card. When I asked for a refund, they ignored me again.

Every time I called Olympia Gym, the person I needed to speak with was never available and she ignored all of my emails. I had to get the bank involved to get a resolution.

Horrible first impression. I found this gym from an instagram ad and I went to try this gym with the free pass offered since I recently moved to the area. The front desk staff was not welcoming at all instead they interrogated me with a bunch of questions and asking for copies of utility bills to make sure I live in the area. I’ve never been asked that from any gym I’ve been to. Ultimately they did not let me try the gym because I didn’t bring all the paperwork showing I’m a local resident. Since they did not make it a pleasant experience it’s probably not worth going there anyway.

I decided to try this place out, and well the space is VERY small I was doing an arm workout and the guy was running on a treadmill basically felt like he was in my personal space- Cardio is right there next to or should I say on top of all the other machines, the equipment is on top of each other. To add it was very hot in there the staff didn’t even offer to show me around. The environment was rather a meat market and filming themselves not a place to feel comfortable or motivated unless you look like you had work done or did steroids that’s all I saw.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. $74 a month, $25 every 3 months for maintenance, $100 for registration. If you want to leave them, then pay for the last month during which you are not allowed to visit them! A complete scam. There is no sign of $69 a month. $69 + tax + maintenance, and that's for 28 days!!! Everything is old, after the change of ownership they bought a couple of new exercise machines and that's it. The mats are torn. The air conditioner cannot handle the number of people in the gym if there are more than 10 of us! There is mold in the showers. Girls, be prepared for a man to clean your place! And not when you are not there, but at any time. The new owners decided to raise prices, charge new clients for maintenance, but they can't hire a woman to clean. The gym was excellent, the price and quality were objective, and now there is a continuous stream of people who run away from here after a couple of months trying to fight off the write-offs.

I just want to say that in this four to five months I’ve been coming to Olympia Gym is being a pleasure. It will go down as the best gym I have subscribed here in Miami. The atmosphere, the staff the people. Kudos to my coach George Villarroel for his marvelous job. At first when I came to the gym I had no compass to my fitness journey and with his help I feel more confident at the time I step into a workout. If you are new to the gym like me when I came in don’t be afraid to invest in coaching classes and if you do talk to George, he seems serious but I assure you once you talk to him you’ll laugh and train hard. I’m leaving this month to relocate on the country but if I come back Olympia Gym is the place I will like to be. Thank you!

Gym really hooked me up while I was traveling. The weekly membership was very reasonable compared to most places, about $45 and the gentlemen hooked me up because I needed a week and 2 days to cover my whole trip and he tossed the extra day in for me.

Gym is pretty small, but has every machine or piece of equipment you could want and rarely did I see it get super busy where its size became a problem.

It does only have 2 free weight squat racks though and I think it could benefit from maybe getting a 3rd in there. It does have a smith machine which may suffice for some people, but personally like free weight racks.

I’ve been going to mostly all gyms in miami , but I haven’t found one that you can have everything you need in just one place , I have to said that I finally found my favorite spot to work out , come and enjoy different classes , sauna , steam room and all the equipment you need to improve your daily training . Good vibes , smells amazing and great people here.
