Finally got back to Julia’s class today, and, while all coaches are awesome, she is my go to coach when the schedule works out! She is kind, helpful, communicates outside of studio time, and her music isn’t annoying 🤣🥰

I started taking classes at orange theory about 2 months ago with my mom to prepare for air force basic training and I have nothing but positive things to say! The classes are challenging in the best way possible and have made a serious difference in my fitness journey. All of the coaches are wonderful but due to my schedule I tend to take classes with Julia, alex and megan and they are incredibly motivating, always pushing me to my full potential in class. Susan at the front desk is also very sweet and always so positive. I leave for basic training in 13 days and I couldn’t feel more prepared!

Sometimes the goal is just to get to class. Coach Julia’s expert guidance and fun playlist will inspire you well beyond that humble thought. Throughout the hour she is generous with individual tips and encouragement, and engages us all. In Julia's classes the experience is not about rote performing of exercises and you will definitely achieve new personal bests! I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in the 10-ish months since I re-joined OTF. Knowing that Julia is part of New Smyrna Beach OTF is what keeps me coming back!

I love going to this studio! Everyone, coaches and front desk staff alike, has been so kind and friendly from the very beginning. I mostly attend classes by coach Julia and coach Alex. Coach Julia is amazing!! She is so sweet and talented in motivating us in a positive and gentle manner. Coach Alex can be so funny and has great playlists. Special shoutout to coaches Christine and Megan who are also awesome and I wish my schedule aligned with theirs more. There are so many great people to name here, just know that everyone at the NSB studio is a gem and has made a positive impact on me.

Coach Megan (Guerrero) brings the perfect mix of high-energy fun and expert-level knowledge to every class! Her ability to keep the whole room motivated while still giving individual attention is truly a gift. She knows how to coach proper form and can spot exactly what your body needs—whether you’re crushing a set or needing an adjustment on a move.
After multiple surgeries, I’ve found myself a little “off balance” (literally!), and Megan never misses a beat. She customizes movements for me that are both safe and effective—so I still feel challenged without risking injury. Her workouts aren’t just smart, they’re also a blast!

I cannot speak highly enough about otf NSB! Between coach Megan and slater I lost 20 pounds and have never been in better shape in my life. Megan has always helped me with my form and my core making sure to protect my spine and slater pushes me to grab heavier weights and has helped me become so much stronger than I ever could have done on my own. All of the coaches are great but I am so grateful for the 5:30pm coaches for pushing me to my full potential! My favorite part of otf is the community and the benchmarks making it so much fun to track your progress over time.

If you’re ready to step out of your comfort zone and move beyond the basics, Slater offers the technical expertise and thoughtful modifications tailored to your current fitness level. After undergoing multiple surgeries, I value having a coach who respects my limitations while still challenging me to push beyond them. He shows me how to grow stronger, not how to be coddled.
Slater understands that no two bodies are the same and has the skill to adapt exercises to meet individual needs. But fair warning—if he tells you to grab lighter weights, the movement is about to get a lot harder! It’s the kind of challenge that hurts so good.
A man of few words, you’ll know you’re doing well with just a nod or a thumbs up—and that’s all the encouragement you need to know you’re crushing it.

I am impressed with all the coaches. Coach Julia has positive attitude, high energy and goes the extra mile to be sure you are doing all the moves correctly. I'm a pretty hard person to get motivated. I gave this a try for my wife and myself as she said.I thought I might last a week. Well, I'm starting in my third month and seeing improvement thanks to Alex and Christine, who are very helpful and great motivators. I joined OT NSB in April 2023 when I moved to New Smyrna Beach and can't say enough positive things about this gym. I have always preferred weight training over cardio but attending this gym regularly over the past 4 months has taught me that, not only can I run and row, but I can enjoy it! Both my cardiovascular fitness and overall strength has improved over the summer. The coaches are enthusiastic, positive and motivational. Alex, Christine, Chris and Heather all deserve a call out. All the ladies at the front desk are helpful and friendly and are a joy to interact with. My husband (who ended up joining too) and I have made many new friends through this welcoming community. Worst orange theory I have ever been to. I go all the time and have never been met so rudely at the door. My friend came in for his first orange theory class ever and even after signing up online and they charged him. It’s not like they had so many clients they couldn’t fit him in—clearly the population of new Smyrna have tried, tested, and didn’t want to return.
The AC was broken.
Also had the highest rate I’ve ever seen to borrow a heart rate monitor. $10. Ridiculous.

Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming from the front staff to the coaches. I’ve always been too self-conscious to try any kind of consistent workout in a group setting; however, this is the first place I’ve been to where everyone is not only judgment-free, but also supportive and encouraging.

BEAUTIFUL STUDIO!! Very clean and staff and coaches are amazing. They are always very welcoming and willing to help with whatever you need. I frequent a lot of OTF’s and this one treats you as if it was your home studio. I highly recommend this location if you are in the area or looking to find a new gym!
