My boxing coach Christian is someone who truly believes in me and pushes me to be the best I can be. He goes out of his way to support me and help me improve in my sport. The first portion of my review pertains to an experience I had with Coach David Troche at Palm Beach Boxing. I feel it is important that I include this "incident" in my review to ensure that no one else is intentionally targeted by him. I feel I have an obligation to try to make sure this doesn't happen to others. It also establishes a written record of my experience which is important for accountability and potential liability issues that could arise in the future. After writing about my experience with Coach David Troche I will go on to write a brief review about Palm Beach Boxing. Therefore, please read this review in full. I attended Palm Beach Boxing for about 2 years. During that time I attended (beginner) Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Ju jitsu, and MMA classes (all tailored for beginners - I have never trained to fight, my training focus was for for fitness and self defense). A few years ago, just prior to my departure from Palm Beach Boxing I entered what was supposed to be a light sparring session with one of Coach David Troche's amateur fighters. The sparring was far more intense than anticipated, and although I did not sustain any injuries I certainly could have. About a year later, I ran into that same fighter at an entertainment venue I occasionally manage. He told me that Coach David Troche told him to "go hard" on me right before we began sparring. His response was "but that's Chris?" (he and I started at Palm Beach Boxing around the same time and knew each other well). Nonetheless, he did what his coach told him to do. There are a few concerns this brings up - obviously this is morally and ethically wrong. Imagine going to a gym, going into a light sparring session, and having one of the coaches (an employee of the gym) tell a (trained) amateur fighter to "go hard" on you, and then (between rounds) comes over and pretends to give you advice. Just think about that for a second. Not only does it raise moral and ethical concerns, but it raises concerns over member safety, professionalism, and liability. What kind of person tells a trained fighter to target another member of the gym? It's classless, unprofessional, immoral, immature, and disgusting. Just the thought of a coach intentionally targeting a member of ANY gym is a recipe for disaster. It could result in injury or death, result in liability for the coach or gym, and could even result in legal action. I'm not sure what reason David Troche had for this, but there is no justification for it. It shows a lack of maturity, professionalism, and a clear disregard for member safety. My hope for David Troche is that he grow as a person (mature professionals don't do things like this). A lot of life is about growth. What you may find acceptable or "cool" will change over the course of time. This all depends on your life experience, the people you surround yourself with, and more. I am hopeful that this brief account of my experience will help prevent anyone else from intentionally being targeted by Coach David Troche. Now, as for Palm Beach Boxing - I think its a great gym. My wife and I visit boxing gyms in Detroit regularly and Palm Beach Boxing has that same "vibe". It's ring, bags, mat area, and weight area have more than enough for you to "get in some work"! I found the front desk personnel to be extremely personable and friendly (Jill), and all of the coaches I worked with - Tubby (Jujitsu), David Hayes (MMA), Curtis (Kickboxing), and Donna (Boxing) were fantastic!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! This place will remind you of one of those Gangster movies where they extort the customer. They will give you the run around about canceling your membership, Then when they feel like canceling it will say your still responsible for the following month because you missed the cut off date after giving you the run around. You would think after that it's over right, No, there still not done. The following month they still billed me and again after giving me the run around they assured me it was a system error I'll be fully refunded and it definitely wouldn't happen again. We'll guess what that also was a lie cause again the following month they billed me yet again. I guess Amy got tired of me calling about my money and decided to stop taking my calls so I called from a unfamiliar number ( it took two weeks ) and finally she answered. Not only was she very rude but condescending because I've become irate about my money ( $375 ) being refunded to me. There able to extort you by demanding you sign up with your Bank account which was a costly mistake on my part because they will assure you this will never happen to you like it did to me and others who have gave the same account. If you notice they dont address any negative reviews, now you see why and you've been warned.

We get to gym no one welcomes you or ask how they can help you etc. We had an appointment at 4:30 but before that they keep your drivers license and photo copy it for what reason no one can explain. Boxing is the best! Started after watching my son in the kids class. I have black belt in Tae Kwon Do and have completed Whin Chun kung fu system. One of the only things that can be added to IP man kung fu. Boxing was supercharged self-defense from interceptive to aggressive. Palm Beach boxing offers a fun non-discriminating atmosphere where everyone is treated the same. Only thing I found that took off inches of belly fat. So much can be absorbed from just seeing the professional boxers shadowboxing in the background. The job of a martial artist is to stay in shape. The cardio in boxing is second to none. Boxing is fun gets all the toxins out of your system. I am 50 years old and have been training here for two years. I wonder what would have happen if I would’ve started my journey here.

This is the absolute best and only real boxing gym I’ve found in the Palm Beach area and I travel from Jupiter to train there. It’s an incredible workout but what sets it apart is the individual attention you get especially from Coach Cisco who runs the 12:30 and evening class. You get to train with an actual fighter who made a living boxing and training others and he’s always available for private sessions to get a full hour of incredible training of your goal is to fight or just learn self defense. Awesome people and would highly recommend checking out the 12:30 or 8pm class with Coach Cisco!

First they luring you in with a free training, than they mentally asking you every two minutes while you training if you want to sign in and buy stuff from them, and then they will sign you in, but what you don’t know those scammers going to put you on ETF. I've been involved in combat sports for a number of years and have trained at several good gyms over that period of time, but I must say with a steadfast conviction; Palm Beach Boxing is a phenomenal place to train. Not only is it a very professional, non-threatening and clean environment, but the coaches/ professors are seriously in the business of challenging each student/ athelete (regardless of experience) to make them more proficient in their chosen discipline and/or MMA. Respect is given to all, but there is an expectation to be committed to train hard, which is quite refreshing. The Palm Beach Gym is not a commercialized gym, it's the real deal. They offer programs for everyone, including amateur and professional fighters if that's your interest. I would like to mention three (3) of my coaches who are all outstanding coaches and extremely knowledgeable in their craft: David, the Muay Thai Coach, and Cisco & Jean, the Boxing Coaches. I highly recommend this gym if you are interested in receiving good solid training.

Palm beach boxing school is the best school to bring your kids and yourself for conditioning and to learn how to defend yourself. My daughter takes the Muay Thai classes with David are excellent, my daughter have improved her fighting skills and I love seeing her fight. I too take the Muay Thai classes for conditioning, and I love it. The front desk staff is excellent and friendly, greeting you with smiles all the time when you walk in. The owners Wendi and Lou are great, Wendi and Lou is very caring people and they treat you like family. I recommend to bring yourself and kids, or the entire family can always come to learn or come watch, no matter what you'll love it here.

I tried this membership for my son, but he didn't like it, so I cancelled it 3 months ago and after I received the cancelation notice, I am still being charged for the membership every month with late fees and other fees, so I have a debt with this place even if my son is not attending and I emailed them with my complaint, and they haven't reach back.

Palm Beach Boxing is a good gym, the costumer service is very good, the coaches aswell. The price is also very good, and you have enough time to get your workout in. I really recommend people to come to palm beach boxing, and they won’t regret it.

Great local boxing and martial arts gym. A great place to learn boxing or MT. Knowledgeable, responsible instructors that make learning and putting in work fun. Not like some gyms that throw you into heavy sparring above your level, but give you plenty of opportunities to sharpen your skills and test yourself against teammates and other gyms alike.

Coach Donna is phenomenal with the novice kiddos. Great encouragement, motivation and accountability. The entire staff (I’m sorry I can’t remember every name) are GREAT and welcoming! They even have a smoothie bar with healthy smoothies. A great “family” atmosphere
