Been working out here many years. Best equipped gym/pool in FL. The John Chaffee Fitness Center At Newport Navy Base in RI has identical equipment but an indoor pool and a better view of the outside overlooking Narragansett Bay.

Really great gym on Patrick Space Force Base. It is fairly modern with a huge variety of freeweights, machines, cardio equipment, and basketball courts. There is also an outdoor pool, but it is closed as of right now (Feb). The gym does have a set schedule, but if you register with the staff during normal operating hours, you can be granted 24-hour access.

They are really hitting a home run with the Patrick Gym and fitness center. The whole facility is very clean. I feel safe working out here. The equipment is in good repair. People are friendly and courteous.

Fantastic gym. There are two floors to this gym with multiple themed rooms. It has everything you need for whatever kind of workout you have planned. They do have classes aswell. In addition, they have the basketball court, pool, and outdoor crossfit area. Showers also present for that post workout refreshment.

Great facility and the workers are very friendly. The gym is very clean and the instructors for this SPIN classes are great. Whenever I am on the base, I make it a point to work out here as it is very nice.

Went there for the first time. Very large area with lots of variety. What was really strange was that they play no music, and there is no WIFI. Stayed mostly in the aerobics room and it was dead silent. Have you ever worked out in a gym where the only sound was the fans? Bought myself a MP3 player for my next visit.

Very glad to see the facility back open to all DOD Card Holders! Missed being able to go in as a Retiree. Some machines are tapped off and they have moved some machines around to support "social distancing". New hours posted too. Still plenty of sanitizer and wipes to wipe down machines after each use.

It is a great facility offering every type of exercise/workout equipment anyone would need. Very clean and organized with a friendly, helpful staff. I just wish that when people are on the machines, they would complete their sets and move on. Too many times they will sit there and have lengthy conversations with others while tieing up the machine. Must be frustrating for active duty types that have limited time to workout. Be courteous please.

Very well equipped gym with zero judgment. How many times can you go to a gym and be the youngest person there? Actually, most of the young people are in the free weight room. And I imagine many young people go earlier or later than I go. But during my time frame, approximately 9 a.m. on weekdays, the room with Nautilus machines, treadmills & elliptical trainers it's filled with seniors.

Love the remodel, but the website needs updating. Went to gym at 9am for spin and the class was cancelled and is going to be cancelled for the month with a new time next month. Changes not updated on gopatrickfl. Also, they're are no TV's to watch while doing cardio. Use to be able to listen while on elliptical or treadmill. Gets a little boring without something to watch.
