It’s a nice gym but you better read the fine print on the contract because they will auto draft your card/account. If you want to cancel, you have to provide written notice and pay $100 to cancel for them to “approve”. If you don’t do it this way, they will send you a letter from their attorney to collect the total past due amount, not just from the last day you stopped going. Owners are crooks.

Great place for me, I go different hours during the day and don’t have any issues with it being too crowded. Small and friendly atmosphere, perfect for my needs as I learn to navigate the gym. Has mostly everything I need and has been helping me overcome my anxiety working out in public. Also cleaner than others in the area. Womens locker room is always well kept.

Can't not recommend this gym enough. The staff was incredibly rude and bizarre - I had difficulty using the scanner and instead of explaining to me how to use it the owner grabbed my hand without saying a word and psychically manipulated my hand in order to scan it. I pulled back out of surprise and said you didn't need to do that, and instead of apologizing or acknowledging my presence at all he just walked away. The steam room was a huge draw for me signing up but it smelled absolutely horrible. I found the entire gym to be rather dirty. All in all every time I went I was kicking myself for not doing a deeper dive on the reviews and picking somewhere else.

This place is a unicorn! I spent a week working nearby and got a weekly pass to come work out here. I wish this place had a twin in Tampa! Not a whole lot of space to spread out here if that’s your thing, but if you’re serious about lifting this is your spot! Friendly staff, not too busy, and good attitudes all around. I’ll be back!

I am updating my review , I canceled this membership last year, I went in person to cancel, the owner gave me a paper to sign and that was it, next month I get charged again, I did a claim on my bank, and they said they stopped the charge from happened again,..I went through my statement today, and I am still being charge since November, I did another complaint today, and now I have to wait for them (the gym) to answer, this is so disappointing and dishonest, I read reviews about this when I joined, I should have listened, if you want to be charge forever without using this place go ahead.

Came from out of town and worked out here for the week we were in town. The owner Jordan is very friendly and welcoming. He has an amazing story about he started his gym here in Belleview 8 years ago which is an amazing story. Very clean facility and plenty of equipment to use! Went here for years. It was a nice clean little gym. The owner has never been very friendly but typically I just put my headphones in and work out so it doesn't effect me. In the past year the cleanliness has fell off, the steam room is out of order more than it works, and the equipment has became so crammed together. The owner has been increasing rude so I have taken my 2 gym memberships elsewhere.

This place automatically renewed my annual membership without my consent during the pandemic when they were closed for service. I came by twice in their facility to correct and was promised each time by receptionist that they will relay to management. Management never called and the company continued to bill my credit card. What a nightmare of a company this is. Never ever allow them to bill your credit card.

I have been a member for about a year. There was quite a membership. Turn out there almost daily. I find that now. The turnout rate is decreased. With a lot of people and a lot of energy tends to motivate others and when you have a decrease, attendance thus decreased motivation. I wish that Phoenix fitness could do something to increase their membership numbers.

Clean atmosphere, no visible "lunk alarm" anywhere.... does not strike me as the place to just hang out in yoga pants drinking smoothies, though.... smoothies are available for anyone who does just want to frequent the gym...
Pros: open 7 days a week, sufficient equipment, clean, offers training sessions for those less adept or novice to training, 6 bux for day pass, 15 bux a month with a one time 45 bux per contract registration ( family plan), the gym remains staffed for convenience of registration, or customer needs.
Cons: "size" a gym structured like this needs a bit more real-estate or " wiggle room" i am used to restrictive room and will adapt, but anyone comming from a larger chain gym for growth and use of more equipment... may find the lack of space .... restrictive. Also not a 24 hour gym unfortunately.

This gym is literally 5 min. From my house so it’s super convenient to go. This gym is by far the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. The staff make it their #1 Priority. What I most like about it is my Trainer Adam he’s really gifted just in the very short time I’ve worked with him I’ve seen huge results 💪🏻 He’s so great at Isolating the muscle and you happen to be working on and really fixing your problem areas✅ Thank you Adam you have transformed my body and by the way I’m 51 and I’ve never looked and felt better. I came to this gym as I was visiting Belleview for a few days. I contacted the gym via email and they got back to me very quickly. I bought a few day passes and they were very fair with their pricing! They gym itself is a little small, but the owners of the gym maximized the space and have it filled with some of the best free weight equipment, as well as machines and cardio equipment. I didn't find myself missing anything specific, they had everything I needed and then some! They keep the facility extremely clean and have a very welcoming atmosphere for anyone wanting to come in. I can't recommend this gym enough to anyone at any fitness level! Absolutely amazing facility, will be coming back to it next time I'm in Belleview!

Overall I like the gym. I have always had an issue with the people that do not wipe down the equipment after they use it. Now, with the health things so heightened, I tend to get more frustrated at those same people. Staff are always cleaning the other areas so it's an overall clean facility.

I was unsure of Phoenix at first, but went on the reccommendation of a co-worker. I was looking for a trainer to help me move beyond a plateau. I got hooked up with Candy here at Phoenix and haven't regretted that desicion since!
I have a membership at Too Your Health and have for the past 4 yrs... But I dont know that I'd go back now. I love the staff, the people and the cleanliness of the gym!

We audited to the Senior Citizen class on Monday. The leader was excellent. She spoke loudly enough so the Seniors could hear her. The class, starting at 11 am, was about 90% sitting down. They used stretchy bands, weights and balls to exercise various parts of the body while sitting in the chair. This was great for my husband, who uses a walker. After the class, we joined the gym. We went back Wednesday, and the leader and members welcomed us and helped us get chairs and helped us get the equipment. The leader made a point of letting the class members know that they only had to do what they were comfortable with. That was great, because my husband had problems lifting his right arm, and didn't feel like he had to do it. He could just do what he was able to do. He did a lot more the 2nd time in class than the first time. I'm so glad we joined this class. It will help both of us get fit.

I’ve had a couple of gym memberships at different places, and this is hands down my favorite gym for a number of things. Buckle in. Let’s start with the equipment - it’s all brand new, and ALWAYS clean! There hasn’t been a time I’ve been here and I haven’t seen someone wiping down the mirrors, vacuuming, or wiping down the equipment. The bathrooms are also always spotless, and have lockers, showers, and a steam room! Phoenix Fitness offers a number of classes from Zumba, Cycling, Yoga, Silver Sneakers and more. The staff always greets me with a smile and are eager to answer any questions I have. I’ve been coming here since November of 2017 and plan on staying awhile!

Got a trial at all the gyms in Ocala and I've found the one.
Phoenix Fitness is very clean and offers many amenities that most other gyms don't, such as a smoothie bar, good selection of reasonably priced supplements, towels, showers, and a steam room. For a tight location the place is packed with all the machines and workout equipment you need to hit every muscle. All the machines are brand new. Theres power lifting equipment. Staff is knowledgeable. Membership is pretty fairly priced.
