JL Cruz, ATC is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and Titleist Performance Institute Certified. He specializes in helping clients who are finishing official physical therapy and searching for a professional that can continue their strengthening and functional capacities. He also utilizes his certification with TPI to screen golfers for movement capabilities, strength testing, power testing, and aerobic capacity. Anyone that comes to see him can expect to be thoroughly evaluated and have an individualized plan of care tailored to their needs.

JL is awesome and looking forward to continued healing. I have suffered from severe sciatica for over a decade that has caused a multitude over other muscle tightness and pain. I had tried trigger point, chiropractors, message therapy, yoga etc and everything always made it worse or no change at all. After just my first class I immediately noticed a difference. (Besides being sore haha), the tightness in my legs were down 50%, sciatic pain down 75%, overall pain way down as well just from my first visit! I actually ran around the yard with my son and had very little discomfort. Canβt wait to be 100% again. Thank you guys and gals!

I first went to JL to prepare for my second knee replacement surgery. So glad I did and so is my surgeon. I picked back up with him after being released from physical therapy to work on increased range of motion and to increase my core strength. I never believed a personal trainer could help me, call me a believer now better strength, better balance and continued improvement in movement. He's not your run of the mile personal trainer, he is knowledgeable on how the body works and is able to customize your program for you. He has shown me how to use my body how to improve on a daily basis.

As an older woman, well past my 60βs, I was looking to improve my strength and flexibility with a view toward improving everyday function. Things as simple as going up and down stairs and putting my carryon in the overhead compartment. JL came highly recommended. He listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve from our sessions and tailored my workouts accordingly. Our work together has significantly improved how I feel when going about my daily activities. Stairs are more effortless and Iβm surprised that there are improvements in motions I had altered unknowingly.
As an aside. Since this was originally written the strength in my arms allowed me to keep my 2500 Chevy Duramax truck from disaster when my right front tire blew doing 75 on the interstate. Thanks JL.

JL started Reiki sessions with me about 2 years ago. I was looking for something to help me while dealing with some tough life situations. Through our journey, I was able to recognize past experiences that were interfering with my healing process. This experience was truly life changing. JL was patient and willing to do both in person and distant sessions with me. Through this journey I was able to heal and more importantly learn how to meditate and breathe to calm any anxiety I experience. I donβt use Reiki to heal anymore, but I use it to maintain and relax and help me get through anything that Iβm struggling with.
