Overall this is a very well run gym. Though it is true from time to time they have had trouble with outside cleaning services keeping the locker rooms in proper order the in-house staff does a very good job of looking after everything. New equipment has just been brought in, it is exceptional. Though I am not personally at a point where it would be of use to me it is surprising and nice to see powerlifting platforms have been brought in. The staff also does a very good job of dealing with the rare member who can be inappropriate. Rather than using the silly lunk alarm that I personally believe can startle to a point of disrupting a workout they have enough tact, skill and fortitude to deal with them when necessary. My only slight negative comment would be the layout of all the new equipment is mind boggling. I'm not too sure whoever developed the floor plan has ever worked out a day in their life!

I can get over the fact the bathroom is always dirty and at least one of the stinks don’t work in there. Came in to work out this morning to find new equipment. Normally this would be great but the new equipment honestly sucks. Using it stabs me in the back of the legs, pinches the underside of my thigh between the seat and pad and the weights go up either by 15 lbs or 5. Now a 2 in one hip abductor and adductor. While using the leg curl I watched 4 different people get annoyed with this new machine and give up.

They got rid of a lot of machines. There used to be 4 hip abductors, now there's only 2, the glute machine was exchanged to a different machine that does not target the muscles like the previous machine, all ab machines are removed. Everyone who I've spoken with today are not happy with the change. Now, I have to look for a different gym. This gym messed up my leg/glute day workout!

Never can get my account correct. Went up to planet fitness after a long day of work trying to get my account correctly. I show my account that the front desk physically put in the computer system. And every month I get charged late fee since I been a member since May 2025. Every month my account has issues and no one over the phone can help or waive late fees.

I have been working out at this location for years and I think this is my first time having a 20$ balance because I changed cards and forgot to update. I didn’t have my card with me, and I asked the manager just a simple question if I could pay next and he said no if you want to use the gym you gotta pay now which is totally acceptable but it's the way he said it with an attitude in front of other people no need for that I felt ready bad. I think if you’re a manager at a gym you gotta be more friendly and talk nicer to people not talk with a nasty attitude like he did. Thinking to switch gyms because to be honest this gym is not even great always out of paper to clean the machine a lot of time I want to clean the machines there’s no paper.

Always a good experience. Friendly helpful staff that works hard at keeping the facilities immaculate. Ease of getting to machines you need and crowd monitor are A1! I would add an infrared sauna to complete the location. The only thing I would change is keeping the club music no more than medium so that those of us who listen to our own music or audiobooks don't have to compete by exceeding safe volume on earphones.

Today marks the first day I get my own first membership at any gym. I used to tag along with family to Just Move and toured around other gyms like Anytime Fitness. But none came close to the great experience I had I’ve had working out at Planet Fitness. Before I started the process of getting a membership I was greeted at the door with a friendly welcome from Randy. He helped me register a membership and gave me a tour around the place. Usually I don’t like working out in public spaces, but this place provides a safe space for those from all walks of life and I felt comfortable and at ease especially after a grueling day at work. The PF app provides so many cool features such as guided workouts, tracking your journey, and a wide variety of programs. I highly recommend the PF Black Card membership which comes with special access to their many rooms such as tanning, lounge, massage chairs, etc. You definitely get a bang for your buck with this compared to other gyms.

On a final note but certainly not least, I wanna give a huge shoutout to Randy he’s a hardworking, kind and respectful guy that is very knowledgeable on pretty much everything here! His level of professionalism and cleanliness here at this location gave me a strong and good first impression of PF. Dude should get a raise 🙌🏼 10/10

I've been going here off and on for years. The staff is great. They are all nice, fast, and attentive. There is always someone cleaning, which is nice to see. Some of the customers suck, and I do wish the staff would enforce the cleaning of the machines. But also they should pay more attention to the people. This location is by far the dirtiest Planet Fitness I’ve ever been to. It smells. The bathroom is atrocious. No soap. Showers are dirty. Hair & toilet paper everywhere. Floors are dirty. Shower curtains are busted. I would never shower here. Mirrors are dirty. The whole gym is unorganized. Clutters of equipment and weights. Looks like it hasn’t been swept or mopped ever. The mats were dingy and worn out. The cryolounge was under maintenance. The worker stayed behind the counter the whole 2 hours I was there. I don’t blame them though because if I had worked there & my coworkers didn’t do anything around the gym, why should I? The only positive I liked were the huge mirrors placed throughout the gym. Though they could’ve been wiped down. Lake Wales location is Phenomenal. It’s clean and so organized that the weights were placed in order. Their worker was constantly on the floor, cleaning and organizing. It was very impressive. Inspire to be more like them.

I workout at planet fitness fairly often with my wife and let me tell you. Every single time I go I enjoy it so much. Never have I ever in my life enjoyed working out so much. This one girl who works the front desk, Micha i think her name is, a young black woman. She is just extravagant at her job, deserves a raise or promotion or something give that girl something. She helped us sign up so quickly and easy. This other girl, tall Hispanic looking lady, Liv. She just made us feel so welcome and loved. She deserves a raise too mater of fact. I walked in to potentially sign up for service, but while doing so, I heard a staff rudely dismiss a family who was inquiring about services. For this reason I have decided to leave the premises and head over to Anytime fitness across the way. I’m giving this location two stars instead of one solely because the morning staff were pleasant and helpful. However, my evening experience was completely different.

When we arrived in the evening, the young lady at the front desk was polite but seemed unfamiliar with the rules. We came in with three adults and one child (12 years old). Before signing up, I specifically asked if my 15-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son could wait while we trained. The young lady, who I later found out was in training, assured us that it was fine and even pointed out two areas where they could sit—one in the back with sofas and one by the entrance.

As we made our way to the sofa area, she suddenly called us back and said we couldn’t sit there because another staff member, Micah, told her it wasn’t allowed. I then asked if they could wait by the entrance, and she said yes. We proceeded with signing up for two memberships—one Black Card and one Classic.

However, just as we were about to start working out, Micah came from behind the counter and abruptly told us the kids had to leave. I explained that I had just confirmed with the other staff member that they could stay, but Maicah cut me off, refused to listen, and was extremely rude. At one point, when I was trying to clarify the situation, she outright dismissed me and said, "Goodbye, I’m not talking to you anymore."

As I write this review, she is openly saying that she doesn’t care what we do, whether we write a review, or even if we speak to her manager. This is completely unacceptable behavior. It’s clear that staff training is severely lacking, both in terms of company policies and basic customer service.

Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location, and I hope management takes action to properly train their employees—especially in professionalism and respect

Called about using the total enhancement option for black card members, and this location doesn’t even have that! I thought every planet fitness was supposed to have the total body enhancement?
Sounds like this location needs a different franchisee!

Been going here for over a year. Night crew is awesome! However, I was off this week from work, so I went during the day and was kicked out mid workout for wearing crocs that I work out in every day. They allow me free ankle mobility for my squats and leg presses, but honestly its not really about that. The fact that the employee wouldn't let me finish my workout and needed me to leave immediately is ridiculous. Went to Just Move a few blocks up the road to finish my workout, and that's where I will be working out now.

Love this gym! I’ve had an excellent experience with their trainer, Yolian, who is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She takes the time to ensure proper form and use of equipment, and encourages me to push my limits for better results. Additionally, the management staff are also friendly and professional. For instance, Moe is always attentive, friendly, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He ensures stations are clean and everything is replenished/in order for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the team here is great and make my workout experience enjoyable. I look forward to my workouts.
