For some reason this 24/7 gym is not 24/7 , and I looked at other locations to make sure I wasn’t tripping and yes the one closest to me is of course the only location I’ve seen that closes early on Sundays , this needs to change it’s not in the brand to close so I’m not sure what’s up with this location but it has ruined my plans for the night

Great staff and very clean. I like that the stair machines are the type that actually have steps. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that, for well over a year now, 3 of 5 stair machines have been out of order. Two stair machines, for a club with this many clients, isn't close to enough. Please, please, please, fix or replace the stair machines.

It's a chain gym and you can't go in expecting it to be perfect as this is a very popular gym. Some of the machines are down sometimes but in their defense every machine is in heavy rotation all the time. It's hard to find a "slow" time here so they must do something right!

Edit: If you actually want to w I rk out, dont join this gym. Every machine is people sitting on them talking or putting their phone on the machine to "reserve" it or something other nonsense. Its pointless.

Let me just say, what a great experience and Ed made it a breeze signing up. He was so nice to my family and made them feel welcomed. We chose this gym based off of the reviews of all sourrounding gyms in the area. Everyone had great things to say about the gym abd the staff. They were right! This gym is super clean and plenty big with a large variety of machines and weights. Everyone does a great job of cleaning the equipment when they are finished. The staff is veary knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks for making staying healthy a breeze!

I started at this location back in November 2024 and the sign on these stair masters have been on their since then out of the five stair masters only two of them work properly but the fan doesn’t blow on the machines all of them need to
Be replaced especially since it’s such a popular machine. I also did call corporate regarding replacing the machines or fixing the broken ones they said they would follow up. Clearly a month later no action. I see the new facilities planet fitness is building I don’t understand why your company can’t replace five stair masters. 6 months later NO CHANGE DO BETTER . If the stair masters aren’t replaced soon I’ll probably just end my membership and take my money elsewhere.

Update : Two months later. We are now down only two stair masters The gym definitely needs a facelift or new machines. People linger and wait for you to use the machine because the location is a popular one. I wish the owner cared enough to update the equipment. Corporate did reach out but basically said it’s on the gym owner they can’t do much.

I am truly impressed by the quality of this Planet Fitness! I visit here with my friend and I always feel welcomed. So many types of people work out here and do things on their own terms, so it feels less scary and that you don’t have to do things the way everyone else is doing them. Possibly the most affordable in the county. A gym for the people. It's very nice, welcoming, has a good atmosphere, excellent showers, all the equipment (and they have a lot of equipment) works, and the air conditioning is OK. I think the negative reviews are mostly unfair. Four stars because it needs free weights and bench presses. Barbells and weight plates, please. The machines aren't enough to gain muscle mass!

I started going to this gym after graduating from college and realizing that I NEEDED to continue going to the gym. I got the black card and bring my friend all the time. I use this gym as a break from my studying as I am studying for the MCAT (which is a full time job in itself)!

I had to come on here and say this gym is awesome! One of the workers, Alejandro, makes this gym even better as he interacts with members and I always see him cleaning and restocking things around the gym. I was always worried about going to the gym because I feared I would be judged and I am happy to say they truly do not judge here!

Fight broke out, and staff didn't do anything about it. Made my wife and daughter uneasy. Then they took money from my account when they said they wouldn't as long as I canceled before it was removed. I canceled my membership, and they took it the day it was due, which was 3 days later. Sorry to say there was member videotaping people with himself in the gym. Plus exposing his bare chest to young girls next to him. Also vapping while he was lifting. Manager did not talk to member after someone reported it to them. It is clearly posted in the gym policy about video and dress code.

UPDATE : The people here are great but you get a lot of lip service when it comes to the equipment not working not being able to connect to the TVS for sound. It's been over 6 months now that I have been asking for them to repair. They say their tech guy is coming. Nothing happens. Looked into Planet fitness while in Cape on holidays. (We’re from Canada)
They had the option of $25USD for a total of 7 day visit. Each time you enter the gym your card will tick off 1 or the 7 days until you’ve visited 7 days total.
Very beneficial if you’re staying a short amount of time. Open 24/5!

I have been a member at this Cape Coral location for years. For some reason my phone lost the PF app. I had to reinstall it. Then needed the email associated to the account. I asked Allie for assistance with getting log in email. Allie said "just go to your email and search for Plant Fitness" as she began making a call on her cell phone. I was irritated with her lack of assistance. She then said "I don't know why you are mad" I told her "because of her lack of helpfulness " She then said " I don't have access to that information " I asked if she can cancel my membership, the answer "yes".
She then asked for my phone number. Once given she typed a few things and said " need your signature" pointing to electronic pad. I signed, she then said " you are all set". I asked for the printout. She said "I can't print from this computer" said you will get an email. I asked which email it would be sent to. She looked at the screen and confirmed the email. So I asked " you can see the email?" She said "yes". I asked her name, she said "Allie and I am calling my manager after you leave"
She felt the need to call her manager to attempt to portray herself as providing good customer service. I explained I would be notifying corporate office.
Enter this establishment at your own risk and be aware of what to expect. As for Allie, she just sucks at customer service. I'm sure I am on a long list of people who have experienced her.

Quiet, all tvs work, staff friendly depending on what day. I was there a few weeks back on the end treadmill by service desk they were throwing a tennis ball back & forth which ended up on my treadmill as I was using it... If I were a suing person I could of fallen off & sued . Need more professional staff that cares about people safety. I'm over 60 years old anyone could get hurt falling on or off of a moving treadmill I'm more at risk

The staff here is amazing and so helpful. They work very hard at keeping it clean. I’m going to be honest though the equipment needs to be updated. Most of the free weight machines are very outdated. I’ve been coming here for 4 years and it’s time. I also recommend that you fix the two big fans that are suppose to be working and have not been for quite a long time now. It’s very warm in there and no airflow makes it even warmer. Spend the money and get them fixed PLEASE!!!!

Update August 9th. The faucet in the men's locker room has been repaired. All the faucets seem better.

I have been a member at this gym for about 7 years. Until recently the equipment was well maintained and if something was out of order it would be addressed quickly.
Lately the maintenance has not been great. For example there is a stationary bike that has been out of order since at least early January when I returned to the gym from rehab. That is over 7 months!
There has been other equipment that needs attention although not as long.
The men's room sinks are a near disaster. The faucets have various issues. One sprays on the counter at full volume that is that way for over a year. There is another for which I have a picture is broken off of its mount on the counter.
These things shouldn't take this long to repair.
I know it isn't management's fault but at least once a month there is a member who will camp out on a machine like they own it. It always seems those are the machines there is only one of them. It would be great if they could remind people they are not the only ones there.

First time to this one. I honestly like how big it is and all they have to offer but I don't like how a lot of teens hog up the left area and not even working out. Also they lady that is in the front is really lacking customers service seriously. Me and my guest waited patiently for her to notice us there and she made us wait for the message bed when we went all of them were available after I ask if they are available now. It was crazy I didn't say nothing but she needs some more training she not so welcoming up front.

The club manager is a bully. She stands around gossiping with her overweight employees instead of motivating them to get out on the floor and do something good for their health. You should spend more time focusing on your health instead of being a bully. (Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself). I’m coming to this location for 3 months and stair master equipment is still broken! They have 6 of these equipment at this location and 2 are broken for at least 3 months! Today one more is not working! We as clients are charged maintenance fee and membership with no delay, but equipments are not fixed.
After one month they fixed 3 stair masters, but one is still not working.

On the plus side, the place is always clean, including restrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. Membership is cheap.
On the minus side, their machines, certainly the treadmills, are the cheapest they could buy. They don't pick up a signal from my (admittedly old) Polar heart monitor. Also, a significant number of them are out of order and have been for months. It's difficult to find 15 lb. barbells to use. It seems to be a popular weight and they should buy more. Finally, their WiFi is pretty bad. I'm not crazy about the music they play and I'm not interested in watch TV there, though there are many monitors. I want to listen to the music I like on my Bluetooth ear buds. Some days, that's no problem. But when it gets crowded, songs keep cutting out. Verizon seems not to penetrate the building for some reason, so that doesn't work either.
I have not tried any of their training programs.
All in all, not a bad facility for the money, but it seems like they could spend a bit of money on the place and provide a better experience.

This location has several recumbent bikes, treadmills and ellipticals that are either not working or the headphones won’t work, the channel won’t change as well the volume not working properly. When you mention it to the front desk, you get an “okay”. Nobody writes anything down and it’s forgotten about. Also people leave their disgusting paper towels in the water bottle holder. I joined about 6 months ago and it seems to be going downhill. I was a member up north and the gym took great pride in the conditions and members. I wish there was a closer PF to my home. We pay a $49.00 fee for maintenance and new machines. I’m not seeing that here… Disappointing
