Not crowded and easy parking. Equipment is ok. Bathrooms need better cleaning. I joined but they wouldn’t give me the key barcode and only would have me use the creepy tracking phone app where they spy on you and sell your info so I quit. Other gyms give out the barcode no problem. I don’t need these guys tracking me.

Most of the staff have an "I don't care", mindset, or you could tell they really don't want to be there. There's 2 employees that are fantastic. Everyone else should be replaced or re-trained.

Sometimes it feels like the a/c isn't working on the far side of the gym. It gets so hot. All of the ellipticals are on the far side of the gym and only in the front row. They are directly across from the weight area. It is so awkward when you are working out. Please move them to the back row or front area by the desk.

Yenessa was very welcoming with a smile and great attitude. Even when I approached her while she was cleaning equipment had a smile and great attitude. I’m a manager and would definitely hire her.
She definitely holds her title well, I need of more people like her in this gym.
I don’t wanna say nothing bad about other employees in front desk but need improvement with their greeting and people skills your in the front desk to welcome guest and scan bar code.
Overall bathroom ok with nothing being messy or in need of toilet tissue.

It is exactly what it looks like. A basic affordable gym. The machines are in good repair, the place is clean, it's almost never crowded, and the staff keeps up with everything. Only two things of note:

- For the love of God, give the staff some goddamn chairs. There's absolutely no reason to make them stand.

- If you're north of 60 I cannot imagine a better place to meet. These retirees spittin game like a bar on Friday night. It's awesome, and I am fully invested in their progress.

Overall, this gym is good and has everything you need for an efficient workout (or at least I think so). However, I can’t give it a full 5 stars because of the lighting. At night, the atmosphere feels eerily similar to the Twilight Zone.

The staff is really friendly here. The equipment is great. Everything is pretty good here but my only two complaints are that there is nowhere to sit after you get out of the shower in the women's room so you can get dressed. You're standing up the whole time after you get out. It would be nice to have a place to sit and get dressed so I don't slip on the wet floor. Other planet fitnesses have a little dressing room adjacent to the shower. My other complaint is that they have a male who cleans the women's bathroom at various times like middle of the afternoon or late at night. Depending on when you go in there and if you're sensitive to things like this, it could be a problem. For some reason, I have not noticed this situation of a man being in the women's bathroom cleaning at other planet fitnesses. Not sure why it seems more of an issue here; if it's a scheduling or staffing issue but it makes me very uncomfortable to take a shower alone in there knowing he's just around the corner.

**TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT ALERT**

I’m writing this today because I’m just appalled by the way I was treated by the General manager, or at least that’s what she said at my local planet fitness here in Casselberry, Florida. My daughter and I joined about a year ago but decided to cancel hers and just use mine. So I go in this morning to ask for her membership to be cancelled. I was greeted by a nice gentle man Hunter who tried to help but soon a young lady by the name Ariel stepped in and as I was explaining to her the situation, I would like to cancel , she saying I need to pay her annual fee. I asked to speak to the general manager, and she explained that she’s the general manager. I explain that I tried cancelling over at the Oviedo location and the girl there was telling me that my daughter can do it from the app. I explained that didn’t work. She quickly rolls her eyes at me and has an attitude towards me because she says we’re not apart of Oviedo planet fitness!!!!! I explain that I understand your different but I didn’t realize that at the time so I thought the membership was cancelled. I realized it wasn’t when I say it try to debit out of my account. That’s why I’m here. She insisted I had to pay her balance to cancel. I tried to explain the wrong information I received from the Oviedo location. She had a huge attitude towards me was rude rolling hers eyes several times at me!! and very unprofessional towards me and my situation. It made me very upset I cancelled both of my memberships and refuse to ever set foot in there again!! Not to mention that planet fitness has no way to make a complaint to any manager, and she even made a snide comment to me that even if I do go and make a complaint about her that she’ll be the one that gets it, and she smiled in my face. That is some conniving deceptive behavior! This is the work force these days. I did call her brat for how she was acting towards me. She was very entitled in her position to treat me like garbage and had glee to tell me she had no repercussion for her behavior from corporate. There’s no way to contact anyone in Corporate. I tried several numbers just 3rd party companies. She’s probably right but it made me feel better to do the review because maybe someone will see it and fire her!!

Casselberry location is not a good gym to join if you are seeking a clean environment, sanitary bathrooms, respectful staff, staff experienced in customer service. I had a poor experience with the 18 year old manager (Ariel). Ariel was extremely rude to me when I asked for information about my account. She then become more rude when I asked about tanning goggles, this experience was very unprofessional, and I truly hope planet fitness gets it together fast! I would never recommend any of my family or friends to this location.

Asking staff to properly monitor the circuit training area. The equipment is supposed to be for circuit training, but members walk in and use equipment in random order, which is disruptive and defeats the purpose of the workout. This is a Planet Fitness policy which is clearly posted on a sign at the entrance of the circuit training area. Also observed people not wiping down equipment. After Covid, and with the spike of cases this summer, should be a no-brainer.

I have not been there for some time. It is a nice facility, especially if you want to get a nasty attitude from the staff, but I canceled my membership. When employees have time at the front check-in desk, whose sole job is to check guests in, and they are standing around doing absolutely NOTHING but talking, and I interrupt them from their chat to be manually checked in, and I get massive attitude and told next time to make sure I use my app on my phone---I do not think so. I go to gyms to get away from my cell phone. I am not going to be a slave to a cell phone because a desk attendant is too lazy to do their job, and they make it perfectly clear that I am annoying them because I interrupted their discussion, it is time to cancel. A few meters away is Crunch. There are plenty of choices nearby. When this occurs it is time to go to the other gym where I am a member just down the street at LA Fitness. I told the attendant that I was the paying member, he was not. Plus, I apologized for interrupting his conversation and for actually expecting him to do his job. How dare I actually think he should do this-bad me? For the millions of dollars PF stock has been losing lately, this is not the time for staff to be giving attitude, treating current members with contempt and disrespect. This occurred at ~3 pm on 3/30/24. I left a phone message with the corporate marketing department. It will be interesting to see what they will do. My guess is probably nothing. Thanks R. Pollock.

The staff here pay attention to detail. It is never so crowded that I have to wait for a machine for a long time. The staff are all personable, pay attention to detail, and do not treat a client like just another number. I don’t like leaving my bags in the locker rooms due to the fact that I don’t trust people and I don’t trust thieves. This is the second time my workouts been interrupted by your employees advising me to put a small bag in the locker room. Why can’t I keep my back with me when I’m working out? I’ve got some things stolen from me while leaving my bag in the locker. Thus the reason why I like my bags with me. I don’t see the issue in that, but pls show a sign somewhere giving a reason why

The general manager here is insufferable, she needs to quit. I was there with a friend who brought me in as a guest because he has the black card. I got thirsty and asked an employee about buying a drink and he said 4$ and I asked about the black card discount and the GM stepped in explaining that the policy requires the black card member himself has to be the one to buy which is absolutely ridiculous because I had to walk all the way to the back of the gym, interrupt and grab my buddy from his workout, have him walk to the front just so I could get the 2$ black card membership discount for the powerade. Very silly rules and even sillier general manager (the one with the red hair and too much makeup on) Find another planet fitness to go to, there are better ones than this one

I just rejoined the gym after being away for a year. I thoroughly enjoyed working out with Dewann. He's been the best trainer l've had there. He was attentive when l told him of my injuries and didn't try to push me to lift heavier weight then what l could manage. He was encouraging when l was ready to give up on planks and l was able to make it through. I definitely look forward to working with him more to help me obtain my fitness goals.

This used to be my hometown gym before I moved. A lot has changed in the area, unfortunately, nothing has in the gym. The machines are past their prime, many broken down. The Total Body Enhancement booth was also not working. There was only one attendant working. The poor girl was trying to keep up with the desk, cleaning, and trash all by herself. I gave up on trying to tan after waiting along with another guest at the desk. They also had a sign that they would be closing early. It was a sad and disappointing experience coming home.

Did you know you can't pay with cash at Planet Fitness. Even the regional managers best idea was for me to take my cash and get a gift card to settle my balance and close my account which has been auto paying all year. I was a member at this gym. I sold my house and moved 2 hours away during Covid. The gym had closed during this time. After I relocated, a couple months went by, I called and asked to cancel my account as I no longer lived in Casselberry. I explained my situation and was told my account would be closed. I wish I had written down the man’s information that told me this but I did not. Now it’s been over 2 years since I was told my account was been closed. I recently realized my account NEVER was closed and I have been being charged this whole time every month for a gym I live 2 hours away from. I called, explained my situation (did not even ask for any refund) and was told I needed to physically walk in and cancel my account or write a letter!!! This is my letter letting you know that I will no longer be doing business with a company that does not keep their word, and that makes it harder on their customers to close an account out rather than making it easy for the customer. I have paid unknowingly for a gym membership that I have lived 2 hours away from for over 2 years!! I have stopped payment on Planet Fitness thru my bank and you will never see another dime from me and I will tell every single person I am in contact with about my experience with Planet Fitness.
