This location is not good for your safety or valuables even if your car is locked at night. That means there are creepers lurking even more on the outside…waiting for you to come out. While you’re unaware of their intentions.Too bad they didn’t get the money they wanted from me but blessings to them. GOD got them. He always does. Amen to that!

This is the second time I’ve seen a bug at this location. A few months ago, I spotted one in the ladies’ room, and now I’ve noticed another near the workout area. It’s really concerning and frankly, unsettling to see this happening repeatedly. I’m worried that these bugs might end up in my clothes while I’m trying to work out.

The environment is going down fast. The staff don’t want to help; act like we’re bothering them, and won’t clean the facilities. Too many customers standing around equipment and not using them. I’m considering going to another gym; I will try another location with hopes of a better experience.

I visit this gym approximately once a month when I’m in town, and I’ve observed that the front desk experience tends to be inconsistent. Some members are greeted warmly, while others receive little to no acknowledgment. It’s unclear whether this is a deliberate policy or simply a service gap, but it’s noticeable particularly for a facility of this caliber. Additionally, while I understand the challenges of maintaining restrooms during peak hours, the current condition after work hours leaves much to be desired.

Pretty basic clean gym. Mostly for beginners-intermediate levels of training/exercising. In that respect, it’s a good gym. Locker rooms were decent, not immaculate, but not smelly or outrageously gross. Free weights are mostly limited to dumbbells. No free weight, plate loaded, Olympic bars to use. The only bars available are Smith machines. The “Black Card” membership provides access to tanning, hydromassage, “wellness pods(??)”, “total body enhancement(??)”, and massage chairs. BC members can bring 1 guest on every visit; use any PF worldwide; 50% off drinks; free WiFi (I try not to use public WiFi unless I HAVE to). Out of 5 locations within 10 miles, the furthest from me is the only location with a Hack Squat machine. The nylon handle cable attachments are beat up, but usable. They only have one rope cable attachment, varied metal handles, and a BUNCH of nylon handle attachments. The dumbbell area gets a lot of traffic, so you have to plan working out there accordingly. Some people still stand in front of the dumbbell rack and do sets! THAT’S RUDE! Not proper gym etiquette. Grab your dumbbells, and move out of the “fire lane” so others can access the weights. My favorite machine is the hack squat, unfortunately, I have to drive 10 miles on days I want to use it. The closest Planet Fitness is 1 mile down the road. I can complete all of my workouts there, but sometimes there’s a short wait for equipment to free up. I would give it 3 stars, but since I can get to a location with a hack squat machine within a 20-25 minute drive, I’ll give it 4 stars. Plus, I only need access to that machine no more than 2x/week.

used this gym for a few years:
- it has been more crowded each year and there isn't enough equipment even during off-peak times when I go.
- club is basically dirty. at $10/month, i can deal, but it's not up to standard for me. cleaning equipment is missing/broken. bathrooms are gross, soap is literally 50/50. for many patrons, this is their only place to shower...
-parking lot is messy. people living out there, crazy driving (even around pedestrians entering/exiting), and lots of trash
Bad: too crowded, too dirty, and this is a planet fitness-the equipment selection is very basic to begin with.
Good: location is convenient and it is 24/7 with basic equipment, HVAC, water stations.

Awesome staff which does help make the atmosphere here. It's always nice to be greeted with a smile and have someone remember you. Their hydromassage tables are always well maintained and so are the stand up beds, and wellness pod. Overall out of the more than 20 locations I have visited, this is the most organized and cleanest.

The people who work at this location are very engaging, and most helpful when approached. However the men's locker room is disgusting the vast majority of the time. We had been out of town for the past few weeks, and to my surprise on Monday May 12th my first day back in almost three weeks the locker room was spotless. I could only surmise they must of recently had a corporate dog and pony show thus the only reason it was cleaned up

No problems at all with this PF location that is open and staffed 24/7, it has almost everything I look for in a gym however they have REMOVED a critically important machine I used to tighten my ab muscles that no other machine seems to do. The Cybex Eagle Abdominal Crunch if done correctly, was very effective at targeting the main ab muscle (Rectus Abdominis) to compact and tighten. I'm told the gym cannot find a replacement because Cybex no longer manufactures it. STILL, you would think as popular as that machine was from HEAVY use (which wore it out), they'd feel the need to replace it with a suitable facsimile. After 4 months, they've done zip. That said, PF is one of the best workout locations for the money and no one is in their league.

There is plenty of cardio equipment and various weight machines. Unfortunately, it takes far too long for broken equipment to be repaired. Right now, there are several machines that are broken.
The TRX straps are not mounted properly. Either management doesn't care or they don't know how to properly install the equipment. Either way, they are aware of the issue. It's kind of sad to run a gym, and you are not knowledgeable about the equipment.
Items are left lying around, and It takes some time for the staff to pick up what patrons should be putting away.
In the evening and on the weekends, there is less care of the gym and sanitation stations. The paper runs out, and bottles are half empty.

I am a blackcard member so I visit different locations. This location can use some cleaning the bathrooms specifically. Also 2 of 4 soap dispensers were empty and there was standing water on the floors and counters. The hair in the tanningbed was not OK considering I appeared not to be hair from someone's head,lol.

Great staff and a great location. Everyone who works out here is very friendly. Unfortunately this place isn't too much for me, it's mostly cardio machines. The weightlifting equipment is worn out because the limited amount of equipment and everyone trying to use the same thing. This place could use a couple of free weight squat racks and some free weight benches and a couple more hamstring curl and leg extension machines and they would get a 5 star out of me.

The most disgusting men’s bathroom/locker room I’ve ever been in. Not sure if they have ever been cleaned but if you’re planning on using it I’d advise you find somewhere else. Clogged toilets, clumps of hair in the showers, pools of dirty water everywhere. Been going to this planet fitness for over a year now but considering canceling my membership after today. It seems that the employees were allowing two men without a membership to hangout in the lounge area for the entire two hours I was there. The men were watching and making comments about the woman on the gym floor. After a hour of being made uncomfortable I mentioned something to the employee hoping they would resolve it but was basically told they didn’t see it and didn’t care that I was uncomfortable. I left the gym really upset and went to a different planet fitness.

Overall a good value for the money spent.

The restrooms need a good DEEP cleaning. I have mentioned this to front desk staff 3 or 4 times, with the same response...we are scheduled to do that this week. The walls in the stalls have not been wiped down as long as I have been a member, I know this because the same spots are always there.
A lot of the equipment also needs a good deep cleaning, dust built up on the bottom of most machines, a swiffer is not meant to clean gym equipment.

The staff are great, especially the gentleman that works late afternoon/early evening, about 5'8, heavy set, dark hair in a pony tail, and always a smile.

I understand that some positions are harder to fill than others; I am disappointed that the trainer left in late February/early March with no replacement. I asked about this and was told that they are working on it, it is a challenge to fill that position because it does not pay very well.

Large PF! Clean, nice facility with lots of workout machines. Large Black Card Spa area with 2 seated hydrobeds and 2 flat hydrobeds in addition to the other spa/massage choices. Huge lobby with lots of outlets. The quick-use lockers are super with a programmable lock built into each locker door.

I always have a decent workout session at the PF in Regency. The gym is big with lots of room and equipment. You can go in with a "was this a mistake to work out tonight attitude" but that quickly gets disappears once you warm up. I start with anything that ups my heartbeat with one of the cardio machines whether it's a treadmill, Arc Trainer or stationary bike. Once my pulse is up, the rest of my session is easier. I like the premium Black Card membership because it allows me to use ANY PF anywhere and a change of venues helps to keep my momentum up. The enemy of any exercise regimen is boredom, so I do what I need to diversify. I've noticed that I workout LONGER when I've had some tanning or infrared light exposure too. Its been proven that INFRARED LIGHT exposure is good the body, do some research on Red Light Therapy, you'll find out. We don't get enough natural sunlight light for any number of reasons but you NEED some sunlight (WITHOUT poisonous sunscreens) Why do athletes always look so healthy? It's because they're outside more than they are INSIDE. It's not all youthful vigor, they are exposed natural light which we need.

Planet Fitness is a fun place to stay fit! The hydromassage is wonderful after an intense workout! Most members are mainly focused on their fitness regiment and that keeps everyone focused.

They don’t have trainers right now for their “included classes” and they have no explanation. But by “they” I mean the one dude behind the counter wasn’t giving me any more information. He just let me complain then agreed with me and that’s nice. So one star for the solid support staff who is just as confused as me!

Okay so I have thought about it and here is the only reason I can think of for their lack of management. Planet Fitness went through a highly publicized promotion ($10 wow!) Then they fired their higher paying trainers to accommodate for their loss in revenue, and refuse to either promote from within and/or won’t hire more professionals.

Who knows? I could call and ask but why! Sounds like this company isn’t worth my time at this time (April 2024).

One of the BEST PF I have been to!! So spaced out and enabled more cardio. The one of the many things I enjoyed at this particular location is TRX!! I’m a hardcore TRX user and they got 4 TRX in the back while many gym had either one or none. Thank you for making this gym so productive and functional!!

I will be placing my membership under the investigation with the channel 12 and channel 6 News here in Jacksonville Florida for planet fitness membership. Manager refused to cancel membership after repeatedly scheduling appointments to cancel the membership repeatedly calling setting up meetings with manager to cancel membership being lied to at front desk about the request to remove debit card information from membership as well, I was meeting to cancel my membership moving out of town, call location to set up an appointment to cancel my membership numerous of times with manager set an appointment early 5:00 a.m. morning and she was not there so another appointment for another time when told with front desk representative that the manager would be there she was no longer there again at this point I'm assuming that she is dodging me and does not want to cancel my membership I am currently at an outstanding balance no longer living the Florida area still trying to get a simple membership canceled This is ridiculous!!! Warning do not join this gym location!!!! 🛑

Been coming here for a while mostly because it’s halfway between my work and home. I come mostly for the stair climbers but 3 of the six stairclimbers have been broken for WEEKS!!! That 50% of them. When I ask when the others will be fixed they always say “next week”. Never happens. Very disappointing

Been coming here for a couple years now and this gym is about what I would expect for $10/month. Garrett, at the front desk, is awesome and always willing to help! He’s the only person I ever see working (greeting people, replacing paper towels, etc) and most mornings he’s the only staff member there.

👍Likes: equipment selection, space to workout, chill atmosphere, not usually crowded in the first part of the day, plenty of parking, easy to access location, reasonable pricing

👎Dislikes: equipment needs more frequent maintenance, the showers are usually disgusting (moldy, smelly, filled with trash), locks get left on for days (limiting available storage), locker rooms could use more frequent cleaning
