I was a member for probably 6 to 8 years until 2024.
I signed up about 10/31and have been there 10-12 times.
On 11/28, after being on the treadmill for about 4 minutes, the young guy from the front desk comes over, in front of other people, and basically tells me my account is not in good standing.
I go to the front desk and pull up my checking account where it shows November 17th, they billed me for the month.
He didn't seem to know how to explain anything and of course there's no manager there early in the morning.
He said the manager wouldn't be in until tomorrow and that I could stay, but there was no way and I left... for good.
11/28 - I went back on the same day and cancelled my membership. I signed up with a new gym elsewhere.
12/1 - Today, I show their admin fee of $52.43 on my checking. That should have been billed a long time ago, so I feel they screwed up.
They should refund that $52.43 to me.

Our regular Planet Fitness was under construction so we decide to visit the one in Ramblewood Coral Springs and the experience was amazing from the moment we entered, we were greeted with all pleasantry and inside the equipment were cleaned and everything was in place I would definitely recommend this Gym

This is by far the dirtiest planet fitness ive been in. From the 10 memphis locations, Arkansas, to ft Lauderdale to this place... no one at front desk. A sign stating staff on floor yet I saw no one with a purple shirt on or a name tag.....the locker rooms were filthy....carpet in changing area looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in years. I looked into the bathroom area and in the showers and I wouldnt use those areas, they are filthy. I would hate to see what kinda staph germs are crawling around. I cut my workout short because all the equipment is dirty and nothing in its place. Free weights everywhere, accessories everywhere as well ad i felt like I may catch something it I continued. I didn't venture into spa obviously however I couldnt anyways as there wasnt any staff to assist. Super disappointed. I would think the health department needs to give a visit. And PF corporate needs to take a peek..... simply coral springs, fl is not a run down bad place....its as if no one has cleaned anything since opening.....if I could give 0 stars I would.

This place has gone down hill. The bathrooms are alwsy gross and the front desk employees seem like they do not want to be there. Most of them sit on the floor on their phones and never greet with a smile. I have been contemplating canceling my membership but they give you the run around. Lastly... it's high time gyms put up a sign that say "recording anyone without consent is strictly prohibited, violating this will result in permanent removal and your membership being terminated" it is becoming very uncomfortable at these gyms and im over it.

In my personal opinion, this is one of the worst locations you could choose to join. I contacted the gym for assistance about a non authorized charge and the manager was on vacations so they invited me to call the NEXT week until she could be back in the office claiming no one could do anything related payments without her. After that, I called one week after and when I spoke with the manager she didn't helped me at all and after being on the phone for 40 minutes with her without a solution and explaining her I had proofs (screenshots) I could share with them and she answering that I couldn't send them info through email and it would have to be in person she decided to leave me on hold until I got bored to hang up the phone. I call again and of course no one answered me the phone and when they did someone else was on the line saying that the manager had an emergency meeting. I requested once again speak with a manager and he put me on hold again with the same strategy waiting for me to get tired and forget about it. I called again exhausted about trying to get help without no one caring about the terrible customer service they offered and requested to cancel my membership that they said it was canceled.

I would never recommend planet fitness to my friends or go to this location. when they dont care about their consumers.

Is so frustrating that they dont have a contact and when you try to get help from the manager she will react this way leaving me on the phone unattended and then avoid to speak with me.

READ BEFORE AGREE to this gym because they won't solve anything for you.

I have been meaning to get to this review for sometime now and as Larry, an overnight attendant, is leaving, I wanted to make sure I did. It! This Location is one of my favorite Planet Fitness. Larry and Rose both are 2 of the best people I have met at PF. They always keep the gym in tip top shape overnight. Very friendly and good folks over all. The management has been nothing but 100! the total body enhancement has been out for atleast 3 weeks, they just fixed it a week ago but the bulbs are out in some areas +

I love this location! The staff are very nice and it’s a chill gym environment. I’ve been training with Emilie and she’s AMAZING! I’ve been consistent with my training sessions and I’m already starting to see results. And thats all thanks to Emilie. Out of all the locations this one is the nastiest. First you walk in and usually there is no one at the front desk or on one occasion one rep is behide the desk and another is sitting on top of the desk talking to each or on their phone. No greetings are ever given. Secondly the bathrooms have mildew and mold all over that is there for months. No tiolet seat covers. Bathrooms are always in this condition. Please see attached pictures. The entire gym smells like mold from multiple roof leaks that are visible. This location is not a proper representation of planet fitness!

I can't for the life of me understand how you can engage in the hypocrisy of claiming to be Judgement Free and having a sign and alarm implemented in order to judge an entire class of people.

Got a gallon of water? Judged. Got a body builder shirt on? Judged. Make a certain noise straining to life? Judged. Judged to the point where it may set off an alarm.....

I went to YouFit first, then planet fitness. I can't begin to explain how happy I am that I switched to EOS over a year ago. No one should tell me how to act, what type of water container to use, or that I can't wear a certain shirt as a man.

I like it here so far. The staff is really friendly and helpful. And I LOVE the HydroMassage...OMG!!!💞 Chris, one of the trainers, has an energetic and really easy-going personality (looking forward to his training expertise). Convenient location. Even at its busiest, I was still able to use (most of) the machines I wanted. So far, so good. Will update if anything noteworthy happens.

Mar. 2023: Over a year later, and I'm still coming here. Most of the staff has changed, haven't had much interaction with the new staff but they seem responsive and helpful. There are busy times here, and there are machine-hog-timewasters here, be warmed. But I still like coming here so far.

I've been working out at many gyms in my life from NY to Florida and have found that this gym is one of the best. It is always kept clean and the equipment is never broken. There are many treadmills which is great for someone like me that loves to run. They are smooth and not noisy. The staff ALWAYS welcomes you in when you arrive and says a Greeting before you leave. I was threatened at this gym. While I was doing lateral raises a random guy threatened to crack my skull open with a dumb bell. He cursed me out and called me slurs. I went to the front desk and told them the situation. I then left for a while in hopes that the guy would leave while I was gone or staff would kick him out. The staff had a conversation with the guy while I was gone and said it was fine. Unfortunately, when I returned I had to continue my workout while the guy cursed at me from across the gym. Luckily, he left shortly after. They refused to kick him out or cancel his membership. As an establishment your customers safety should be your first concern. There is NO gym etiquette here. I was threatend with a barbell today by someone who had multiple machines "reserved" with towels & water bottles.
This was the 2nd time someone tried to get physical with me at this place. The first was a guy talking on his phone just sitting on a machine for 20 minutes.
I asked the staff for help and they did nothing. One staff member told me "there was a huge fight in here over someone using a cell phone."
I cancelled on my way out.
If you are an older person like me looking for a safe and friendly place to work out, go somewhere else.

Always friendly people at the desk when you walk in and always eager to help if needed, the equipment is always clean and functional and the men’s locker room/ bathroom and showers are also nice smelling and very clean an tidy as well, I primarily go on Sundays early so my review honestly is based on only one day a week so unfortunately I cannot comment on weekly activities for those of you that workout during the week, for me this gym is very close to my home and plenty of parking when I go, the price seems to be reasonable, but I have not gone gym shopping in years, just wish they had a steam room and a sauna that’s why only gave 4 stars unless they have them and I have never seen them but don’t think so, possibly it’s not permitted? It’s a great thing to have after a good workout;
if you enjoy that, you might want to inquire about that first, otherwise everything else is very nice and serves my purpose, a nice selection of free weights, machines and all the treadmills and those sort of cardio machines, one might need, they also have suntan beds, massage chairs and water massage beds which are pretty cool and helpful, also they sell sports drinks snacks, towels and shirts if you’re into that, their is also a large selection of lockers all around to put your valuables in while you’re working out, I truly hope my review has helped anyone thinking of joining this establishment.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and being helped by Lauren from Planet Fitness from the Tamarac location. I was immediately greeted by her beautiful smile. She helped me become a Black card member and explained many of the features of the facility. Employees such as her make it a wonderful experience. This Planet Fitness location is great. Open 24 hours and there’s always machines available anytime of day. This is the best Planet Fitness Ive ever been to! Hands down. They are always cleaning, and the ENTIRE staff including the manager always greets everyone and is so friendly. They are super helpful. I recently moved, and there is a planet fitness by my house but i travel further and out of my way just to come to this one because of how comfortable it feels. I transferred my membership from this branch . This branch is the poorest and least maintained of all branches in the 20 or so I have ever visited It takes weeks to fix anything Equipment needs cleaning and lubricant many of the adjustment rods are lacking the orange pull knob . As well the horizontal row machine does not have the complete rubber covering ing for the handles so during rowing most of your hand is in bare metal. Coral spring facility is super clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is delightful the music is super relaxing. Love it !!!

I hate to give this planet fitness any stars ,not only are the facilities extremely dirty ( spit on the ground ,uncleaned bathrooms ) but the way Debbie runs her staff is outrageous its as if their a gang, i watched them ridicule someone who came in for a workout over gym fees, literally pulling her off the treadmill it went from 1 person asking to 4 people behind the counter asking ,just shouting insults at the poor young lady as she left The little older woman who works there was the worst she literally mumbled insults in front of me as if i would agree. I immediately left and joined another gym. I hate public display of hate.

Debbie the so called club manager has the worst mouth on planet earth DO NOT SEND ANYINE YOU LOVE THEY WILL JUDGE YOU and have the nerve to charge your card and leave messages on your account in hopes of denying you from every Planet Fitness
