I don’t live close enough to this place for it to be my primary gym but I recently visited with a guest pass and it’s easily the nicest, cleanest, and ironically cheapest gym in the Davie/ Hollywood/ Fort Lauderdale area. I’m just amazed at how it beats out places that are 8x the price. Clientele is also respectful and keeps to themselves. Don’t discount this gym you’re skeptical of the facility due to the price; definitely check it out if you’re close by.

What’s the point of a 24 hour gym if you get a do not parking sticker for going to the gym in the middle of the night after work? When there are many vehicles parked permanently in the parking lot as there vehicles have never moved for the multiple times and different times I have gone and been in the plaza. I guess I will be canceling my membership and taking my business somewhere else where I don’t have to worry about going to a 24 hour gym without getting a do not park sticker. Oh best part is if you get the black card membership. They claim there isn’t an annual fee but a month after I joined I got hit with an annual fee.

Austin is the elite trainer I needed in my corner. Hi, I’ve been a Black Card member at Planet Fitness in Davie for about a year now. Recently, I noticed a couple of unexpected late fees on my account and wasn’t sure why they were charged. I visited the gym to get some clarity, and Stephen, the manager helped me.

The gym in general is good, it is clean, the employees are friendly. I have no complaints about the facilities. However, I understand that the gym is a place to clear your mind and relax a little. It is difficult when the 9 or 10 televisions in room 4 or 5 are tuned to the news... My suggestion is to have something that generates less stress, such as sports, movies, or music videos. Surely many will not be affected by the comment, but with the current political climate the gym is one of the places where one can be mentally safe, as long as there is no news on the screens. This gym needs to update their hydrobeds please call someone to look at them. They always say they are working and they aren’t. Trash overflows. I really enjoy this gym. The front desk is so friendly and helpful and they don’t try to make you feel stupid like so many other gyms. It is very welcoming. The only thing they can improve on, is that when equipment breaks, it takes a month for them to fix it. It’s always a high demand item of course, wear and tear, but I wish they repaired these items in a week or so. I am not a trainer and don’t know 5 other ways to target the same muscle. So it really throws me off and I lose what improvement I have gained.

I am a new member of PF and I must say I am also a novice to fitness. This morning I've decided to go to the Davie, Florida PF gym to start my fitness journey, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Courtney, one of the personal trainers. She immediately took me under her wing and gave me a complete orientation of the gym. She went over every piece of equipment in the gym with me and made sure I felt comfortable using them. She answered all my questions and concerns promptly. Courtney is very personable, patient, reliable, respectful, jovial, loves what she does and does it wholeheartedly. I really didn't know what to expect when I arrived there, but meeting with Courtney made a great impression on me and her enthusiasm and positive attitude will encourage me even more to continue with my journey.

This gym is fairly new. I love it. It's very clean. There are alcohol bottles and paper towels in every corner. Machines work smoothly. They have invested a lot in the equipment. It's not a huge gym, but big enough to fit all kinds of machines: cardio, free weights, 30-minute circuit, and stretching area. The showers and lockers are nice. There is a spa with massage chairs and tanning booths. I love the massage chairs! The staff is super nice. The trainer, her name is Courtney. She's a doll. Super nice. She's helping with my current goal to lose 50 lbs in 3 months! We are being aggressive! Let's see if I can do it.. Lol After 1 session, I couldn't walk for 4 days. She is doing an entire work out plan for me, and she helps me with nutrition too. I get daily feedback from Courtney. She also shares a whole bunch of tips and resources. Very informative, which I appreciate. Its been a week. I've lost 7 lbs. I feel more energy. They open 24 hours Monday thru Thursday. Friday thru Sunday they close at 9pm. It's worth every penny. The only thing I'd change is the music. I wish they'd pump it up and blast the place! Who is the DJ here??? Lol But I get it, you can't please everyone and most people want to listen to their own headphones. I've had memberships at other gyms before, but here I feel most comfortable. People mind their business and no one is hounding the members trying to sell them on anything. I can't wait for my results in January!

I loved my training from Courtney she is such a nice person and is incredibly helpful. During our trainings she gives great feedback on how you can correct your form and she pushes you to do you best. Love her!

Overall 10/10 experience. The desk receptionist are always welcoming and helpful. Courtney is the best trainer! She helped me feel more motivated to go to the gym. With her workout plans and meal recommendations I started seeing results within a month! I 100% recommend her for workout training

Horrible Experience – Rude Staff and Racial Profiling

My experience at this gym was nothing short of terrible. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rude and unwelcoming staff. What made matters worse was the blatant racial profiling—I felt like I was being followed and watched throughout the entire time I was there, which made it impossible to focus on my workout or feel comfortable.

Even though the manager tried to address the situation, the overall atmosphere and treatment by the staff left a bad taste in my mouth. No one should have to deal with such behavior at a place meant for health and well-being. I will definitely not be returning and cannot recommend this gym to anyone seeking a welcoming and respectful environment.

Courtney the trainer is absolutely awesome. I have done legs, abs, stretching, 30 min circuit with her and absolutely love her style. She pushes you to your limit and yet shows that you are her top priority every time. Love the gym overall as well. Nice location, equipment. New location

Been a member a year, mostly been trying to do my own program but decided today to experience the free training. Courtney, has a positive personality and an understanding Outlook on each person's strengths/weaknesses. She motivates without aggressive pressure. Based on my first session with her, I could only perform for 15 mins of her 30 min sessions. She created a HIIT style routine for my lower extremities, which definitely pushed me to a limit for the day. I had no more energy left to do anything else, lol. Normally I workout a full hour so I will be returning for more of her expertise!

Stopping in today, I was greeted by the staff one of which was Courtney (the PT) she asked about my whereabouts since I've skipped a few months. Upon explaining my health, she listened to my concerns. After careful thought, we set up a few sessions next week to hopefully get my body back in shape. Looking forward to her training. She really understands.

What a wonderful unparalleled place to be!!! I needed to rebuild muscle after significant weight loss.
When I signed up I wasn't sure how to navigate from this point forward. I was offer a no cost fitness coach n what a difference it is making. My coach is Courtney n I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgable n expert person at Davie location. She listened and is helping me design a fitness program that is working. Planet Fitness is bright...clean...friendly and the workout equipment is 💯 complete. I went back not knowing how to navigate a changed body n found it was made so easy at Planet Fitness with Courtney

I am extremely disappointed with the management of this company. I have been charged $113 for 3 late fees and other additional charges without any prior explanation or notification. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out to the manager, I have been consistently met with empty promises from the employees who assure me that she will contact me. It has been two weeks and I have yet to hear from her. I have made a total of 6 calls, but they have been unsuccessful in connecting me with the manager. Unfortunately, due to work-related travel, I am unable to visit the premises in person to address this issue. It is disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism in handling customer concerns. I have been a loyal customer for many years, and it is unacceptable that when it comes to enrollment, they provide excellent service, but when faced with problems like this, no one, not even the management, can handle the situation in a satisfactory manner. As a result, I have decided to cancel my subscription. I will not be returning in the future.

one thing about courtney (personal trainer) she will have you working for your goals during your 30 minute workout. It might not see the results within a week but give a month or two and you’ll see them! You might feel discouraged at first but after the workout you’ll feel so much better(:

Planet Fitness in Davie is the most unhelpful gym in south Florida. My daughter tried to cancel her membership in 2023 and instead of canceling it they put it on freeze. Then started to charge my credit card without any notification. My daughter has not attended planet fitness in over 13 months and they would not refund the monthly or annual charge. The management was completely unhelpful and need to go back to customer service training. I strongly recommend as a mother to send send your teenagers to this location since they treat you horribly. I plan to file a complaint to the BBC about this situation and then hopefully they will learn about customer service rather than treat teenagers poorly.
