Clean gym with a nice location and good parking. Staff is not exceptionally friendly but they also aren't rude. Nice equipment as per all planet fitness locations in all states I've reviewed. I wish they would do more maintenance on the equipment. There is always broken equipment and it takes them weeks to get it repaired. They can work on the cleanliness, overall it’s not a bad gym it just needs some upgrades and people to be on top of things. The outside parking sometimes feels sketchy.

Not the cleanest gym. Locker room locks old fashioned small. I was trying to freeze my account because I was not attending, they told me they didn’t have the option. After two moments I did downgrade the member since where I am at I could attend as much. So they charge a monthly fee, and $15.00 late fee I call to ask them to remove after I called a few times manger never return my call arguing with me for about 20 minutes that he couldn’t and it’s like having a Netflix , idk what he talking and don’t care and use Netflix plant fitness. Just base on the conversation I decided to do a review on the gym, and wont go back if decided I wanted to for the future.

Entering and leaving the club is always a pleasant experience. The front desk staff warmly welcomes you upon arrival and departure. Decided to update my negative review after my visit today. Club was clean and all equipment working. Paper towel dispensers were full and water fountains were functioning properly with a new filter for the bottle dispenser. The computer system was also working again so I could check in with my QR code in the app. Front desk staff was friendly and helped me book a hydro-massage the same way. I like the newer hydro-massage chairs and it was very relaxing after my workout. Definitely feel like I'm getting my money's worth now. Thanks PF!

The gym isn’t very clean. Locker rooms I don’t think are ever touched with cleaning equipment. Usually get an attitude at the desk upon checking in. No consistency as far as checking guests in, usually staff just waives guest through. There are a bunch of bullies posing as victims at this location.

I had a very frustrating experience with this Planet Fitness location. I moved out of state in December 2024 and canceled my membership before the renewal date and annual fee were due. Since they don’t allow cancellations over the phone, I had to go out of my way to buy a letter, envelope, and stamp just to send them a handwritten cancellation notice—clearly stating I did not want to be charged and that I was canceling on time.

Despite doing everything by the book, they still charged me the annual fee as well as another month of the membership fee, and when I contacted them about it, they refused to issue a refund. This all happened while I was in the middle of a move, getting married, and starting a new job, so I wasn’t able to write this review until now—but it still bothers me how poorly they handled the situation.

It’s unacceptable to force customers to jump through hoops to cancel and then still overcharge them. I would not recommend this location based on their lack of integrity and poor customer service.

Joined this facility when I moved down from Kentucky. Was told by regional manager on first visit that tanning beds weren't working but they'd be running next week. 1 week later, tanning beds are still down and no repair date in site. This facility and the North Fort Myers facility(where half the bulbs are out in most of the beds) really need to reconsider their management. I will be canceling my membership and definitely do not recommend these 2 facilities.

After cancelling my membership here, I was charged by direct debit for two additional months (and running). I spoke with Tatyana, the manager, and she said that the overnight employee I cancelled with had made a mistake. However, I have called to follow up over the past two months and they still have no new information and nobody else I can follow up with. If I could give zero stars, I would. From the moment I walked in, I regretted it. The employees are some of the rudest, laziest people I’ve ever encountered. The person at the front desk barely acknowledged me, chewing loudly on a greasy burger while scrolling on their phone. When I asked for help with a machine, another employee sighed dramatically and said, ‘Just Google it.’ Really? Great customer service.

The gym itself is a disaster. Half the equipment is broken, and the other half looks like it belongs in a museum. The place is filthy—sweaty machines, trash everywhere, and a locker room that smells like mold and despair. The staff doesn’t care; they just stand around gossiping or making fun of customers. So much for ‘judgment-free.’

But the real nightmare came when I tried to cancel my membership. I discovered you can’t cancel online or over the phone—no matter how much you beg. They force you to come in person to cancel, like it’s 1995 or something. And when you finally show up, they make the process as frustrating as possible. I had to fill out some ridiculous paperwork and deal with an employee who looked like they’d rather be doing anything else. They even smirked and said, ‘We make it hard to cancel for a reason.’ Highway robbery!

This gym is a scam from start to finish. The rude staff, disgusting environment, and predatory membership policies make this the worst gym I’ve ever set foot in. Save yourself the trouble, money, and sanity—go anywhere else.

I have been attending this place regularly for about 3 years, I had never had any concerns, but recently they put a small young woman with curly black hair to work in the mornings who has a very bad attitude with respect to customers, I let the general manager know and they told me that that is her character and they canceled my membership because I supposedly signed a contract that I cannot record, and I am very sure that many of those who read this writing will know who I am talking about because several people who attend here know of the bad treatment that she has towards others, I will never return, she needs education and please if someone knows who I can contact above them as a manager let me know, thank you

The gym is going downhill. The hydro massage chairs are not all operating. Massage chairs are not all working, tanning booths are not consistent, clean or maintained, and old. I’ve been going to this gym for about a year. The men are creepy. The bathrooms are always DISGUSTING and not cleaned properly with mold and scum everywhere. They constantly change the lay out and make it more cramped. They have one room ducked off in the corner where all the ab workouts are and it has no fan or ventilation. It’s stuffy and gross. You can literally feel and smell the moisture in the air. If you’re going to buy new machines that literally no one uses, atleast invest in a fan for that area!!!!

the management & staff is always turning over. Most of the time half Black Card Spa massage equipment is not working and doesn't get fixed for months. Today I waited over 15 minutes for hydro or chair and watched 2 other people be given the slot I signed up for that was available. when both were free noone offered to start them for me. when I went up by check in I was ignored. when I asked if I may use it now I was told I was hostile and still not given a chance. UPDATE. 2 YEARS LATER.
Since I posted my original review I am sad to report that this club has NOT improved and it's actually gotten worse. I am lowering my review from 3 stars to 1 star.

Let me state that I now go to a different club about 70% of the time. I drive 20 minutes further to avoid this club. Recently, I have had issues with the staff. One female employee with glasses literally kicked me off a machine so she could clean it. I said, hey I really need to finish because I'm on a time crunch..she said, "well I need to clean this machine. It's my job." I said "Can't you do the 20 other unoccupied machines in this row while I finish?" She said "No" then started ignoring me and cleaning it while I talked.. I timed it. I stood and waited 5 full minutes while she used a feather duster wiping dust off the chest press while I stood there. Finally, realizing she was just being controlling and delighting in making me wait, I said, "ok, that's enough. I'm the customer, and customers come first so I'm finishing" and I sat back down and continued my workout. At that point she started screaming at me from behind in the middle of the gym, with 20 other people watching. She called me names. She said i was a childish grown man. I said nothing more while she ranted. At the end, I went to say something in a normal voice to smooth things over, because I wasn't mad, I was actually surprised that this young girl just started screaming at a client while working. She cut me off and said "I'm not talking to you! Go away!" I finished my workout, then walked up to the front desk and told the manager that an employee kicked me off a machine to clean it and asked if that is their policy. He said YES surprisingly. He said she is told to clean all the machines by a certain time. This was at 5:45pm so as I understand it, she waited until the last minute and made her problem, my problem. I said, "this is the busiest time of the day. It's after 5pm. It's the after work rush. Wouldn't it be better if she cleaned them during the afternoon when it's slow?" He said " it's her choice when she does it and she needs to get it done." End of story. Employee vs Customer. I lose.

The bathrooms are still disgusting and I would recommend going to the location toward Fort Myers Beach. It is always very clean. The employees have yet to scream at me. Actually, they pretty much smile and say hello and I haven't had any problems like this location.

One last thing, and I don't know if I'm right or not on this one. When I tan, the employees sometimes insist on verifying my eye protection. Not just asking me, but insisting to see the actual goggles. I can say yes I have them but they want me to actually show rhem. One time I said "what, you don't trust me?" She said it's in the policy that we have to ask and see them. Perhaps it's the previous issues stacking but I said "ok, let me see the policy." She said, it's in your email. You can look it up. I said "I'd rather you pull up a copy." She wouldn't so I looked up mine." The policy does not say I should be grilled and required to SHOW the employees the eye protection. I will attach a screenshot of the policy to this review. It says eye protection is required. It does NOT say they will be policing club guests. I think this bothers me because the other issues stack on top of it. This is a fitness club, not a hospital. Safety policies can require something but a policy's purpose is to protect against lawsuit. It is needed to protect the business, not to empower employees to give the 3rd degree to guests. What's funny, is that not every employee does this, so obviously it's not THAT important.

I hate giving low reviews and will change it if things improve. The men's bathroom and locker rooms are disgusting. Urinals have rust, urine all over them. Mirrors have pictures of genitals drawn on them. Showers have mold and flies. Lots of flies. These pictures don't do it justice. It has been this way for months. Please get this cleaned up .

This place is an absolute dump! I’ve stayed at budget motels that were cleaner. 1 functioning toilet in the men’s bathroom! Same garage has been on the floors for weeks, there are sewer flies all over the men’s locker room. This place is a health hazard to say the least…. Let my pictures speak for themselves. I happened to be in the area, and this was my first time at this planet fitness. I have never had an employee ask me why I didn’t work out before wanting to go tanning. Visiting from out of state. Disappointing how absolutely dirty it is inside. The locker room/bathroom is filthy. Doesn’t look like the toilets have been cleaned in a month. Equipment is dirty. Doesn’t look like anyone cleans or wipes down equipment after using. There is weights and used paper towels all over the workout floor.

Have been a member for two years. I moved away. They WILL NOT allow me to cancel my membership unless I show up in person. This is a massive scam. So I need to travel to FL and go to the specific location because, "we need you to sign some documents on the tablet in person." This is a massive scam. This cannot be real.

Weights section always crowded so have to wait for bench. Staff isn't the friendliest so you should know how to use the equipment. Female bathroom stalls almost always have 1 or more out of order. Whoever owns and/or manages this particular PF doesn't seem to care much about its reputation. Was just on the West Coast and went as a visitor (they honored a Day Pass coupon that this one wouldn't) to a PF and it was clean, impressive, and had a friendly staff in comparison.
