I just got done with the birthday workout down here in Miami. I wanted to leave this review for Anna because she was so nice! She actually walked me back to the massage chair and put the time on for me. I told her she must've known it was my special day because it made me feel special.
Somehow the machine glitched and put 88 minutes on🫨 😎. I know right, Happy Birthday to me 🥳. After about 25 minutes I was done because who needs an hr & a half of deep tissue torture? Not me 😂. So after I got done for the day I went for my usual post workout hydro bed treatment and she walked me back again! When I was done with that one she offered to give me even more time. And I met a few members who were extremely pleasant on top of that. These things don't normally happen all in one day so I wanted to commend her for a job well done! I'll be back to this location the next time I'm around!

The truth is, this gym leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the machines are damaged or malfunctioning, and the worst part is that they've been like this for weeks (some even months) without anyone bothering to fix them. You pay your membership expecting a place in good condition to work out, not to guess which equipment is still working. It gives the impression that management doesn't care about the customer experience or the upkeep of the facility. It's disrespectful to the members who continue to pay every month for a service that isn't delivered. If they don't start taking action and fix the machines, I definitely wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone.

La verdad este gimnasio deja mucho que desear. La mayoría de las máquinas están dañadas o no funcionan bien, y lo peor es que llevan así semanas (algunas hasta meses) sin que nadie se preocupe por repararlas. Uno paga su membresía esperando un lugar en buenas condiciones para entrenar, no para estar adivinando qué equipo todavía sirve. Da la impresión de que a la administración no le importa la experiencia del cliente ni el mantenimiento del lugar. Es una falta de respeto hacia los socios que seguimos pagando cada mes por un servicio que no se cumple. Si no comienzan a tomar medidas y reparar las máquinas, definitivamente no recomiendo este gimnasio a nadie.

Love the gym! Friendly atmosphere. Lots of ample room for work out! That's a plus! Unfortunately when it comes to cleanliness and odors they are not what you would like! From the moment you walk in, you notice the order! It needs to be cleaned. I don't mean sweeping, dusting clean i mean DEEP CLEANING! they need to clean the floor mats. Deodorize the carpets! It smells of OLD sweat! They close early on weekend, they should spend some money at least once a month and DEEP CLEAN DEODORIZE the carpets!
Restrooms! The showers are not as clean as a few years ago! U can see the soap scum on the walls. The shower heads barely release water from the stuck on soap scum and the hard water deposits. The shower curtains need washing or replacing. They too are dirty from soap scum and let's not think about the dirt & grime from the bodies that are showering! I've been a member since 2020 and I can honestly say back then it was a delight to walk into the gym. The place smelled clean, odor free. The showers, shower curtains, shower walls, were clean! I understand times are hard. I get it! But, lowering standards is not the way to save money. Black card members pay for these extras. We want to workout, shower and leave. We DON'T want to walk into a moldy smelling building, and shower in disgusting showers where we are risking an infection because of the lack of cleanliness and bacteria.

As a member , who frequently visits Planet Fitness locations across the Southeast, this particular gym is the worst I've encountered. poor cleanliness, including trash on the floor, grimy machines, and disorganized weights. The staff was inattentive, spending time on FaceTime instead of working, bottle filler was broken. Overall, I feel this location significantly lowers the standard for Planet Fitness.

9 June: legendary service has failed. Today was another sloppy gym with weights all over the place, weights racked all over the place, and weights all over the floor, even the bar weights. Don’t believe me? Walk around d yourself between 4-7 PM. . It is a matter of time before someone slips on these weights and sues this establishment . 16 May: practically empty and all the free weights are somewhere else. Staff needs to do a better job of keeping the areas meet and equipment where it’s supposed to be. Too many cardio machines, not enough workout equipment. Small free weight area. People are allowed to hog all the free weights and some don’t bother to put them back. Please patrol area.

This is my first time going to this gym, there was a cleaning lady moping the floor I went to the other side and she just looked at me with a mad face and telling me “caballero paya pal otro lado” with a bad attitude and I have to talk to the guy on the register and tell her to that lady to fix he attitude, whereas other people walk on the same wet side and she treated them nicer, not going back to this place again.

Staff is ok , the people who go to the gym can be rude at times but not really the gyms fault for that, showers sometimes is a bit moldy like it’s not cleaned often enough.weights are often out of place and won’t be picked up and put back on the racks. There’s signs that gym bags should be on the floor yet people still do it and staff dosent say anything. I like the equipment they offer but often times either broken or the reps and time meter on the equipment often times isn’t even working or working properly. Experience is ok, might look else where when my year is up.

I just came here because I needed to cancel my membership and the employee at the front, Angie, was extremely unhelpful and rude to me. She kept telling me it couldn’t be done and that I would have to come back when a manager is present. I asked her if there was any way possible, and she insisted it could not be done. She expressed zero empathy when I explained to her that I am in the middle of moving and had just driven for over half an hour to come take care of this. (Planet Fitness requires you to cancel your membership in person and it has to be at your “home club”) I don’t live nearby anymore and it’s an hour drive round-trip for me. So naturally I wasn’t too happy with how this was going. As her bad attitude and sarcasm continued, I realized she was clearly not going to make any effort whatsoever to help me, so I asked if I could speak to the shift leader. His name was Laz and he approached me with a smile, was warm and friendly, and successfully cancelled my membership (it took less than 2 minutes). I’m so glad I trusted my gut and didn’t take her word for it when she was saying I couldn’t be helped. The icing on the cake was when I thanked Laz on my way out and Angie sarcastically replied “You’re welcome!!” in a condescending tone. She should not work in a customer service related position because she is absolutely terrible at it. Anyway, thank you Laz for resolving my issue and providing me with great customer service.
