The two guys that were at the front desk on Saturday (10/18/2025) watching their phones was asked at 1:50 to clean the Men’s Bathroom as the toilet was clogged and paper towels and toilet paper was everywhere. The two guys waited until 2:00 for a girl to release them so they wouldn’t have to clean. POOR MANAGEMENT with NO SUPERVISION‼️

That rest and relaxation area has none of that. The doors are open and you can hear a lot of noise and music from outside that mixes with the music inside. They should close those doors so that the noise isn't heard, because it's supposed to be a rest area, right?

I’m not surprised by your response based upon the interaction with your staff at this location. They were extremely rude and condescending.

For the past two days, there has been no soap available in the men's room. This is not only inconvenient but also raises hygiene concerns for all members.

Additionally, when I approached the front desk (Lindsey and Jessica) for assistance, I found the response to be less than satisfactory. I expected a prompt resolution to the issue, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I was basically told they had none available to replace it and to “just use one of the hand sanitizer stations around the gym”. I got news for you - half of those are broke and don’t work either.

I appreciate the efforts made by your team in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the gym, but I believe that proper hygiene practices should be a top priority. I kindly ask that you address this matter promptly and ensure that necessary supplies are consistently stocked for the benefit of all members. Apparently there is no soap available on property to even replace the soap. It’s a Friday and 4th of July weekend.

The girl at the front desk turns the lights out at 9:30pm and locks the front doors (I would’ve been pissed if I drove from South Naples and not let in-you can do a workout in a half hour in case she doesn’t know that). Then adding insult to injury she turns on the lunk alarm 10 minutes before closing time-she just let it ring. Most places just hit that thing briefly to let us know what time it is-not let it ring to annoy everyone to leave. I’m older and can’t see real well in the dark. Pissed. Time to look at Crunch fitness or Anytime fitness as an option. Maybe they don’t hire 15 year olds to run the place there.

DO NOT USE THIS GYM!!! The manager revoked my 4 year membership because I brought up a grievance to him about nobody cleaning the tanning beds. I walked in today and for the second day in a row there was no paper towel towels or no spray bottles to clean the tanning beds. The tanning beds FYl, always leave something to be desired as far as cleanness by the way.
The manager said that they are now cleaning it after every usage. So after I used the tanning bed today, I sat down on the couch and waited to see if somebody came and cleaned it. They did not. They then put someone in right after me. The bed was not cleaned. I found the manager and brought it up to him again, saying that you lied by saying that they clean it and I explained to him how nobody cleaned it. He snapped at me, said I was attacking him and said he was revoking my membership. All because of a health code violation.Anyone know the owner??? I bet you $100 she has no idea what is going on in the gym nor the unprofessionalism of his manager. Save your money and spend it on a gym that appreciates your patronage. I will be calling the health board next

Alarm blaring for the last 20 minutes open to make you so uncomfortable you leave, and then guy comes around while I’m stretching and just about finished anyways at 9:48 saying “we close at 9:50” when hours clearly listed are until 10 pm. I understand wanting to close up shop in a timely manner but these are not the hospitality friendly ways to do them.
Worth the drive to go to the new bayshore location instead, only reason I came here is because this one is open later.

I go here 6 days a week and during the week at 4 AM the weights are all over the place…but the guys are working. They are cleaning the bathrooms and all the machines and the windows so it doesn’t bother me. BUT when you close Friday nights and open at 6 AM and I walk in at 6 AM and it looks like the photos below and the counter staff is just talking behind the counter the whole hour I was there…that’s not cool. Props to the people that work that 2 AM shift and please teach your closers and openers to check the weights. Someone’s gonna hurt themselves trying to use these machines pictured below.

I love this gym! I start almost every day with the Hydrobed and then the massage chairs! Jesse and Jessica, amazing morning employees, greet me with a smile and excellent customer service! The black card membership is worth way more in happiness than it costs in price. Definitely recommend this gym!

Planet Fitness—The Judgment-Free Zone Where I Pretend I'm Training for the Olympics

Planet Fitness is my happy place. It’s like a gym and a spa had a baby and raised it on good vibes and purple equipment. Where else can you break a sweat, get browner than a biscuit, and then lay on a water bed that punches you back to life?

First off, I walk in and feel like a professional athlete—until I remember I’m mostly here for the vibe and the free pizza nights. But listen, they’ve got all the machines: treadmills, ellipticals, mysterious cable contraptions I pretend to understand. You can grunt in silence while watching Judge Judy. It’s beautiful.

Then there’s the tanning beds, aka my secret weapon. I lay in there for 10 minutes and come out like I just spent a week in the Bahamas. Browner than a biscuit. People ask if I’ve been on vacation—I say, “Yes. To Planet Fitness.”

And don’t even get me started on the hydromassage bed. That thing is the chiropractor, therapist, and spa day I didn’t know I needed. I lay there like royalty while jets of water gently pummel my stress into oblivion. I leave feeling like a brand-new human with significantly looser hamstrings and zero emotional baggage.

For $10 a month? It’s a no-brainer. I get fit, tanned, and massaged—and sometimes I even work out. 10/10 would recommend. Especially if you want to glow, grow, and occasionally just sit in a massage chair pretending you ran five miles.

They say "The Devil is the details". I arrived at 0700 for a rare Saturday morning workout.Gym was dim as I pulled up. According to two young employees "the doors are jammed and we can't open this morning". This location is otherwise good, ample equipment except for the ONE single tandem cable pull. We'll see how this plays out. The two employees said "the manager is coming at 0820 hours", as they told arriving members "we are closed".

I have used Planet Fitness in several states and this is the worst I have ever been too. The machines in general are aged and in poor condition. Some actually have rust on them! I normally do not post reviews but felt I had too.

I'm a current member. I like the gym. It's right near my job so it makes it easy to work out, shower, and get to work on time. Some machines like some of the treadmills or one or two of the stationary bikes for example are sometimes out of service but there are enough to use. The gym is somewhat full most mornings so getting to machines that there are only one of is a matter of jumping in as soon as it becomes unoccupied. Not a big deal really. The men's room is good although the shower heads sometimes are either broken or don't close all the way unless you're Hercules. Aside from that there are plenty of paper towels and spray always available to clean a used station and I appreciate that and all the work the staff does to maintain the facility.

My biggest gripe however, is that they show FOX news 24/7 on like 2 or 3 TVs. Local news is fine but if you're going to subject gym goers to national news either play FOX on one screen and CNN on the other or play neither (my preference is neither). I try not to look but when you're on the treadmill you tend to look around and it's distracting. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only one who notices this or even cares. And I don't expect it to change.

The gym itself is great but the staff that works on Friday and Saturday nights are awful. I am not one to ever leave bad reviews but this place closes at 10:00 pm on Friday nights and 10:00 pm on Saturday nights and every Friday and Saturday night they turn off the lights between 9:20 - 9:30 pm. They then begin sounding the fire alarm when there’s not really a fire, it’s a false alarm in attempt to get everyone out. They will then go around and tell everyone to leave, saying that they’re closed, all of this happening prior to there actual closing time. If this was an isolated incident, that’s one thing, but it’s not. This happens every weekend, every Friday and Saturday night prior to closing time.

This place is normally clean and staff is usually friendly. That said, I took off my shoes at one of the Smith Machine stations and was told I needed to put them on. I was not asked in a courteous manner, I was told to. Since we are nit picking, I would advise staff, that, if they are going to enforce rules, they should enforce all of them. Picking and choosing is not a good look as members are seen carrying bags on the gym floor (against PF policy), members are constantly on their phones while using equipment - sometimes on speaker (against PF policy), members normally enter without scanning memberships (against PF policy), amongst MANY other things that members are constantly doing that are against PF policy. Just my 2 cents.

Since I can’t reply to the owner’s response below, I want to add this to my original review and thank them for taking the time to share their thoughts. I do want to say that I do not have questions regarding policies, so much as staff seems to. There is a trend at this location, which I forgot to mention in my original review, where members work out in sliders and socks. Pretty ironic since, again, I was told to put on my shoes. 🤡

Is not the first time that I come to this gym in the morning and is closed, the stuff is usually late to open the door. The website shows open but is not, sometimes there are more than 10 people waiting outside to be open and there is never a sign in the door with any notice about not opening or change in the schedule. I've been to at least a hundred different Planet fitness locations in the 8 years I've been going to Planet fitness. By far this is the worst one. Some of the staff is great but the few staff members that they do have that are not very good at the job really make for an unpleasant experience. Like aggressively getting everyone out of the gym 45 minutes before closing time just because you want the place cleared out so you can clean it and be out of there right at 10:00, when closing time is 10:00 not 9:15.

CAUTION ⚠️ Do NOT I repeat do NOT ever sign up for a membership with Planet Fitness. I had the WORST experience ever dealing with this company, they are extremely UNORGANIZED. I at first loved the low cost and anytime use of the gym but then I came to find out they’re ⚠️SCAMMERS⚠️. I had dealt with Planet Fitness not only billing me once a month but TWICE every month (including twice for their annual fee) so of course I became extremely fed up with them taking over $60 a month for the black card membership therefore I went in and signed an electronic form to cancel my membership on 08-10-2024 and instead of cancelling my membership they put it in pending to be canceled so they can continue to take money from me although I DONT GO THERE ANYMORE. Mind you after I canceled my membership on the 10th they proceeded to bill me on 8/26/2024 which I called them and they advised me that it was for that month since it was halfway through when i canceled which I then understood and was okay with that because I was under the impression they were not going to bill me ever again for a gym I no longer attended, well how wrong was I, this morning I get a call from their Billing department trying to collect payment and update my payment information, luckily my bank was helpful enough to block their charges last month when i called on the 26th when they decided to bill me AFTER i canceled my membership. THEY ARE BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH. The ONLY good thing I have to say is that Justice at the GG Pkwy location is extremely sweet understanding and helpful she’s the only person who told me the truth about my membership never being truly canceled after i had gone through all the required steps to cancel it.

ANOTHER NOTE: I was fraudulently charged roughly 10-15 times after “canceling” resulting in non sufficient funds charges multiple times as I only keep enough money in this account for pending charges. It is a good gym, it offers good prices but in this specific location they should expand it a little more since there are too many people in Golden Gate and after 4pm all the machines are busy and especially the bar I have to wait more than 20 minutes to use a bar so if they could bring another one it wouldn't be bad and not only that there are also machines that are needed like the hack squat it would be great if they could bring it also it would be good if they had some way to pay with cash since they don't We can all have access to a credit card, everything is fine, the staff is very attentive and friendly and the place looks very clean and organized.

I have been a member of the Planet Fitness from the beginning of its existence in NMB, Aventura, Coral Springs, and currently in Naples. I consider myself a loyal member. However, the gym has 4 bench press machines, which also use for various other type of exercises, such as shoulder, squat, and lunges, just to name a few. These 4 bench press machines are always occupied with members sitting down on the bench texting or talking on their phones, showing NO common courtesy for others waiting to use the bench. No staff is around to monitor and/ or enforce any rules and regulations in the facility.
. Sometimes, members have to wait for more than one hour for someone to vacate a machine. The main reason is that they’re usually sitting on the bench texting or talking on their phones, instead of working out.
On Wednesday, 7/3/24, at approximately 1:00pm, I arrived to the gym but I wasn’t surprised to find all 4 bench press machines were occupied. However, one of the occupants was just sitting on the bench for approximately 5 minutes; perhaps, he was resting. I then approached and asked him if he was still using the bench press, he said, “yes.” I went on another station nearby waiting for a bench press machine to get available for me to jump on. When the member finally vacated the bench, I saw an out of order sign on the bench. I removed the sign and started working out. Then an employee wearing a yellow shirt with trainer written on his back approached arrogantly and told me that he placed the out of order sign on the bench, because he needed it to train his clients. Who’s managing this gym? Why does an employee place an out of order sign on a bench to prevent members from using it, whether or not he’s a trainer?

This location has been unreachable by phone for over a month. Used every means necessary to reach them including the corporate office (no reply to several emails), other Naples location said they’d been getting calls from people saying the same thing and they would try to contact them, no other contact information to be found. I had no idea as a traveler that it would be so difficult to contact them to transfer membership. Left me no choice but to dispute transactions with my bank and ask another gym to transfer for me and freeze my membership (should have been done March 1st). Despite this, they continue to try to charge me. Physically thousands of miles away unable to go in to the location. I hate to leave bad reviews but there should be some way to contact for membership issues.

Not the best area/crowd, and at the busier times after 5-8pm, it is frustrating to find machines to use. Especially when you have people spend an excessive amount of time on one machine. (Extremely annoying and rude, gym needs to start enforcing time limits or signs that tell users not to be so selfish!) Planet Fitness has been awesome to me. I train here with my husband 3-4 times a week and the overall vibe is great. The gym floor, equipments, restrooms, and showers are always clean. The personnel in charge to keep the gym clean is always around making sure the disinfectant sprays, paper towel, and hand sanitizer are filled. I also noticed the gym members wiping the equipments before and after they use it, which is a plus. One thing I found convenient was the music played in the background not being too distracting. I attend the gym only in the early mornings and I can say the staff are super friendly and nice. There is always someone at the front desk to greet and wish you a good day. Highly recommended!

Staff is young, but mostly friendly. The gym is large enough to fit the needs. Some equipment needs repairs, doesn’t seem urgently addressed. The machines they have are good enough, but leave more options to be desired. Black card area is nice with many extra amenities and massage chairs that seem to mostly be in working order.

Just renovated and looks great. Some equipment has been broken since I've been here but nothing crazy. Bathrooms always decent at least which can be a problem with 24 hour clubs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Please fix your bubbler has I don't like to carry a water bottle around. My first day I was unaware and they gave me a water for free. A woman was cleaning the mens bathroom and while that is unorthodox in my experience, it's a no excuse mentality which was amazing to see. Please get more medicine balls. Only 4,6,and 8. I'm a server and work my shoulders in-between busy seasons. About to bring in my 15lber 🤣

Came in for a membership got scammed by a employee that made me pay cash then the manager Chevy tells me don't come back without a membership came back a couple days later I came back with a membership then I get trespassed for being on a hydro chair with a membership

I’m a member since last year,this morning when I went a man came to me said he’s the manager turn off the machine.I said if you’re a manager make sure everything is clean inside,cause the machines were very dirty.I did and continue to do my exercises,next he told me to leave otherwise he’ll call police on me. I didn’t break any policy rules. He didn’t even explain to me why and he told don’t come back anymore. The took the money every month in my bank account.

This specific gym is OK great equipment and fairly nice staff however GM is rude and tends get haughty, if one is in the wrong specially if its minor one cannot demand/disrespect and belittle a person let alone a once paying member. I would just say GM should not deal with members in this way let alone run a gym. Learn anger management then learn business management. Will cancel membership for sure and hopefully never have to go anywhere near this place or the GM. Will redact name for reasons of my own but definitely needs new management or some serious evaluation. Sorry for leaving this review but it should be known. Other locations are OK but becareful with this one.

The gym is large with many cardio machines; however, Waiting for little groups hogging the other machines, while having loud conversations severely cuts into your workout time. As does people just sitting on the machines FaceTiming. The staff doesn’t enforce any of the etiquette rules.. judging by the crowd.. doubt they even know what etiquette means. The front staff is always rude and has a scowled look on their faces.. like they are so bored.. and better than you..can’t even smile or say hello, unless you are a buddy of theirs! Worst PF ever!

So the gym doesn’t like to fix broken equipment now.. it’s gotten worse over the last few months. Broken down cardio machines and weighted barbells that are close to falling off. Let the staff know, but nothing happens! So dangerous!

Also, it would be nice if they enforced gym attire etiquette. Saw a guy’s private parts twice on Saturday.. he was only wearing boxer briefs and his girlfriend a laced corset! They had all the weights around them and were slamming them down, instead of working out. Like what is going on here??

I've been coming here for a year now mainly just to get my cardio in before I do strength when I go back home. I have asthma and this place sometimes isn't very clean and causes my asthma to flare up. Machines that are out of order always take months to fix (Like the stepmill machines). Staff is always very friendly tho when I come in and I have no complaints regarding friendliness and proffessionalism from them. I will continue coming to this gym just to get my cardio in but I hope there can be more work done on fixing machines and cleanliness; then maybe I'll do more there.

PLEASE IGNORE THE REVIEWS COMPLAINTS AGAINST BRIAN LONG!! The "guests" who ganged up on him in the review section are SELFISH and ANNOYING members at the gym! Brian simply asked that they RESPECT the other members and not hog free weights while using the machines!! I am annoyed when I see selfish people like them using a machine with 4 people and talking in between sets, and also having the free weights scattered around so they can use them intermittently. BRIAN WAS DOING HIS JOB! He asked in a PROFESSIONAL MANNER for these members to SIMPLY RESPECT THE OTHER MEMBERS. HOW DARE THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING CALLED OUT ONE THEIR OWN RUDE ACTIONS!

I went to this gym today. I really like it. Very clean good spaces between machines was kind of crowded but was ok. Just one thing like always, the stuff people wasn’t like they should be. Not rude but kind of very serious person. It was a young lady. But ok. I recommend this one.

I’ve been a planet fitness member for 4 years now and have always liked the environment up until a few days ago when the manager, Brian Long, made me finish my workout early by telling me to put away my weights. I explained to him I always put my weights away after my workouts and he said he needed me to put them back right at that second. I told him I would once I finished my workout which apparently set him over the edge and he started talking down to me trying to belittle me. It was very rude and made me feel like I was not welcome which caused me to leave not even halfway through my workout.

I've been coming to this gym for approximately five years now. I love PF because it has always been a friendly, inclusive, convenient, and affordable environment. But after the interaction I had with the new manager Brian Long, I will have to cancel my membership. He very rudely had asked my friend and I to put back the free weights we were using mid our workout, repeatedly saying "NOW" and "did you not hear me?." He was very condescending and made the environment very hostile. Another member of the club witnessed what had occurred and mentioned that the manager only spoke that way to females.

Overall its a great place i love it but, I've had to wait at the front desk multiple times for 5 to 10 minutes for staff to come help me, I get it there probably busy, but at least they could maybe take a look every so often to see if anyone is waiting at the desk. Overall it's a very clean place and I love the layout

Used to be a great place to workout. Completely gone downhill in the last two months. Not enough staff at night hours when it’s packed so people are just walking in without being scanned. I think I’ll try another location or cancel my membership.

Dirty, kids running around everywhere, equipment broken, over crowded, and yesterday my husband went into the tanning booth the door was shut lights out in the room and when he walked in the lights came on and two female workers were in there getting ready to (ya know) or what looked like they were. They slowly walked our of the room and went into another room.
