He is always cheerful and very friendly with Members And He takes time to help each and every customer with their questions. The equipment is great and the gym is beautiful! However the temperature is unbearably hot. I have had to leave early twice because it’s an uncomfortable temperature to work out in. The first time I left, they didn’t even have the fans running. If I wanted to exercise in the Florida heat, I’d go for a walk in a park during August. 😅 Fleming Island location has older equipment, but atleast they use their AC and fans consistently. I’d love to go to this gym more often if they would control the climate. Maybe reach out to Fleming Island and see what they keep their AC on.

Very clean facility. My four star review is based on my visit this morning. The two employees behind the counter were having a conversation. They looked up at me and then continued talking between themselves without acknowledging me. I scanned myself and my husband in to work out and walked through. No welcome in or good morning.

Horrible employees. The place has only been open for a year and the staff has run down the place really bad. I know of over 10 ppl that have left this gym over having issues with the staff! So unprofessional when paper dispensers and hand washing products aren’t available after requesting them multiple times thru different employees. I’ll still go to make sure no one else gets treated with disrespect and maybe there owner can meet up with someone like me to get the footage (video) of his employee acting like ignorant ppl . 6-9 months and nothing resolved yet! What happened to the original staff? They were great and now we have to deal with these ignorant ppl! I’ve got a journal and statements from others that have seen the misbehavior coming from this club only. In 35 years of going to gyms I’ve never came across one like this! The actual gym equipment, massage areas are great and generally clean. It's not very crowded at all and the staff are very nice. I really like the lockers that they have in the front area so that you don't have to store your items in the locker room (which by the way has a phone charge port inside). For the not so good...can't speak for women's locker room but there are 2 bathroom stalls in the mens locker room. One has been out of service probably since the gym opened and as of yesterday, the other one is also out of service. It also seems that about 1/2 of their towel dispensers around the gym are also out of service. Lastly, maybe this only bothers me but I wish there were clocks in the different ares of the gym because believe it or not, there are people who work out without a phone on them.

Today, 1/12/25, your Planet Fitness employees wanted to tell me that my Membership since 2021 had Expired after I scanned in a previous days screenshot. I mentioned that's strange since I've been paying my Planet Fitness Membership every month. They offered me my Black Membership massage chair that I requested, but I would not be able to workout at this Planet Fitness Gym. I was told to go to the gym where I have the Membership setup. I declined the massage chair that I needed after my Plasma Donation to relax. I drove down about 2 miles and finally had my Android pulled up my today's scanner code. I drove back and scanned the today's current code. After my account showed not expired and I then used the massage chair. Later the male Planet Fitness employee stated that they could not let Homeless people come in and workout at the gym. I had to ask a question out of curiosity since they simply wanted to deny me my Membership privileges today and I have a home to go to. I asked if they turn away the Homeless people that have Planet Fitness Memberships? The employee said, "Well No!".

My thoughts are since you are so desperate to Human Traffic Single Celibate 5 years white women it showed at this Gym today! Membership since 2021 equivalented to, we can't research to make sure you receive your benefits as a paying Member and the Facts are True. As long as our intelligence is insulted and our cell phones, vehicles and gas are at their game plan? Goodness, 🙏Prayers. .

This Planet Fitness facility is very well maintained and kept clean in comparison to PF facilities I've seen in Jacksonville/Tampa Bay, FL areas as well as Nashville, TN. Staff at the counter have been very professional and friendly. The only cons that keep it from having 5 stars are the corporate set hours that affect convenience and the place could use a hip thrust machine or 2.

Joined planet fitness years ago because they WERE a 24/7 gym. All of the local ones have recently changed to limited hours. Extremely disappointing to see this as I now have to drive way out of my way to use the gym on the weekends. Also to boot they let people record and take photos in the locker rooms and the showers are hit and miss on if they are cleaned regularly.

We started in February and love it. The gym is clean and the employees have all been great! We usually go at night and want to specifically mention Taj and the girl that was working with him on night shift (didn't catch her name and i was disappointed to hear she quit). My first day yay. I drove from Riverside because this is the newest PF. There’s 3 closer but read they weren’t as nice or as big. Signed up for the Black Card. Convenient 24/7 gym with nice equipment. Building temperature may vary.

The gym is kept very clean and it is not too crowded when I work out late at night. The machines are still very new and I immediately transferred from another PF when it opened since this one was closer and I enjoyed the cold air when working out; a light jacket would help if needed until you'd warmed up enough during your routine!

The gym was recently kept significantly hotter than when I started, likely due to reviews or other feedback. Most nights felt like working out in a garage and the weight + aerobic exercise areas without fans got unbearably hot and stagnant.

I learned that a change was implemented such that employees can no longer directly control the temperature and that a thermostat is set to automatically cycle. I attend during late-night hours and this results in the main treadmill and cardio area with fans being cool and the rest of the building being too warm for my preference.

I've modified my review since contacting management at this location as they've made a minor adjustment to the thermostat to help alleviate the issue. Again, I attend this location during very late hours and it will often end up with the main area feeling cool and other areas too warm; inefficient when the few guests in the building are often only occupying the warmer areas. The thermostat likely can't discern the different areas of the building and only ensures a cool temperature in the main area. I still believe that having control of the air conditioning restored to employees would be the best way to have everybody satisfied, as a thermostat cannot keep all areas consistently comfortable.

Loved it at first, after a while employees seem to ignore you if you need to get into the black card area. The 30 minute workout room never gets monitored, people will come and use 1 machine and stay there messing up your workout, and they’ll bring weights from another room and be all in the way. Me and my wife cancelled. People braiding employees hair in the employee room while you need help at the desk. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

Decided to try this newest PF in Orange Park while I was over in that area of town and found it to be a beautiful club in the PF network. It has the latest and newest cardio and fitness equipment you can find. Only problem encountered was the extreme, COLD inside the gym. I've been working out in gyms for 30+ years and have never been in a gym so uncomfortable. I was ill-equipped for that kind of atmosphere and the big overhead fans created a wind-chill to boot!. Everyone in the gym was decked out in heavy sweatshirts and pants, except me. I ended up leaving without doing a workout due to the ridiculous temp. If I ever use that club again, I'll remember to bring the right clothing. It was unbelievable, even the friendly desk attendant had a stocking cap and sweats on.

My rating is a blend of Planet fitness as a company compared to other gyms AND this specific location. So regarding PF itself; you do get what you paid for which could be a good thing. No gym trainers, no large space for aerobics, no pool, no punching bags, and no squat racks BUT I purposely chose this due to the cheapest cost AND with a bunch of high quality pristine machines. Whats cool about PF is of course the 'judgment free concept' and they have a larger range of weights which can really further training (eg jumping from 0 to 2.5 to 5 to 7.5 lbs). Also currently PF is open 24/7 which helps tremendously for those avoiding the gym rush hour. You can also view how crowded it is within the app. This facility is quite new and is not crowded yet, so I'm loving it. The staff is amazing, social and helpful. The place looks clean! Worth the cost to me.
