New set up is horrible, also every time a machine is out of service it will take months to fix it. Before the renovation an Abdominal machine was out of service for about 6 month, the same machine is out of service again, only missing a screw. Lets wait another six months. I really like this gym. It is one of the best in the area. Excellent variety of equipment and black card spa massagers. The staff is pleasant and they keep the place clean. It isn’t crowded during the times I go. If there was one change I would like to see is get rid of the signs at the bathrooms saying they celebrate all genders. We don’t need to celebrate a persons personal decisions. Let a gym be a gym. Other than that, a great all around gym and value.

I have been weight training for 24 years now. I sustained a shoulder injury and could no longer work out at my current gym due to the equipment being too difficult to adjust with 1 arm. I came here and not only is the equipment easy and smooth to use, but their recovery section has cryotherapy and hydra massage. What a lifesaver!!! The crowd was light and super comfortable to be in. The staff was super sweet and helpful as well. I feel confident to say that I not only can recover my shoulder at this gym, but continue to use it afterwards.

The Oviedo location was closed for over a month, yet I was still charged my membership fee. When I asked about it, I was told I could drive to another gym over 10 miles away, which is not reasonable with traffic. I tried several times to speak with the manager, but they were never available, and the phone line was disconnected, making it almost impossible to reach anyone. Very disappointing and unfair treatment for loyal members.

my concerns regarding the recent opening of the Planet Fitness location in Oviedo on Alafaya Trail. While I appreciate the initiative to provide a fitness space within our community, I feel compelled to address some significant design flaws within the gym’s layout.

The arrangement of the workout machines has not been thoughtfully considered, leading to an uncomfortable environment for patrons. Specifically, the machines face one another, which creates an awkward atmosphere, as individuals are forced to work out in close proximity and directly face each other. Given the small size of the gym, this issue becomes even more pronounced, affecting the overall experience of using the facilities.

I believe there is an opportunity for improvement, and I urge you to re-evaluate the design to enhance user comfort and functionality. Also, in the back where the Olympic machines are, there’s not enough, ventilation. I look forward to seeing positive change in the future, as I currently do not anticipate returning under the present conditions.

I try my best to not go to this location, even though it’s the closest one to me. It’s always packed even though the crowd meter always reads 3 bars, the few times I do go here the water machine is ALWAYS down and now we have to pay for the bottled water, black card member or not. Update: water dispenser filter has been RED for at least 1 week, so BRING your own water…REALLY? Rotary torso machine has been broken for at least 1 month, their response? Waiting for a piece. The working one is getting bad. How can that be that the gym CANNOT provide water for their users??? I haven’t received a response about this: I am VERY concern about your restroom policy. Inclusion is ok BUT NOT in bathrooms. I am REALLY scared to use them after listening to the news and a lady being withdrawn for refusing using the same restroom that an obviously msn dress as a woman. Will you respond for anything happening to any female if an incident happens? Please add individual restrooms, they can use those. Still not response about this: It’s NOT fair we have to go thru all that.
Also, employees need to pay more attention to papel towels dispensers to clean machines than their cell phones.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Oviedo for about 16 years. I’ve always been very happy until now. Many months ago, they fired the trainer and have not replaced him. This is part and parcel of what we pay for when we sign up for Planet Fitness. On weekends there is no one available that has a firm understanding of the equipment and how to use it. The first four TVs, where the bikes are don’t work with the headphones. The clock next to them hasn’t worked for months. It’s only about 20 minutes behind. You think they could get up there and fix it. The mirrors are filthy, but I still like the place and I’m gonna keep going

The gym is pretty clean. Has some pop background music going not too loud. The equipment is nice and updated but some cardio machines are showing their wear. Sliding seats have worn bearings (clicking or bumping) and cables are pretty good with wear. Massage beds are really nice after heavy workout. No pool for cardio. Overall , a decent gym. They don’t have a 45 degree leg press or a lying hamstring curl machine. When I asked the worker, he told me they did but there’s not one. The gym is clean but the space isn’t used effectively. I started going to the gym in February. They have an excellent training program for new members. I joined a group for beginners. Cameron, the trainer has been extremely helpful. He has taken the time to explain how each machine works and their benefits to the muscle groups. I have learned so much in a short time by working with him. He is a great guy. The employees are friendly.

The only negative thing I can see is that corporate must be really cheap with maintenance. They should increase the budget for them to replace worn padding on some machine.

It is a very positive experience overall and I have seen changes to my balance and strength.

I have seen kids walking on treadmills in dirty socks, bite marks on equipment cushions, and more unracked weights than ever.

I don't understand why members who pay 20/month plus annual fee should have to share a space with kids who don't even pay to be here, at least confine the pass to certain hours so actual members can have access to the machines they pay for.

Gym has dropped off a lot lately. Mens locker room is almost always dirty. Urinal areas loaded with pee on the floor consistently. Counters soaked always. Equipment is not well maintained. Locker room is also never comfortable it is either freezing or no air moving at all and crazy humid. Who ever controls the music is bi-polar. One day it is playing Elton John at a reasonable level and the next day Rap/Dance will be playing so loud you can clearly hear it through and the over whatever you have playing on your own headphones. Not sure how you have notices playing on your tv’s about proper gear and yet let all these kids run around in slides. Do better please, this used to be a good gym!

Wonderful gym until they launched the Summer Pass Program allowing high school aged teenagers to work out for free. Since then the gym has become overcrowded with non-paying patrons. I was looking for a gym last minute while in town and remembered this location that I had been to at least 10 years ago. I called to ask about a day pass, and the person who answered at the front desk was very polite and informative about their free first day pass. When I showed up, I was amazed by the improvements made to this location since I had last been there. Adriana at the front desk was very friendly and entirely welcoming and helpful. She even set me up with a trial of the water massage chair, which was the unexpected cherry on top and very much needed. I’m very likely to return and pay for the day passes next time I’m in town.

First off, we waited approximately 3 minutes due to no one being at the counter. When asked what we needed I proceeded to say that we wanted information about the gym’s offers. The person gave us a plastic card with the gym’s information and told us these are the same offers that you would find online. The community in the gym is very friendly if you get to know the people in there.
