Comfortable atmosphere. This location keeps the equipment updated and functional. The pads dont have rips or tears. Lots of Cardio and machines. Wish there was a specific area for stretching and mat exercises.

I'm really not a fan of the big box gyms; it's like the fast food of gyms - I don't want it as my regular fare. The times I've had an occasion to go to a planet fitness it was busy which is not my preference. I have a fob for my gym so I can go 24 hours a day. No, I'm not going at 3:00 a.m. but when I go at 6:45 pm on a Sunday my gym doesnt close. The equipment felt cheap.

I have been a Black card member for 10 years. 630pm on a Wed they decide to vaccuum the floors around the cardio. Im getting a run in and have to hear amd smell the vac exhaust as they literally are cleaning around the treadmill as Im running. I find the manager who had an attitude and basically said too bad we are cleaning now. I said I would be finding a new gym and he offered to cancel on the spit. I was not rude, loud or obnoxious.
The mgr would not give me his dms name and finally gave a first name but reused to give me a contact.
So sad to be leaving PF but if thats the way you treat long term members then I guess we are done.
This manager is going to kill your membership.

I have been a member here on and off for a few years now. I must say that the staff at this location is excellent. I am not an exercise enthusiast ( lol ) and it's a struggle just to get in the door some days. The staff always smiles and says hello which is a small thing but makes a huge difference for lazy people like me. Any time I had a question or quit for a few months they still provided the kindest of service. Everything else is spotless and the staff is excellent. Thanks:)

I am a huge fan of this gym. The staff, super clean, and the enormous space to workout. I just would like to know where the abs bench did go? It was the perfect degree-angle for me. It was 3, then 1 and they are gone. Another thing: the women's bathroom needs a good scrub in the shower. Btw, thanks for doing business in my community, we do need more places like that everywhere!

We had a silver membership. The location cut off my service without notice and couldn't tell me why other than 'We do have that happen sometimes'...then followed with 'We can resign you up but it's not going to be at the lower rate we had you guaranteed at'.. This Planet is super nice! I lived and was a member to Planet in IL for probably 6+ years. This has multiple workout areas off to the side, which I love. The only thing it’s lacking is the Blackcard Members Lockers in their own space

Today I had a not so pleasant experience with the new manager that’s only been there for a month. I’ve been jump roping at the facility every time I come in and it never seemed to be an issue until this new manager was added. I respected the decision but after my workout, I did come back and question it. Between the silly rules starting to ramp up and this guys cocky attitude and simply not seeming to care about losing customers, I feel the facility will start losing people and they certainly lost me today. When you have a manager blatantly say “go sign up and crunch then” is off putting as far as customer service goes and is a stain on planet fitness as being a company that doesn’t care about the people they’ve got. There is a brand new, state of the art Crunch that just opened up down the road, same price or better with more to offer and if this guy is representing planet fitness, you best believe people will leave.I have been with planet fitness’s Palm Harbor facility for at least 10 years and over this time, I’ve seen the facility move towards a better direction as far as the very constrictive rules planet fitness was known for and why some people avoided planet fitness but that has changed for the worst it seems. This new manager also deceptively put my reason for canceling was I’m moving, which seems shady. Do yourself a favor and got signup at crunch fitness just down the road.

I’ve been a member for over 4 years. The staff, for the most part, is helpful and friendly. The equipment is decent, too. The AC, however, hasn’t been working properly for months and it’s way too hot in there. I leave the gym feeling nauseated every day due to the heat. The water pressure dies out occasionally so you can’t use the water fountain. Also, more machines have been out of service for the last few months. Namely, 2/6 stairclimbers + a few treadmills. Thankfully most of the weight machines are in working order. I love the extra equipment they added a few months ago, especially the smith machines. Please just fix your AC soon!

As a PF member for many years, I’d have to say this location (Palm Harbor, Fl) is in a downhill spiral. Equipment has signs of “out of order” for months, weight machines have cracked or peeling vinyl on the arms and chairs, wall paper is hanging off the walls, ceiling fans have no blades, mildew can be found along the baseboards and water fountains and sinks have corrosion.
As a PLNT shareholder, if PF Corporate were to visit this location and do an inspection, they would be extremely disappointed in the product being delivered to their consumer. I highly recommend, Arthur, the owner, visit this location on a regular basis and make a commitment to invest in bringing this club up to the Planet Fitness standards.
As a share holder, I will be reaching out to PF Corporate to insure they are aware of the overall conditions of this club and hopefully help bring this location up to the expected standards.

Great experience! This gym is very clean and plenty of cardio and weight machines, and every time I visit I am greeted by the nicest people on the way in and out. Last week Trè not only was his usual friendly self, but he also found a card that dropped out of my pocket. I had no clue it fell out and it would have been a PITA to replace. Just goes to show there are nice people here.

Be very careful signing up here They have very shady business practices We signed up and did not use the gym the entire time We were being billed for at least a year We caught it turned it off that was our fault but the new manager told me that even though I called last month to have it canceled and the old manager told me that it was canceled and I wouldn't get billed anymore I was in fact billed and he refused to refund me the $20 in some odd change So now I have to go to my bank and report it as fraud because I did not authorize this month's bill to come out. The new manager's response was that the old manager got fired because she did things incorrectly which somehow is my fault.

Great gym except for the fact that they for whatever reason let a guy block a whole entry to the back room with a 360 machine. He puts either cones or weights on the floor and performs his daily magic/boxing moves sometimes singing on top of his lungs. Swinging a noodle and walk back and forth. It is NOT a boxing gym and I would hate to see anyone being hit by accident.

Member since 2016, usually in there at 2:45 AM until 5:00 AM, M-F. It is great we have some new equipment, most of the equipment is very good! Landon, one of the over-night crew has done a great job getting this place neat and sparkling clean, especially in the locker room!
1 downside is the A/C!! How can it be so freezing cold at with the A/C blasting at 2:30 in the morning? Are there no thermostats that can control the heat/cold properly???

I am giving 1 star because of the customer service I received. The individual on the phone had a snarky tone when I was simply asking about dates being charged for annual fee. I was inquiring about a refund and even though I accepted his answer and literally said I wasn't arguing, I could hear the lack of any sort of empathy in his voice. Pedals on bikes have broken straps or wobbly.
We live in Tarpon Springs and usually go to the Holiday location.

This gym needs to put a time for these old folks so they get the hell up and not hold the machines for so long. Not a well ran gym at all. Put some rules because people don’t care.enforce your rules! otherwise more ppl will keep leaving. First the good, the hydro chair is excellent. Staff is polite and professional. Now the bad. Only one machine for biceps, the stair steppers are out dated, one has been our of service for a week, some of the digital leds are missing so you can't tell what number, but seriously move onto the new generation of equipment and screens like anytime fitness has, same issues with the recumbent bike, has the same cheap screen as my 700 dollar model at home. Horrible location!! Ross the manager charged me twice and then refused to refund my money. On to of that he fraudulently closed my account. Ireinstated my account the dame day. I am still waiting after 3 weeks to receive my money back. I called the corporate number, explained everything, and shared my proof to bank up my claims. I was given an apology and assured I'll receive my over $50 refund. People I will not stress this enough be careful.

Moved from Missouri to Florida, and can say this is the best planet fitness I have been to! Victor and Bella were very helpful when my brother and I were signing up, Victor even offered some pointers on how to do my exercises right. this planet is always clean, despite regularly being crowded, and most of the staff is helpful. The girl with the blunt cut is not. I usually go to the planet in new port richey, as i live there, but i have the black card and wanted to go with a friend who lives down here in palm harbor. this girl comes up to us and says “there are no crocs allowed. its literally our biggest rule, especially for teenagers.” with a horrible attitude. I am not a teenager, in fact she looked like she had to have still been one herself. Yes, there were signs, but I usually just scan my code and go about my day, not paying attention to the things they have displayed on the counter. This is also not a rule at my planet fitness in NPR. Theres no need to be nasty over my choice in shoes.. just ask me to change them or ask me to leave.

I've been coming here (with my daughter) for 5 years since moving to Florida. Ive been in fitness since I was in high school, so many gym experiences along the way to compare. I love the simplicity of this gym; Ive tried others in the area and they did not keep me coming back like this gym. I appreciate the staff who greet me in the morning (Moises and Chris are warm and welcoming). Victor the trainer is absolutely amazing. Im completely new to the gym and had no idea how to use the equipment properly and was relying on YouTube. I was able to schedule a session with him and have him show me how to use the various machines and exercises as well as the correct form. I was able to do it myself and have him correct any form issues. His knowledge and help was extremely appreciated and i feel confident returning to this gym.

Had to cancel my membership when I found out Planet Fitness allows men who think they are women to use the women's locker room. My daughter and wife feel they are always at risk when entering a planet fitness. We joined another gym now and feel much safer.

I am looking for a gym. Planet Fitness seemed like the mist economical choice, the only problem is the construction on US19 would make it a PINA to get to. So I spent some time finding a “back way” to get there, only to walk in and ask if they had a free pass to check out the facility. They only have a 24 hr pass, so that does not give me enough time to evaluate whether the construction on US19 would be a PINA. Everyone knows that you don’t go u to I the gym if it’s a hassle

Plant Fitness is our favorite gym. We had 5 gym memberships running at the same time and finally downsized to one: Planet Fitness.

Joanna is awesome and is a great representative of the health and fitness lifestyle.

Moises ‘Pollo’ is just the best. He is positive, friendly and always available to help. In fact, he handed me a Reignbow Sherbert yesterday, a great tasting energy drink from Reign, to try out. I drank it down today during my back and biceps session. It improved my focus, mental clarity and allowed me to generate more power, as well as enhance my overall endurance. That was important for me today as yesterday had been a heavier, more intense leg session. The Reign was appreciated, settled well on my stomach and an hour and a half later after my wife, Jackie and I, finished our cardio session, we walked out feeling refreshed and ready to complete the rest of everything ahead on our agenda.

All of the staff at our home gym here are great. We’re glad we chose to make this particular location of Planet Fitness our home gym. It is an EXCELLENT place to train. Truly exceptional. Not only are the staff great… but the overall vibe of the membership is courteous, respectful and cordial. We have made many friends here. It really is a supportive community environment. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to different planet fitness locations for the last six years and this is by far my favorite one! All the staff is incredibly friendly and the equipment is always clean. Moises especially always recognizes my family and I when we come in and makes sure to check in and ask how we’re doing. It’s little things like that that really set the Palm Harbor location apart from others!

I have been going to planet fitness for close to 10 years now and I have to say, the Palm Harbor location is by far the best experience I have ever had. The equipment is never out of commission, always clean and the staff is amazing! Moises always recognizes me and makes a point to come say hi to me at some point during my workout. Check it out, you won’t regret it!!

I’ve worked out at about 30 different plant fitness locations since I became a member. The palm harbor location is by far one of my favorites. The main reason is Moises he is one of the friendliest workers I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. When I walk in and see his face I know I’m going to have the most productive workout. He always leaves you laughing ready to take on what the day has ahead of you!

I Informed them a month ago to cancel my membership because I'm moving and they did not, they charge me for March. I went yesterday to ask gently to cancel it , theguy did it this time but and he wants to charge me for annual fees, ridiculous!

I’m new to the area and came to check out the Palm Harbor Planet Fitness on 6/23 and was greeted by Ramon. Ramon had very upbeat personalities and made me feel welcomed. I appreciated that they were both very knowledgeable and friendly. Ramon took the time to explain what they offer here and show me where things are. Will definitely come back again!

Clean, great staff, BUT they need to emphasize to members exactly what the 30 minute workout room is for. I work remotely so switched to PF to utilize that workout space to break up my day. Today, 5 people just sat on machines in that area. There is an entire gym they can do that in. I'm sick of people using that space as a observation deck rather than a workout. The point is to keep going machine to machine and get your reps in and this is not at all what most are doing.
Also, tanning is horrible. At my previous gym I could maintain color going once a week. Here, 3 sessions, and still barely a tan line. If black card members have to pay more, provide the quality of what they pay for. Again, staff is great and the place is always immaculate, but something needs to be done about the people being sloths in the 30 min area.

It’s a good gym. It has everything I need and is well worth it for the price. I’ve been a member for 4 years (since I started working out). The downsides of this specific location include the lack of smith machines (only 3, and it’s hard to get one!) and how hot it is inside since there aren’t many fans.

The crew here have been super helpful and welcomed me right when I walked into the building. Bella was really kind and I asked for help on a machine and she should me how to use it. Bella also took me on a tour and she answered all my questions about there memberships and how they work.
