The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The young female employee with black hair, crooked bangs, and tattoos refused to assist me while I was trying to check in. There was an error with the system, and she wouldn’t allow Alexia to help me either. I have a Black Card membership, and she told me I’d need to change my home gym in order to use the facility—something I have never had an issue with anywhere else.

While I was there, she also chased down an elderly woman, accusing her of not having a membership when the woman simply forgot to sign in. Her behavior was unprofessional, rude, and a terrible representation of the establishment.

She also refused to provide her name and didn’t have a visible name tag. Absolutely unacceptable.

This planet fitness is always clean and very nice. It has pretty much any machine you could ask for and the staff are always super friendly. I go to the PF on Davis highway most days because it’s less busy but if you don’t mind a crowd this is definitely the better PF!

This was a great Planet Fitness, and we have been to many of their locations throughout America. My husband says he would rank this as one of the top 3 PFs he has visited due to its size and the amount of equipment available per person. He did a weight workout but also spent time in their area exclusively dedicated to abs and core strength, and he really appreciated having that space. I spent time on the treadmill and a few weight and functional strength machines. The locker rooms were nice too! One of our best PF visits! Thank you Pensacola Planet Fitness!

2nd update: The guy with the man bun that works at night literally doesn’t do his job. Almost every single time I come to use the black card spa he can’t be found because he’s either in the back or outside constantly flirting with women. This has happened countless times in the past few months I’ve been coming here. Obviously this place is POORLY managed.

Nice, spacious gym with plenty of equipment to use for working out. I really enjoy working out here. However, every time I come at night I always have to search for employees to sign up for the hydromassage and massage chairs. I pay for the Black Card Spa benefits, but this added stress when I want to use them is unnecessary. This only happens with night shift.

Update: After a couple of months coming here, I strongly recommend you go during the day shift if you want good customer service!

Just started. So far I love it. Way cheaper than I thought it would be.
Update: Been going a couple of months now and still love it. Very eclectic group and is a true judgement free place. Everything from young buff Olympic wannabees to many old geezers like me just trying to stay alive. They have every machine you can think of and no matter what time you go there is never a wait for anything whatsoever. Very friendly staff and everyone that goes there is super nice. Always clean as well. I still can't believe how inexpensive it is for everything they provide. There is no way you can save money by getting home equipment. It's a no brainer plus it gets you out of the house.

I have been a member of this PF for a long time but haven’t been in a long time. I recently went back and wanted a refresher on the machines and what exercises I should do for strength training. Thankfully I met Demetrus at the front desk. He took me around and got me acquainted with the equipment and the gym itself. He was so nice and kind. I've been coming here pretty regularly. And since my last review, this location has even exceeded previous customer service levels. Granted, I come almost exclusively in the midnight hours. Over the years, I've watched the club change hands as well as employees and I have to say it feels like the best work is most appreciable in the wee hours before sunrise. Leroy has managed time and time again to prove just how dedicated he is to his craft. Whether it's his communication and personality that keeps many guests returning, or his demand that things stay clean and sanitized that makes the environment that much more welcoming and safe for all. When I come in, seeing Leroy working gives a peace of mind that everything is done right and I can hone my personal craft. Not to mention all the wonderful variants of equipment that make working out so practical and the space to maneuver whether the club is full or empty. I can come here and truly appreciate all the love that goes towards the gym goers and Planet Fitness' dedication to our health and safety.

The gym is great but I had a pretty poor experience this morning trying to tan. Went in booked a 7:20am 6 min booth session. I check the time it says 8:15am. The bed was never turned on, I came out and there is different person at the desk I ask where the other person went and the gentleman says she went on break not good to forget about a client to go on break. Highly disappointed.

I have been going to Planet Fitness for almost 2 yrs now and I have never had a problem until today . I went to RELAX on the hydro massage chair and as soon as it started there was a guy next to me using the massage chair too . He had a man ( trainer ) that works at Planet fitness named Gary . He was talking very loud to the customer while I was trying to relax .. I asked Gary the trainer if he could keep it down please I’m trying to relax . You’re too loud . He immediately walked next to me and said “No, I will not stop talking, I can talk as much as I want to.” His conversation was not about training and I had to plug my ears to block his loud voice that was giving me anxiety. I went a second time just so I could relax . After I was through with the massage I saw Gary the trainer behind the front desk so I went to talk to him to say I wasn’t trying to be mean or disrespectful but he never let me finish. He immediately walked around me and put his hand toward my face and said I don’t have anything to say to you. I will report him to the Manager and even higher up because when he saw me he started talking about me to the other employees and laughing etc . They all looked at me while I walked out the door . This is why I am making a bad review. I tried to let him know I wasn’t trying to be mean or anything I just wanted to relax with peace and quiet. As it should be. Friends or trainers should not be allowed to be in the same room with the massage while customers are trying to relax after a long hard day .

Andy didn’t seem too thrilled to assist me earlier today. I wonder why. Every location in the Pensacola area is awful. Workers are so off-putting or just children who couldn’t care less. Wish there were more gym options available or I wouldn’t give my money to this place. “Store owner” is going to comment saying to reach out to management for further assistance, and they are going to do absolutely nothing. I love this gym but the young lady (Sarah) at the front desk was oddly rude for a gym attendant. I came in during open hours and she told me they were closed. I get that it was Saturday night, but I didn’t plan my workout around a teen’s night out. All she said as I walked in was “No”. I said I’d be quick, she said “no”. My fob worked. They were open. I live 2 miles from this PF and have paid and been a member since they were next to Publix. The better part of a decade.

I travel all over the country and have a chance to visit many different PF locations in my travels. This one by FAR is the best PF location I have ever been to. The space is amazing. The equipment is nicer and the entire place is cleaner than any other. I live in Navarre but the drive here was totally worth it. I only wish we had a place like this in Navarre. I do yoga and my spouse does lifting. He loved this PF location every bit ad much as I did (if not more). We were both able to accommodate our individual workout routines perfectly here. The only thing I could possibly ding them on is the lighting. The lighting feels a bit jarring and excessive.

I arrived at the gym on Sunday to engage in my workout routine. Upon entering and retrieving my water, I checked in at the front desk, where the attendant informed me that she required a photograph. I shared with her that I was experiencing anxiety, having just left church, and felt overwhelmed due to a stalking situation that had made me quite nervous. I also mentioned that my photo had been taken on four previous occasions, which is particularly distressing for someone with social anxiety. I expressed my preference not to have my photo taken at that moment. The attendant insisted that she needed to see my identification. To my dismay, she then stated that she would be reporting me, which only exacerbated my anxiety. All I wished to do was complete my workout. I have been a member for several years and pay a monthly fee of $25.
I’m so disappointed in this situation.
Most people don’t understand that social anxiety is real, either that or they just don’t care.

I'm a newer member at the Bellview, Pensacola planet fitness on mobile hwy. I'm frustrated and would like to speak to someone about paying for the black card membership when there are no working hydrobeds or tanning hybrid bed. They have been out for over a week and I don't see the point in paying for a service I can't actually use. I've asked to speak with someone about these concerns however, Noone has a contact number or anything for me to reach out about this complaint. Please tell me this is not how this business is going to be run. I love this club and the workers are so kind but, this equipment needs to be fixed more promptly. Please take care of this as I'm not the only customer who is upset.

I'm just getting started, but the place is huge and nicely packed with just about any kind of machines you prefer to use.
It was easy to sign up and done quickly, too!
Very clean and everyone coming in and out are greeted with kind words and a smile.
There's a fitness coach and he offers a monthly schedule for just about every activity I've ever seen so I am looking forward to getting back into my fitness routine.

Why is it on the customer to chase a manager to get problems fixed? I had already contacted the front desk and requested the manager business card and was told they were removed. I asked how to best get these items addressed and was told to leave this review. The club doesn’t have any issue taking my money each money but doesn’t want to share the managers contact information! Could you please provide the local managers contact information because the corp phone number gives the same BS answer you did.

There are so many broken machines and they have been broken for a long time. Every single stair climber has an out of order sign. The treadmills have ruts, under the belts you feel like you’re walking on uneven ground. The paper towel machines, don’t all work. The yoga balls are completely missing and I have requested they be replaced. This branch needs serious attention- not sure how they stay in business.

I like Planet Fitness. It is not my primary gym but I like that there are so many locations and that if I am out of town that I can usually find one nearby. It has everything that I need and is always clean with equipment working. I cannot ever recall having a problem when anytime at any time regarding planet fitness. I also enjoy being able to use the massage machines if I have time. I would recommend Planet Fitness to others.

They have plenty of treadmills, elliptic and step machines, and stationary bicycles.
Quite enough mech equipment and free weight to not having to wait more than a couple minutes for someone to release.

Men's locker room was filthy. Sinks dull, dingy, dirty. Showers need a serious deep cleaning. Shower curtains had dry soap and mold on them. They didn't have the right size Shower curtain on the handicap Shower. Inside and outside the lockers are dusty and dirty. Somebody can end up with a staff infection from the lack of unsanitary deep cleaning. Staff members walking past candy wrappers on the floor at the front desk. It's obvious that keeping that gym cleaned and sanitized is not a priority to them. Dried up sweat all on the treadmills & lipticals, climb stairs. Hooks missing in the ladies locker room are missing outside one of the showers and inside the changing rooms as my wife explained.
