I use planet fitness facilities around the country. This one has declined in recent years. It’s just dirty and doesn’t look well maintained. The 30 minute circuit has been removed and has random equipment around. It’s just not the quality I’m accustomed to seeing at other planet fitness locations. The machines have rust on them and crusty filth. I don’t see this at other locations.

I go here because it’s convenient but it’s in need of a deep clean and then ongoing upkeep. It’s a shame because it’s a nice place that has moderate traffic.

This is the cleanest, most non nonsense gym I have ever been to. It’s clean and immaculate. Equipment is always operational. And the STAFF ARE ALL PROFESSIONAL AND CORDIAL. Tanning beds are maintained, always available and kept strong with constant bulb changes.
A huge thank you to Ryan for always being very accountable and helpful.
We joined crunch fitness for a week just because it was new and wanted to try it out. HUGE MISTAKE.

Great place to workout! Always clean, equipment is well maintained and large selection of equipment. Staff is always wonderful and helpful. The facility can be a bit busy Monday through Thursday around dinner time, however you can usually get to whatever equipment you need in short order. In addition, the price is great and it’s always nice to be able to bring a friend or family member for free and use facilities anywhere in the nation!

I was a long-time member at Planet Fitness in Port St. Lucie and truly valued their 30-Minute Workout section, which fit perfectly with my busy lifestyle. Recently, the club posted signs saying they would be “closing for a day to upgrade with new equipment.” When they reopened, I was shocked to find the entire 30-Minute Workout area removed and its equipment scattered into the general floor.

When I asked a staff member, I was told it was removed because “no one used it.” That is simply not true—I know many members who relied on it. The reality is they just wanted more space (the Darwin location did the same thing). What’s upsetting is that they didn’t honestly inform members ahead of time that they were eliminating the 30-Minute circuit. Instead, they made it sound like they were “upgrading.”

This decision feels misleading, unprofessional, and unfair. The 30-Minute Workout was the main reason I stayed consistent for years, and now I have been forced to transfer my home club membership to another location that still offers it. Unfortunately, this means I now have to travel further just to get the workout routine I relied on.

Planet Fitness should have respected loyal members enough to be upfront and transparent about such a major change.

Y’all remember when customer service was an actual thing. Me too and you won’t find it here. I am quite sure the business model of this franchise is “If it aint broke, fix it till it is”. I used to love coming to this club as it was a part of my rehabilitation efforts after a COVID prompted stroke. Currently, my 45-minute lunch break only allows for approximately 15 to 20 minutes of actual equipment usage, as opposed to the more substantial workout time I previously had. This situation arises from an insufficient number of machines, persistent mechanical failures, or individuals using the equipment for activities such as texting, browsing the internet, or relaxing rather than their intended purpose. I have sent previous comments to the company (at least 5 times) and have received zero responses (Not interested). This company sets the example of a impersonal business model- THEY DON’T GIVE A SHIT IF YOU STAY OR GO! I asked one of their staff the other day how to cancel membership and was enthusiastically given that information- almost like they are asked that often.

Do yourself a favor and either find a better franchise or take your business and health goals to a better club. A club where gym etiquette is still a thing, and where they actually care that you belong.

When this facility first opened, it was great. Large gym, wide variety of equipment. Everything new and in good working order. I use PF as a secondary gym primarily when we travel out of town. I usually don’t use PF when I’m in PSL. I was really disappointed when I went into PF back in April. Equipment was falling apart and in need of maintenance. I went to PF a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised. A facelift. Lots of new equipment. I would now recommend this gym. However, they need to take equipment maintenance seriously or else in a few years they’ll be back to being just another dirty nasty gym.

Great gym.. super clean… nice people , great staff... all the equipment I need and more, plus massage chairs… water massage… red light… tanning and more… Id move in if that were possible… only thing missing is a large pool, aqua aerobics, aqua Tai Chi and, maybe some dance classes instead of cardio.. still the best far and wide

I was nervous to join a gym and almost didn’t out of fear of being judged and not knowing what I’m doing. I’m so glad I’m with Planet Fitness. From day one that fear has been eased. I have been going to this gym since it opened. Have never had a bad experience. The staff in the early mornings are amazing. But as my wife and I were leaving yesterday a gentleman brought in a dog. No service vest just a dog on a leash. Now it is bad enough with the ppl that don't clean up after themselves. Now we have to worry about dogs in the gym? It's a little ridiculous in my opinion. If dogs are allowed then my kids should be able to come in and just sit around also. Enough is enough already with these dogs. Someone has to speak up

This gym is not very clean used to be now it’s not. The fit machine to the right of the rowing fitness machines has been squeaking for months. I mentioned it to the staff 2 times and still squeaking bearing will probably go. Also the arm curling machine to the right of it has been broken for at least 3 months . The workers kept taking the temporary out of order sign off and on . I also told the front desk a month ago twice. Mind you these are the only 2 machines like it.what is going on with this club? Crunch is beginning to beckon me. I have been a loyal member of planet fitness since 2005 . I go to the pf gym in wappingers falls ny when I go up there and it’s much better there.

Really nice gym overall. Have been coming here on and off for over the last few years. I love the space it has. The equipment is always ready to use and if it’s not the wait isn’t long. I enjoy the variety the gym offers from the treadmill, free weights and cables. Weights are usually always put back which is a plus. Bathrooms are always clean and ready for use. I love how the gym has the sanitation stations setup around the equipment makes for a much more cleaner feeling workout. The only thing that would make this a five star rating would be with the gym having a sauna, swimming pool or hot tub !

Mostly the staff is very welcoming, Eric has been a great sports to me and my friend when we attend the gym. He greet us very respectfully making sure we are at ease, creating a safe environment for us woman around him. We really like it there; whereas other other PF facilities might not show attentiveness, personified treatment and care, where safe environment is the the key. We do feel different about PF at town centers. It’s our happy place. 😊

I really enjoy the vibe, the ppl and cleanliness of this gym,the locker area and showers are well kept. I do wish they had a scale and a sauna! There is a little shop called fruits from heaven a few doors down if you into a protein shake for you pre or post work outs that is really good! Definitely should give it a try!

Overall a good experience. Being a personal trainer and lifelong fitness enthusiasts, PF fits my indoor training needs. Only problem at PSL location, they don't enforce the dropping of weights and members dropping cable plates hard enough to echo throughout the gym. If you're strong enough to pick them up, you should be strong enough to set them down properly.

From all the Planet Fitness, we chose this one to go more often… the employees here are so nice and sweet and that makes a different… we started going to another one and suddenly the staff were very rude and unprofessional….
