I would’ve given the facility a 5 star review, but for one serious flaw. It’s clean, convenient, well maintained, staff are friendly etc. However, the ratio of cardio equipment to strength equipment is waaaay out of balance. Over two thirds of their floor space is devoted to every type of cardio machine imaginable. I have NEVER seen more than 10% of those machines in use at any one time. What I have seen and experienced is a log jam in the tiny area devoted to strength machines. Given that more and more studies are recognizing the importance of strength training in ensuring both quality of life and longevity, and given the underutilization of much of the cardio equipment, wouldn’t it make sense to adjust the ratio of equipment that you have?

Staff has always been kind and locker rooms/bathrooms have always been clean and well stocked. Machines seem well maintained too. Had to only give 3/5 stars for two reasons. My first complaint is that it is uncomfortably cold in there especially first thing in the morning when the sun isnt even up yet and there arent a lot of bodies working out. Also cant stand that two of the televisions in there is constantly playing FOX news and their biased news base having that most hateful words spewed across their screen for the whole gym to see. Absolute brain rot… I wish the manager would just change the channel to something neutral such as Animal Planet or HGTV.

If I could leave 0 stars I would the disrespect and hate I received at this gym left me in disbelief! I am not a regular at Kerry forest but it seemed like my best option…. I regret going to that gym the customer service was awful and I questioned who would hire such a disrespectful individual. The values of this gym have gone downhill. Kassidy was at the front desk and she body shamed me and laughed at me she did not think I heard her but I left as soon as I heard her she seems to judge everyone who walks in I don’t think someone with this hateful mindset should work at such a “welcoming” place.

I've been a member here for just under a year. Nice people and the facility is clean. There are lots of high schoolers in the summer because they get free summer passes. Free weights are decent except for a GIANT tv that distracts you when you are on a bench trying to do a workout. In the 30 minute room they have the aerobics steppers bolted to the floor, but in the main room the smith machines are not bolted to the floor. PF I know you monitor these comments, please fix that.

They have recently changed hours and are not 24 hours. Mon-Fri 5am-9pm. Sat-Sun 7am-7pm. Kind of disappointed in the hour change because I am a late evening workout person and have already gotten cut short once.

Planet Fitness is an amazing gym. It is a no judgment zone and says so on the wall. Everyone is welcome. All ages work out there. The staff is so fun, interesting, professional, kind and helpful. Our particular gym has an upbeat energetic positive atmosphere. There is a wide variety of equipment to meet the needs of all types of people. When I joined, I had to rebuild strength from multiple injuries. We had been working out at home during Covid With, with an entire room of equipment. Planet Fitness has so much better equipment . The gym doesn’t seem to get overcrowded, although there are always people working out. The price is amazing. Planet Fitness helps me manage my pain, which is a big Bonus! They have a Black room that makes my day after a good workout. The aquatic massager is amazing and it helps my muscles recover and bad back feel better. It’s great for Anyone and it does not hurt like massage machines often do. It can be adjusted also. The Red Light room is very good for my skin, when I use it. And the Meditation Pod is a real gift for me, because I actually have time where no one interrupts me.I focus. They also have tanning beds for people that are interested and massage chairs too. Planet Fitness is wonderful and the other people that I’ve met there have been so nice. It’s my happy place. Sometimes,I drag myself in there, but I always walk out feeling like it’s a beautiful day. It really is a game changer.

I need someone from management to please call me ASAP. I have tried for the last 3 months to request you cancel my membership and STOP charging my card. The first time I was told over the phone they'd take care of it. The second time I went there and the manager on duty said " you wont hear from us but it will be refunded to your card by end of next week" Nothing was ever refunded and then today, they charged me again.
Please have someone who can refund me contact me. Thank you.

Top notch location, I switched here from the Appalachee location and haven't looked back. The staff are great. Want to give a shoutout to Evan, he is phenomenal. Knows the names of many regulars and addresses us before we can even scan in. Good me up with the hydromassage as soon as I start walking that way. Excellent experience every time I come.

The first time I went to a PF was to the one over Monroe st. with a friend. I only lasted two days and went back to my old gym after realizing they didn’t have bench presses. After several years this one open up so close to my home, finally. I did not remember that little detail from my last experience about the bench press until I train the first day. This surely is a no no for several people, and surely for me. But so far, there is no affordable options near here. I hope they reconsider introducing them in the near future.

My teen has been working out here since November 2023 and has had a great experience until Kale started working there and started harassing him. I will be cancelling my membership and my sons because of him. If you want to keep people working out at this facility I would get rid of people like Kale as he is running your members away and treating them badly.

I use to love going there for the past 7 months but not anymore. The assistant manager likes to harrass everyone that comes through the door. Sometimes i may get there before my sister who is a guest on my account. He's always asking her am I in there. And im not about to stop my workout just to come meet her at the front. Also , he likes to stand behind the counter and stalks everyone's account after they check in. One night he followed a guy to the floor pad to come back to the counter to talk about his account. One day he told me i couldn't use the club because i had a balance...which ok i get that. But Sir, go find something else around the gym to do like the dust something get a exterminator there for that tick i saw on the bathroom floor a while back. Im mad i deleted the image from my phone (overall the appearance of the gym looks great, but it's dusty) He's annoying. It's already bad enough i signed for a monthly payment for a 24/7 gym and now they're not even 24/7 anymore. Ughh

These stars are definitely not for their customer service, which is extremely JUDGEMENTAL. There is an unsightly blood stain in the bathroom stall that's been sitting there for months! On the good side, there is an awesome young man who works there in the day time with silk hair and glasses he is the reason I come back. Two stars are for him! The third star is for all the nice humans that frequent the gym.

Hello, I just want to clarify that it is a beautiful, spacious and respectable place. But last Tuesday, my girlfriend entered the gym minutes before me (I have the black card and gave her the ticket), but seconds later, they take her off the treadmill to inform her that she must wait for me in front of the gym, I will be honest, in 7 months that I go to the gym, it is the first time that this happens. Since my girlfriend and I always go at different times. The manager on duty, he just told me that the solution was for her to start her own account and I would change my account, it became unprofessional and strange, because the "Staff" is usually kind.

It's not like getting a new credit card - it exposes customers to full-on identity theft. And no, PF is not "special" and exempt from that world despite any shallow promises about information security.

We joined Planet Fitness to be able to use the facility when traveling, this has worked out well until today. The club is clean and nice but the employees were worthless!!! I am rehabbing a knee replacement and need to use the recumbent bike, it was different from any I have used before. It would not accept my programming and kept restarting, it was infuriating. I went and asked the two employees behind the counter to explain what I was doing wrong and their response was we have no idea. I asked for whoever was in charge to come help and the response was there is no one in charge. REALLY!!! What a disgrace, you do not teach your employees how to use the equipment??? Beyond that you hire people who have no personality to deal with your members or respect for a job well done. Shameful!

If I could write a review about Planet Fitness in general, I would. But since this was my last location, it will have to do. I may copy and paste it onto others in town, though, because this is WILD. I was a member in town for almost two years before moving across the country. I ran out of time to cancel my membership before leaving but figured I could do it online, the phone, or worst case, at a location in town.

Nope, nope, and nope.

I called this location- my most recent- and they informed me they couldn't cancel my account- no way, no how- unless I visited my home gym... in TLH... 1,006 miles from my current home. After talking to three people including a supervisor, I was finally given the option to *hand write a letter* to them to request in writing that they cancel my account. Like, they don't have a national database and are one of the most popular gyms? How is this possible.

So me, dumb as hell, wrote this ridiculous three sentence letter and sent it. The following month? There goes another $12.

I was done playing around and called my bank to have them completely block the merchant. The specialist I talked to let out a giant sigh when I told him the situation and said, "you have no idea how often we get calls about PF like this." He said they are very familiar with having to block PF charges and even opening cases to retrieve funds (I got three months worth back.)

I want Planet Fitness to know they will never see another dime from me and I'll be telling this story to literally anyone who will listen. Because I'm petty like that.

Love this place! It's by far my favorite yet and I've been to several. The staff is always friendly, clean, awesome tanning beds, which I'm not gonna lie, the tanning is what I go for, and the showers are nice and hot unlike another Planet Fitness in town that's always cold. This new location is in excellent condition. I've been to quite a few different PF locations and this one actually has a few features I have rarely or never seen that I think are being phased in at some new locations. The relaxation pod is a surprisingly pleasant way to relax. The giant screen on the wall as you come in is visually stunning and fun to look at. In the PF 360 area, I LOVE that they have a monitor beginning a fresh guided workout regularly that you can follow through with in that space. Such a great idea! The facility as a whole is clean, spacious, and well-kept. The only thing I have noticed that needs improvement is the calibration of the leg sleeves in the massage chairs.

Overall, a terrific gym option.
