I walked into the gym as usual going to the locker room to change. But inside of the female bathroom was an old male completely naked! He probably walked in there on accident but it was traumatizing, he literally looked at me with his penis. I told him that it was the girls bathroom he was in, but he just grunted and put in his headphones. Planet fitness needs to do something about this.

When I came to the gym at 530 am on monday the 15th, perusal on monday we get no greeting from the front desk staff. But this time they were looking at an online catalog for slippers, on the biggest screen facing the front door. Its crazy that Cheyenne an assistance manager would do that at the front desk in clear view of customer, with her staff member standing over her shoulder talking to her.
Tuesday, Thursday and friday when I work out at 530, im greeted when I walk in asked how my day is going. What's the point of having two people man the front desk if im not getting the basic formalities of a hello. Me and my 2 friends who come to this gym all work in service, a hello is as basic and uncaring as it gets and they cant even give that.

The gym is much bigger now that they moved and there are a lot of machines. However, most of the time you will wait a long time to use anything. People sit on machines forever or use multiple at once not letting anyone else use one, and the staff doesn’t say anything about it.

I am a member of Planet Fitness in Orlando. I visit many different PF in that area. All of the gyms are clean with very friendly staff members. I visited this club last September while on vacation and it was clean and the front desk was friendly. I am back here on vacation and everything has changed. The equipment is filthy, there is Sand everywhere …sand on the equipment, sand on the dumbbell racks and the floors are dirty. It is obvious they do not clean. I visited this club two days in a row, still filthy on the same machines. The equipment is breaking with loose pads and has missing parts. The seats are worn through and are coming apart. The staff does not greet members as they enter or leave. The only thing that was clean was the restroom.
It’s a shame because this club is quite large inside with a good amount of equipment. It’s very busy with members but the club does not keep up with the amount of traffic daily to keep the facility clean.

I love working out at this gym, especially since they moved to the bigger facility. The staff is wonderful, it’s extremely clean and I love all of the options. My only reason for giving this facility four out of five stars is that in the summer kids come for free. And while I think it’s a wonderful Perk for kids who are off from school, I think it would be better to have a set amount of hours for those highschoolers. Because for those of us who are paying, it takes a lot of time to work out as there are groups of kids congregating on the machines. And I just think it would be more efficient for everybody if you set times for the free memberships. 9-12 for free maybe? With a set time-slot, whatever it would be, the rest of us would know when we could work out more efficiently. I know it’s too late to do it for this summer, but perhaps for next summer you could think about it.

Extremely Disappointed and Concerned for Women’s Safety

My daughter had a disturbing experience at this Planet Fitness location. One of the employees, named Justin, left a machine unattended for over 20 minutes, so my daughter reasonably began using it.

Out of nowhere, Justin returned, cussing loudly and aggressively saying, “Hell naw, I’m going to finish my set.” He yanked off the weights she had added, pointed in her face, and told her to move—still cursing. This is unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional, especially from a staff member.

She reported it to the front desk, and shockingly, the response was that “nothing could be done.” No support, no concern, just brushed off.

This created an extremely unsafe and hostile environment for a young woman working out alone. Planet Fitness promotes a “judgment-free zone,” but this location does not uphold that. Very disappointed and deeply concerned for other female members who may experience the same.

For a gym that just turned one years old you wouldn’t expect half of its machines to be unmaintained and/or broken. Either you’re working on your sets distracted by the screeching noises of the rusty iron or overwhelmed with signs taped on the seats of the machines stating that said machine is temporarily disabled. I swear every week another machine is broken. It’s unfortunate, spending half your workout finding machines that work. Oh well

Been going to this gym for 2 years w no problem till recently when they took my personal belongings n locked them away because they”smelt like weed” when I went to grab my belongings the staff had stole my medical marijauan pen. They had stole my stuff n then confiscated my bag n didn’t even tell me I was so scared someone had actually stole my belongings. It’s 2025 u can’t take a persons belongings because it “smells like weed” this was a complete violation of my privacy . Probably will never return to this location. They let homeless people sit in the gym n shower there but can’t smell like weed that u have a medical card for and the staff steals from customers.

This location is my favorite planet fitness by a long shot. I don't live near this location, but my mom lives in Vero Beach, so I come to this one any time I visit her. Best location for cleanliness, friendliness, and amenities. I'm a black card member purely for the black card spa, so I can't attest to the gym equipment, but from the looks of it, everything always seems to be in working order and clean. The staff has always been so nice and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile. There's one woman whose name I cannot recall, but she's the sweetest and funniest person, and is very knowledgeable. Any question I've ever had, she's had an answer for. The spa side is absolutely amazing, from the tanning beds to the hydromassage loungers and massage chairs. Any tanning bed I've used has been maintained and upgraded, which is a huge plus, especially given that the location nearest to me has very outdated beds. The hydromassage loungers are awesome and always maintained, and the massage chairs here have to be the best ones I've used thus far. I've never seen one bed/booth, lounger, or chair be out of order or broken, which is incredible. Whoever manages this location should be training every other location, and Planet Fitness' everywhere should meet this locations standard. 👏

Great new large facility with new machines and a large space.

While there are plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, stairmills, stationary bikes, etc.), for the number of members and crowd level, the gym is a short on all other equipment including weight lifting machines, cable machines.simple benches, and weights. This is despite the gym having a lot of extra room for added equipment. The gym is also short on fans and clocks to keep you cool and time your exercises.

Overall, still a terrific facility though.

We love planet. Most planet gyms are large and have plenty of room. Some of the smaller ones are too crowded and can be frustrating. I recommend choosing one of the larger gyms as your home gym. When we travel it’s nice to be able to always find a Planet Fitness gym. The staff at our Wesley Chapel Planet Fitness is incredible. We are moving and will miss all of the staff.

I joined Planet in October and its been a great experience for me. Not only am i seeing the results in my body and mind, I have also made some friends there with the staff and fellow members. I have a black card which i highly reccomend. The tanning beds and hydromassage beds are spectacular. I used to work at Planet Fitness so I know how they operate and i appreciate that the staff isnt pushy with memberships. They value attraction rather than promotion. The assistsant manager Cheyenne is a gem and an assett to the company. Her and Jean usually work in the early morning and thats when I go.if i ever have an issue the two of them handle it directly and effectively. I look forward to going to the gym every morning and thats a direct representation of the staff and how they treat their members. Very affordable, very spacious, and they have everything you need to transform your body and mind.

This place is the epitome of all the Planet Fitness gyms. Extremely spacious and very clean. The entire place is very well lit. The best feature is that they actually have the HAMMER STRENGTH Selectorized machine. Thank goodness!! Love working out my chest and back on those machines. They are very rare at any Planet Fitness. If I could give Planet Fitness ZERO stars, I would! They have the audacity to steal money from their customers and then refuse to take any responsibility for their shady practices. They took $110 out of my account for a membership, and on top of that, they hit me with massive late fees! The best part? It wasn’t even my fault—their incompetent system didn’t process the payment correctly, and I’m the one getting penalized for it.

When I called to speak with the manager about this mess, they had the nerve to tell me there was nothing they could do. So basically, I’m out $110 PLUS late fees all because of THEIR faulty system! This place is a complete scam, and their customer service is a joke. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else where they actually care about their customers I’m never coming back

I also wish there was a zero for rating. I've traveled the country as a Black card member by verbally providing my bar code to the front desk in hundreds of PFs. This was literally the ONLY gym that couldn't find me and turned me away. Their unfriendly manner burdening me with "call corperate", get this and do that to compensate for their incompetence was beyond frustrating. However their overall disrespect assuming that I was trying to scam my way in was insulting. One girl, Sharmese admitted she was too tired to deal with it and told me to go to the Port Lucie gym. And she even remembered me from checking in there a year ago! The morning General Manager no less admitted their new system is limited and can't access all members, yet still refused to let me even use the bathroom and sent me to Publix- whose bathrooms were cleaner anyway! Their general member-unfriendliness and disregard for customer service was appalling. I strongly suggest their DM, Erin contacts me.

Thr gym is good but it's more or a hangout place for teenagers. I go to another one which has teenagers but atleast they workout. This one has alot of them and sometimes it's 7 and more around one machine talking. Or yelling. Don't get me wrong it's not all of them but some of them need parental supervision. Then there was a individual who was working out with dumbells and also had his towell on a machine so nobody could use it. I'll br going back to the other planet fitness. The new facility in Vero Beach is fantastic! Plenty of space and equipment. Huge equipment variety. The gym is so impressive, especially for such a reasonable membership cost.

The gym is large allowing the equipment and users to spread out and not be on top of each other which is really nice. There are also a lot of cardio machines so you are not having to wait.
