Been coming to this location for about 5 months
and it’s definitely my favorite in Brevard county however, they do not have enough 45 plates and the heavy machines that take plates is very limited, I maxed out the pin machines and now I will have to graduate to a gym with heavier weights, I love this gym and don’t want to leave, everyone is nice and gym is clean

I went during a low crowd meter time, so its unacceptable for this facility to be extremely dirty during a downtime. Bathroom shower stalls had debris and hair globs, counters weren't wiped, toilet paper on floor and dirty stalls. The gym area had paper towels, various food debris. Serious ick.

The woman at the front counter had a difficult time articulating where the lockers were located.

Planet Fitness is a joke. I was charged a late fee because they had trouble with my card on file. When calling this location and trying to get a refund of the ridiculous $15 late fee I get the runaround. I called 3 times asking to speak to the manager because they say that’s the only person that can help and all 3 times the manager “just left for break and they will have them call me when they return”. Planet fitness is a joke and this location is an even bigger joke.

While on vacation, I visited the West Melbourne Planet Fitness several times. I noticed that out of all the Tv's, all of them had a distinct and one sided political slant. If this is truly a "no judgment zone" , why is there not a more diverse set of viewing options that appeal to everyone?

My sister-in-law and I had a great experience at Planet Fitness today. Jacob and Juan at the front desk were both so welcoming and helpful. They were patient in showing us how to use the Black Card Spa facilities and answered all of our questions with diligence, which made us feel comfortable and valued.

The only small thing I’d mention is that a couple of times we had to wait a moment while they finished chatting before they noticed we needed help. But overall, they were gracious, expeditious, and made our visit a really positive one. We both love utilizing the Black Card Spa, and we really appreciated the way Jacob and Juan represented the gym.

The manager Alexis was no help,when I asked to have a late fee removed because often PF billing will miss the original payment and charge a late fee then magically be able to take the payment. she asked me to send my bank statement which isn’t available until the month ends and not to mention the building leaks water anytime it rains and they put buckets and trash cans down to catch it instead of fixing the issue. Cancelled my membership

Very clean and spacious location. Plenty of equipment in excellent shape (practically still new). The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Judgement free zone indeed. Of course I have to throw in a "gains" pic 😂. On a serious note, this location is a great alternative to the other more popular gyms.

So your exercise/ fitness is on you. But the customer service aspect can make it or break it as well. I have got to say that the entire staff at this location is amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure they answer any question you have. Help guide you on the machines and the spa. And it is ALWAYS CLEAN! Do yourself a favor and
join the New Haven location!!

Leaving the gym one day, I managed to pull off the ultimate act of chaos: I drove off with my purse wide open in the back of my car, launching the entire contents into the middle of the parking lot like a dramatic exit scene.

A woman saw it happen and brought my purse inside — which sounds sweet, until she decided to go full detective and start rummaging through it. Even after staff told her I was a regular and obviously the owner, she still refused to hand it over.

And then came Atlanthys, cool as ever, who stepped in, de-escalated the whole situation, rescued my stuff, and made sure it got back to me in one piece. She didn’t just help — she owned the moment with grace, courage, and zero hesitation.

If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Thank you, Atlanthys — you are that girl. 💁‍♀️✨

I was traveling out of town and tried to use my planet fitness membership that I have had for 11 years and the weekend manager Alyssa C wouldn’t let me in because the account had my daughters picture instead of mine even though I have been paying for the membership for over a decade.
I explained that I had been meaning to change it because my daughter no longer uses it but hadn’t done that yet
Could I do that now?
She says that she couldn’t change it because it was my daughter’s information on the account.
Even though I pay every month for this membership and the annual fees, I could not use it.
She said I would have to close that account and then reopen a new account.
Unfortunately I would have to pay more for my “new” membership
This is not right that someone whose paid faithfully for a membership for 11 years should be denied use of that membership or be forced to pay more.

Back home I may continue to use my local membership because the manager there was very helpful and told me I could come in and use my same membership there, but I don’t recommend anyone use the Planet Fitness in Melbourne, FL at 1555 N West haven Ave. They obviously do not really care about their customers just the money they are making. And the weekend manager Alyssa C was very rude and should not have any job in customer service. I was so disappointed that I was treated so badly after being a patron for so long.

Although it may be a smaller Planet Fitness to the one in Kissimmee, pretty solid gym and staff are great as is the facilities cleanliness. The only thing I would say to do better on would be more frequently cleaning the showers.

I have never in my life been so disrespected. I was just released from Holmes regional medical center after major surgery and I took an Uber to meet a friend of mine who is going to drive me back to her home so she could care for me as I heal. The Uber driver was politely getting my two bags out of his car which were the clear plastic bag given to you by the hospital with your personal items in them. I can only guess you assumed I was just some vagrant. The Uber driver was in helping me get out of the car because I could not stand on my own. She cannot kill him telling me that I could not stay there. The Uber has not even moved yet. Told her of my surgery and I told her I was an Uber and she told me that I was the idiot to Uber to a planet fitness after surgery. Never in my life....

front employees don’t even say hello or don’t even aknowledge you
they keep talking to each other
only after you scan your barcode they briefly check just by throwing quick look at the computer and keep talking to each other

Deplorable! I came here to work out in a clean space and a worker by the name Tristan was very rude to me and refused to clean up! He will not stop harassing women at this gym which is vile! I had an extremely horrible experience with an employee named Tristan. He was incredibly rude from the moment he first interacted with me. I believe he treated me differently and judged me for the way I present myself. This planet fitness is NOT a judgement free zone. The employees here are beyond incompetent and are a complete disgrace to the entire Planet Fitness brand. Do yourself a favor and NEVER come here. The treatment they give customers is disgusting. Beyond this, after all that horrific treatment, when I tried to politely ask to cancel my membership he made it an extremely difficult and frustrating process. Never thought Planet Fitness could sink so low, but with this new location clearly found a way.

Terrible place, by itself. Planet fitness is crap, but this one beats all the others. The employees are rude and unpleasant. I recommend that if you want to go with a friend, you be patient because they always put obstacles in your way even though you pay for the most expensive membership. I don't recommend it at all. I enjoy seeing RJ. He is pleasant, attentive and very caring to the people of the community and Gym. We are always sharing our input in things we recommend to each other. I love hearing his insight of trying things and suggesting them to me. Ashley, thank you for looking into the foam roller situation. I would really appreciate this location to invest in a few rollers for the body.
We make a 20 min commute to this nice gym. It meets our needs! Can you meet ours plz? Malabar location has foam rollers fyi.

The new planet fitness was awesome! The staff was nice and helpful. there is a lot more equipment than the Apollo PF. The locker room was spotless. The only thing I can say that is a con is that the lockers don't have a latch when closing, you need a lock but that's not worth lowering the stars. I really love this place.

So let's get started.! The new gym on New Haven avenue is wonderful and amazing! The people are friendly and very helpful. Now as for the other gym on Apollo avenue in Melbourne. Is the worst gym I've ever been to. The equipment is run down and the first time I went there before the new gym opened I was treated rude, inconsiderate, and made me feel very uncomfortable. When I wanted to use the tanning area the young man at the desk was so rude he told me he just got there I didn't have time for this and walked away from me.I even called the corporate office and never even got a call back after putting in a written formal complaint. Come to find out planet fitness gyms are individually owned. Choose wisely!! Put thumbs up to the new gym on New Haven. Thank you to all the staff there for turning my experience around you all deserve a round of applause.

Terrible general manager. Alexis did not care to answer nor look into one thing my family came in to check out. Have black memberships at another location and my father who has had two full spine surgeries only has it through his insurance and since he just got out of surgery we were eager to switch to one closer to home. Alexis came over as we were speaking to the other young lady and immediately interrupted, I would assume to assert her knowledge. However we were told insurance companies don’t know everything and they tend to say whatever and that they don’t take our insurance that she never even took the time to check which insurance we have. She was rude, dismissive, and just not someone you want having as the face of any storefront location.
