Not all planet fitness are created equal, because the staff here is exceptional in going above and beyond. Not just caring for the facilities but the most important part of the gym, the people. Kaleigh leads a team of dedicated staff that take the time to know many of the people that walk in the front door. It’s a different experience when you walk the door and are greeted by name. Leads on her staff like Kyle work hard to make you feel welcome and understood. Don’t be surprised if you get a friendly smile and fist bump when you walk in.

Terrible customer service. Their manager Ariana Frazier got aggressive when I tried to cancel my membership, refused to assist with canceling my account, and then threatened to have my removed from the building when I insisted the contract allows me to cancel in person.

I had to call corporate and have them make her cancel my membership.

The staff should check the cameras before going to the express area to ask a customer to get up and leave the machine. This happened to me today, and the worker there told me I had to get up. I was explaining to him that I had just sat down, but he didn’t pay attention to what I was saying and still told me I had to get up. Later, he apologized when I stood up, but he never told me I could stay. I ended up leaving because sometimes there are people sitting for a long time, taking their time, and no one says anything to them. I don’t want to mention the name or describe the person because I don’t like to mess with anyone’s job, but they should be more careful.

This Planet Fitness is a bit on the smaller side, and it does get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours. That said, it still gets the job done if you’re patient or go at off-times. The equipment is clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly. It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for a basic gym to stay consistent with your workouts, it works, just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times.

This is the email that I sent to corporate and still haven’t received a response from the head manager Terrance.
I’ve been attending PF since Jan 2025. I have since cancelled my membership due to how rudely I was treated by your staff member Eli. I was never been told by any of the staff (including Eli ) that my daughter can’t sit and wait for me in the lobby while I finish my workout. I am embarrassed by the way Eli called me out in front of everyone tonight! The sarcasm and his lack of care shows poor customer service. When I was trying to explain to him that he never told me, I can’t bring my daughter into the gym. His response was “well there’s a daycare next-door”. I asked him if the daycare is open. He shrugged his shoulders and said he doesn’t know the operating hours.
I have never had somebody treat me so rudely and nonchalantly. Where have you seen a daycare open 8:30 at night? I am appalled, I feel belittled, and I am embarrassed by the overall interaction with your employee. I will be leaving a review for this gym, and I will not bring any further business or any of my friends into this gym.

Let me also add that up until my membership ended on April 16 I’ve been in on 2 occasions and have seen children under the age of 13 sitting in the lobby. I will be following up with a discrimination lawsuit against Planet Fitness. You guys are violating your own rules according to what’s written on your website.

I joined 2 months ago and love it. My trainer is Kabir Rodriguez. He is amazing. He has vast knowledge of nutrition, physiology and has given me great training. He has custom tailored my routines taking my age and ability into consideration and I am so happy with the results 😄 😊 ☺️ 😀

Overall, the gym is OK. I do wish there were changing rooms with the showers but that’s the least of my worries. I've been training there with Kabir for a couple months now, and from day one, he made it clear that this wasn’t just about showing up to the gym — it was about showing up for myself.
I wanted a trainer for motivation and accountability, and he pushes me — hard — but never in a way that feels discouraging. Whether it’s always fitting me in for a session, tracking progress, or checking in on nutrition, he keeps me on track and calls me out (in the best way) when I start slipping.
There are no shortcuts or excuses with him — just focused, personalized guidance that’s helped me get stronger, more confident, and actually excited about reaching my goals. If you’re serious about change and want a trainer who will match your commitment (and then some), I can't recommend him enough. Thank you!

My mother was visiting from Canada. She needed a gym. I called ahead (the morning of) and was told by the manager that they offer a $52 pass for a month. Awesome. Then my parents went in to purchase it and we're told that didn't exist anymore (the afternoon of) and that they needed to singup for a membership. They didn't know how to do that, so I went in with my mother the next morning. We stood at the front desk for over 40min setting up the account. We needed to download an app (wasn't told ahead of time), needed a us bank account and credit card. Fine. Did all that. When the account didn't go through and we were hitting 40min and 4 staff trying to figure all this out and my 72 year old mother clearly fading, I asked "surely you can let her in to start working out and we can figure out the account while she starts" and they said "no way other than to do a free pass"... Ok so she started working out, we figured out the account. After a week of her going, we went in to cancel. 30 minutes to cancel, being told it couldn't go into affect for another month, 4 staff members again working on the project. The staff are friendly, so caring but wow, so so so not equipped to handle situations quickly, efficiently and with ease.

Planet Fitness needs to put timers on the Smith machines and this location is especially true of that. People park on one and don’t leave for usually more than 30 minutes. They also aren’t cool with letting you work in.

There was an unfortunate incident with a planet fitness member who I found especially rude at this location named Terry who worked the shift on 3-21-25 at 12:15am. Can a manger contact me regarding what I consider a very unfortunate and rude altercation I had with this employee? South Dixie Highway Planet Fitness is a great choice for fitness. The equipment is plentiful, the space is clean and tidy. The front desk reception staff are pleasant, polite and helpful. The Black Card membership gives unlimited access to special 'Hydromassage: chairs which are inordinately healthful for blood circulation. In There's also a Red Light therapy booth. Beware it is not safe or clean. There are really sketchy homeless people living in the parking lot and using the bathrooms! Some of the men working out seem really sketchy. The staff at Planet Fitness do not care about anything and they seem to do nothing. The lockers have been broken into even if when they were locked so I stopped using the lockers. When it rains the roof leaks and they leave buckets around the treadmills and weight machines to catch the rain inside.

Been a member year for over a year because it’s the most convenient gym and it’s cheap. I’ve noticed unfairness in rules, I’ll get called out for stuff when others don’t, and they’re doing the exact same thing. Like the rules only apply to some. Also, this bucket you see has been out on and off for idk, at least a few months. I dropped my phone, my fault, but it lands in this bucket. I ask the front desk if there’s a plan to repair this leak bc it’s been months and they had no real answer. Vague and kinda pushed me off like “oh maybe property will fix it, they have but it keeps leaking.” It wasn’t a real answer. Bucket is really stupid and so frequently out and you see members having to navigate around it when it’s busy especially. I guess this is what you get going to a cheap gym.

I smelled something off in the gym it was kinda like a smokey smell. I asked the gentleman sitting in the front to check it out for me and he did nothing. I went up again to askand again nothing. When I was explaining it to him he didn't make eye contact and just said "oh for real?". In my opinion it's simple stuff like this that make companies lose a customer. However, the other lady there I believe her name is Alisha was very responsive and actually did something. So thank you. Y'all should hire more people like her. RUN AWAY! You get what you pay for at this gym. Its general manager is mentally challenged, quite literally, and he doesn't know how to manage a gym, or any other business I might say. He just doesn't get it, and you can't communicate with him because he simply doesn't know how to communicate effectively. Also, homeless people use the locker room regularly, and it takes more than a month to fix equipment, and something is always broken. The inmates are running the asylum at this Planet Fitness. Turn around, and don't look back.

I started going back to Planet Fitness again in ernest about a year ago. I'm very satisfied with the location that I go to in West Palm beach at the Palm Coast Plaza. The staff is all very friendly, everything is clean, and the vast majority of the equipment is in good working order. You really can't ask for more than that in a gym. Highly recommended.

They are having issues elevating to management fixing the sound system. The staff cannot control volume or turn off the stereo going through the gym. So loud it comes through my noise cancelling headphones. This one is on them....the issues with the space (AC and roof leaks) in the past are clearly with the landlord.

There are no hooks to hang your towel or shower supplies in the men's locker room. I made the manager aware A MONTH AGO!! I followed up to make sure a work order was submitted. How long does it take to get a hook from a hardware store and get a screwdriver and fix it?? You need to empower your managers to be able to fix this. I could fix it in an hour. And it's been like this for a month. Take the money that you are saving from not buying us pizza and bagels anymore and fix it!

This is probably the nastiest and dirtiest planet fitness in Palm Beach County! The place needs a serious deep cleaning! A lot of machines are broken. Both hydro massage beds are broken. From Monday to Wednesday theres always a group of kids lolly gagging and old ppl who feel you should get off the machine because they say so! Some machines don’t even count reps. Other machines have wires hanging out of them! This place is just a HOT MESS!

I really like the club. However the showers in the men's locker room were extremely dirty. The disability shower was not working with only small amounts of water coming out. The shower which I used from the other two dirty showers had the same hairball on the floor and other small particles from when I used it two days prior . Quite nasty! WEAR RUBBER SANDALS if you use the shower! One of the urinals was also out of order. And One of the Hydro massage beds was not working.

Otherwise I still like the gym, the staff are new to me, but they are friendly. **Start of original review**I didn't have much to comment about when I first used this location. I use this gym sometimes when I am staying downtown. My more recent visits (last few months), I've enjoyed my visits much more. The staff changed from a year ago and they are so friendly now, smiling and positive. It can be busy, depending on day/time, not too bad. Other members are friendly and courteous. Facility/machines are a bit older (than my home gym #9165) yet clean. Why not five stars? Wish they had a TRX station and a door to the hydromassage beds room (teeny bit awkward lol).

This is now the Third planet fitness that I have been to in less than a week that the ADA Handycapped shower is Not working.
This complaint review will be followed up by planet fitness saying how much planet fitness strives for excellence and how much they care... Obviously Not. This shower just like the others have been broken for over a week. This is a simple NO TOOLS fix that can be done for UNDER $30 in Less than an hour.
That includes driving to and from the store.
Yes Planet Fitness, I did talk to the manager.
Now again in Florida's hot humid weather. I was un able to shower after my workout.
We are sorry is only acceptable if someone tries . Three ADA handycaped showers Not working that have Not been in working order for over a week is not right.
