I feel like Planet Fitness operates in a predatory way. I tried multiple times to cancel my membership, and no one would help me or explain that the cancellation had to be done on the website instead of the app. I paid for over a year without even stepping foot in the gym.

Recently, they pulled $191 from the account that holds my son’s Social Security funds. I explained the situation to several employees and asked for a refund, but no one would help. Yet the moment I asked for my money back, they finally canceled my membership—as if that was a favor.

I’m only asking for the $191 that was taken from my son’s account, not even the full year of unused fees or the overdraft charges this caused. Extremely disappointed with how this company treats people.

Used Planet Fitness for over 3 years, They have 2 payment cards on file. Their "automatic" system charged my account 3 days late so they added a late fee???When it wasn't even my fault it was late. Then they told me I could cancel if have a problem, female manager was so rude literally hung up and told me to cancel membership over it. Fraudulent charges added to my account.

Well, I've been here 4 months and I work out in the mornings.. The place is super clean. I actually found somebody dusting the top of the equipment yesterday and i've seen them move and clean underneath the equipment. There is no better bang for your buck. Furthermore our government should subsidize companies that foster true Healthcare. Healthcare should be proactive. Oh, and by the way kudos to the wonderful staff in the morning that are very friendly and keep this place so clean

Have worked out at at least 5 different PF's & this one in my own town is the most disappointing. Staff turnover seems huge here which is usually a direct reflection of management. The GM at this location acts like a mad teen working a PT job they don't want to be at...unfriendly, speaks to no one & I've always felt unwelcomed or like I'm putting them out when I check-in and especially if they have to stop what they're doing to check me in for a hydro bed. The rest of the staff isn't much better...motivation and personality are hugely lacking. It didn't keep me from working out, though-I don't choose gyms for personality, and you never know what's going on in someone's life that could be the cause of a bad day. But this is more than one staffer having a bad day...it's collectively multiple people not representing PF very well. A lot has gone downhill recently. Not sure what exactly changed at this location, but it's filthy compared to a year ago. Someone was always walking by with the vacuum on their back or filling up spray bottles and now I constantly see trash on the floor of the locker room, bathrooms and main part of the gym, along with empty spray bottles and empty paper towels, no matter what time of day. I wanted to love this place but after 3 years it's time to give my $ & support to a place that appreciates the business.

I am enjoying my experience at Planet Fitness. I joined five months ago and find that there’s always plenty of parking even at their busiest times. The staff is always friendly and greets you when you walk through the door. Planet fitness is always clean and cool. There is plenty of equipment so even if one is in use, there’s not much of a wait. The members are kind and considerate, wiping down the equipment after each use. I opted for the black card membership, which is fabulous. I really enjoy the massage chairs after a long, hard workout.

Awesome place. Very clean. Just wish they better monitored the 30min circuit. Sucks when youre in the middle and can't move forward because someone is sitting on the machine.

Loved this place at first but then when they started the promotion where kids get in free items our lockers would have been gone through. Movey missing and vape that is my RX. They generally make the place absolutely miserable and unusable. I'm not saying to not let kids in maybe just a set time or with a parent. I really don't want to go back this summer.

Walked in today total different guy than normal and he said they had to start the beds and massage beds by manually which they normally don’t have to do that and said first names that were totally not ours. I had to say Mike for it ring a bell in it head to look at the computer and a guy just walked back to the massage chairs and he didn’t have to set it manually. I couldn’t see the name on his name tag. They never have to set the beds manually.

Brand New here and every employee I've spoken to has been so helpful and supportive. Besides using the equipment I've also tried the hydro massage, massage chair, total body enhancement and a fitness class with Mr. Austin and everything has been amazing. Facilities are clean, music is good (ie. appropriate/good volume), temperature is perfect, locker rooms are spacious and well maintained. This place has almost everything you could want and I have never felt uncomfortable or judged at any point since I've signed up

My wife and I would like to spend more time on the trails the next time we vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. We'd maybe even like to tackle a couple of more aggressive trails. We've been a week and a half with no water, no electricity, barely any food and our neighborhood flooded. We came in to get a shower and the young man absolutely insisted (we needed to use the bathroom and just wanted to shower) that we sign in because this wasn't our home gym and we were too exhausted to work out and was kind of rude about it too. Very disappointed, especially after everyone was so nice in Plant City at that Planet Fitness. You don't know what people are going through, just let them shower. Planet Fitness is still advertising they're allowing this so the pushing was uncalled for. None of the staff seemed very friendly. Very sad

The gym has okay equipment. Some machines need to be replaced. Staff is usually not friendly. Bathrooms are sometimes dirty and neglected. Sometimes 1/3 of TVs don't work. Gym closed multiple times without any kind of warning for electrical issues over the past 6 months. Owner needs to upgrade equipment and staff.

No complaints about the actual gym the staff has always been nice and friendly. Although their billing is another issue. Do not give a 2nd form of payment as they will still charge you a late fee, they don't bill the second form till 5 days later. Mine was my bank checking and then the debit card connected to the same account. For some reason it didn't like my bank account number so it waited 5 days then charged my debit card, making my payment late.
They say you get a text stating there's a billing issue, I'm guessing it went to SPAM. So they will only refund me one month of late fees.......complete BS. Why have 2 forms of payment available if you are punished for them using it. I don't give my money to people that don't respect it.

This is the worst gym ever. Save your money and go somewhere else. I cancelled my membership over 3 weeks ago and still got charged the yearly fee and the monthly fee after I was assured this would not happen. This caused my bank to change me with two overdrafts charges. Now the gym owner says they will refund me in 4 weeks. She also said I'm not the only one this is happening too. They have a new system. I tan for way cheaper than anywhere else. The employees are pretty great. *They put up with me. I have 3 planet fitness’s closer or around the same distance away. I still drive to this one. I feel comfortable with this branch. I have gone to workout but not recently. You can’t beat the price. It basically gives you unlimited tanning. Safe workout areas. Many machines and free weights. I dig the 30 minute workout area. No one is ever there and I don’t know why?!!! It helps my ADHD brain accept and stay focused during the workout. I don’t know the names of the employees but they are all amazing(ly) patient. Definitely worth the money and time. Now all I need is a workout partner to keep me motivated. Unlimited hydro massage and massage chairs!!! Red light therapy and hybrid tanning bed.

The total body enhancement was down AGAIN for the 6th time in 2 weeks. I have had 2 skin cancer surgeries and the red light therapy helps my skin and scars. Today I noticed for the first time they have a hybrid in room #4 so I asked about if you could choose only red light therapy without the tanning lights. The guy I spoke to didn’t know so he asked whom I assumed was maybe a manager. This woman has been asked questions in front of me before and she always seems to be either talking to other employees or doing some sort of admin work and only half listens to questions from customers or employees inquiring for customers. When the young man asked her if you could set the machine for only red light therapy and not tanning she said YES. So I signed on for a 9 min therapy and when I looked at the control panel inside the booth it had on 1 button a pic of the sun & on the other button LED. I assumed it wouldn’t be the sun button since no one ever asks if you need to be walked through how to program anything. My bad for not ASKING. When my session was finished and I went back to the front desk I asked to speak to her personally. My skin felt tingly and I wanted to dbl check about which button to program. She then tells me you can’t separate them and it can only be used with both!!!! WTHECK!!!! So I spent 9 minutes tanning which is the absolute worst thing that I could do!!!! I hope this helps someone else that might be in my situation. And shame on that woman for not paying more attention to her customers!!!!!

I frequent the Zephyrhills Planet Fitness. The location is always clean, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I am a Black Card member and have had no problem utilizing the amenities while visiting the gym. This location has a great selection of equipment, plus the 30-minute workout room, a PF 360 workout room, and a stretching and flexibility room. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious.

The Zephyrhills Planet Fitness is excellent. Staff are friendly, the environment is clean. Equipment is managed well, clean and in working order. Great inviting atmosphere. The Black Card lounge is very nice, and it's a great way to finish off a good workout. I rate this location 10/10 and would invite my family and friends to join me to experience it.

Tanning booths don't even give you a tan..been there many times and booths are not hot enough at maximum limit of time allowed to tan you.
