The facility lacks a clear policy regarding time limits on equipment usage, leading to situations where members monopolize machines for extended periods—sometimes over an hour. Requests to share or "work in" are often met with resistance, and unfortunately, staff seem unwilling to intervene or enforce any sense of fairness.

Additionally, the cleanliness of the gym leaves much to be desired. Having just one person tasked with cleaning is insufficient for maintaining a hygienic environment, resulting in the space often feeling neglected and unsanitary.

The equipment is another major concern. Many of the machines are outdated and appear poorly maintained, contributing to discomfort and even joint pain during use. This raises serious questions about safety and the overall quality of the facility.

REPONSE TO OWNER (as he waited for me to post so he could lie)
I find your response to be both dismissive and insulting. I didn’t fabricate anything – the frustration I expressed regarding the Smith machine was valid, and I was well within my rights to ask for assistance after waiting for an extended period. Your employee’s behavior was inappropriate, and the lack of help only made matters worse.

As for the gym equipment, it's not just me mentioning discomfort. The machines are old, worn out, and clearly not well-maintained. Studies and common knowledge show that outdated equipment can exacerbate joint pain and lead to improper form, which can cause injury. It’s not something I’m 'fabricating,' but rather a legitimate concern that any responsible gym should address.

Your refusal to offer a refund despite a valid complaint speaks volumes about how you handle customer service. I don’t appreciate being dismissed or accused of dishonesty, especially when I’m providing honest feedback. I’ll be considering my options moving forward, but don’t expect me to be quiet about the poor experience I've had.

Was happy to find this gym after overpaying at Anatomy for a year for a small, crowded, poorly laid out place that was more of a fashion show than a fitness center. This place is more spacious, rarely crowded, and despite having a few worn out aspects, it’s perfectly functional and feels more like a real gym. I even like how the staff isn’t overly friendly or fake, they’re just helpful. The only thing I can’t stand is the stretching room / classes room. Really wish it had a regular floor instead of astroturf and some real mats instead of the thick, old, square things they provide.

Pretty much everything you don’t want in a gym: extremely rude staff, old or non working equipment that won’t get fixed (at one point the gym was down to only two functional treadmills) , non functional bathrooms with plastic bags over them, leaking ceiling, and more than once the air conditioner stopped working with weeks until it gets fixed leading to what could be best described as a large indoor sauna according to their staff (as an example the air conditioner has been broken for the last ten days)

I couldn’t find the gym immediately, because Google Maps takes you to the hotel next door, but after walking around a bit, you find it by going up these stairs on the left side of the hotel. This is a cute gym spot. You definitely feel the Miami heat inside, but it makes the workout so much better, if you ask me. They have a good variety of different machines you can use. I was only there for one visit, but will definitely come back again, once I’m in town!

As far as I can tell, this is one of Miami Beach's best kept secrets. It's rarely busy and it's probably the most affordable gym on the beach. Richard, who I think it the owner is also a really nice guy. Note on the door this morning that they are temporarily shut down due to funding. I just prepaid for a 3 month membership for my wife and I. So frustrating. I cannot get ahold of them at all for a refund. Apparently they are having issues with the funds they were receiving from the Mirador HOA. I hope they get this sorted out and extend my membership now, or refund my money.

UPDATE: They just relied to this comment to tell me the gym has been open all week. How exactly would I know this? So now your telling me, to make matters worse, I have unnecessarily missed another 5 days of working out, (which you were actually open), when I just made a huge commitment to get back in shape. I started going there two weeks ago and I am actually pretty happy with it. It's a small gym but has everything you need to get a work out on.

The gym is kept very clean and there is no weights laying around since everyone takes care of it and helps keeping it clean. The staff constantly walks around and picks up stuff and is very helpful when you need something.

My biggest excitement tho was when I walked into the women's bathroom and saw the sauna in there. It's awesome. Since the gym is not crazy packed it's almost like you got a private sauna.

Sometimes it gets a little crowded since they got a bunch of trainers and training sessions going on. Which also forces you to switch what you wanted to work out next. But I think that's the less of evils.

The pricing is kind of cheap for south beach since south beach is a place where you easily can pay 350$ a month for a gym membership. I paid 3 months in advance and got a discount since they had a promo going on. So I ended up paying 80$ a month. So all in all, if you need a gym to work out in and don't wanna deal with a bunch of people this one is a pretty good option. And I mean don't forget that you can watch the trainers and do the work outs as well. (Wink)

The reason why I only give 4 stars tho is because it can get tricky to get into the building in the mornings since the doors are locked and the security guys tell you to use your resident chip. So that would need to get fixed for outsiders.

I was here on business, just to disclose and be fair.

The staff at the front desk are bright, cheery, welcoming and helpful ... And even more importantly - smiling!!

The place is clean, airy, lots of tall window light.

Obviously well maintained, continual attention by the staff for cleaning, vacuuming, towels, weights, etc.

View out from the condo property pool across Biscayne Bay is beautiful.
