Jake’s been great to work with! Getting back into the gym felt easy with his help. He’s always sharing useful tips, which keeps things interesting and makes the sessions fly by. I’m recovering from knee pain after a tear and surgery some time ago, and although I haven’t been able to squat for a while, he’s been pushing me safely. I have been working with Jake for over a month now and I have to say from an ex trainer’s perspective I haven’t seen someone push me like this in a long time. I also have many injuries from my industry and career, he has been extremely supportive and patient where many of my previous trainers have worsened or reinjured me and neglected my pain level. Had to hop on here and write a review for Jake. After relocating, I was looking for a trainer that I could share my goals and past with in order to come up with a plan to build more muscle that would work with my active lifestyle.
In the past I explained to Jake I had reached out to other trainers but felt they just sent me on my way after receiving payments, but I wanted one that was more involved. Jake has been exactly that. Aside from being a good friend since I relocated to soflo, he is an approachable, friendly, out going guy who wants to create a plan that works for you specifically. He doesn’t consider himself successful until he feels you are happy with your progress.
I have appreciated my custom plan Jake has taken the time to create and followed up with me to make sure I like/am comfortable with. Would definitely recommend Rath Athletics if you’re looking for a great experience from initial meeting to working out and making progress!
