I’ve been a paying gym member for decades, so I’m no stranger to how memberships work. RAW Fitness does have great equipment, a fit and focused membership base, and plenty of machines (rarely any waiting). When I joined in August 2024, I had no intention of leaving.

However, life circumstances required me to move to West Palm Beach in January 2025 where there is no RAW Fitness location. When I called to cancel, I could cancel but would be charged the remaining months of my contract. There was no option to pay a cancellation fee. I was told I could pay the contract out in a lump sum or continue to pay monthly until the contract expired. I ended up paying$75/month, totaling $600 for a service I can’t even use.

On top of that, I was double billed in August because my contract ended on the 29th, and I was charged an “annual fee” ($75.00) just before the contract expired. This fee was never disclosed upfront and makes no logical sense.

For perspective, I now pay just over double at my current gym, but I receive far more value: spa access, group classes, sauna, cold plunge, extended hours (4:00 AM–Midnight), abundant equipment, premium locker rooms with towels, roof top pool and amenities—and most importantly, no contract.

To date, I’ve paid RAW Fitness for the last 8 months $675 for nothing. When I called to explain my situation, the receptionist showed no consideration and no willingness to work with me. when I asked to speak with a manager they told me again no consideration would be given.

As someone planning to buy a home in the St. Lucie area, I can confidently say I will not be returning to RAW Fitness. Very disappointed in this experience.

The day I wrote this review Mario I believe his name called from Management. What I was told was mind blowing. I was told that all the information I received regarding cancellation was incorrect. I could have submitted my cancellation and pay a fee substantially lower than the $675 I paid to finish out my contract. Mario offered me a free guest pass for my inconvenience but declined reimbursement for the fees paid to date despite me not visiting the gym in months. I declined and requested a higher level of management call me. I am still waiting on this call. No refund was provided.

I love this gym. I just signed up about a week ago. I couldn't deal with the crowds over at the new EoS in Tradition, because they oversold their memberships and you literally can't find a machine to use at times. RAW is everything I want in a gym. It's peaceful, the people there are more respectful and focused, and there are so many machines with such variety, that you'll never find yourself unable to get a good workout. I also think the dark, industrial aesthetic is very cool. It's more expensive than other gyms in the area, but it's worth paying for the peace of mind knowing that I don't have to fight crowds, gym is clean and the plates are put away.

I brought my brother one night on a day pass that cost 40 dollars. There arent many discounts, and the day pass is expensive. Upon thinking more about it, I think it's a good thing. It keeps out people who aren't serious enough to pay 90 dollars a month. If your health isn't worth 90 dollars, then go battle with a bunch of kids over a pec deck at EoS or planet fitness.

Best gym in PSL no question. Great aesthetic, ton of new equipment with unique pieces too & cleanest gym I’ve ever been too. The cleaning staff cleans so much it looks like they’re cleaning things that already look clean. Meanwhile LA’s cleaning staff will walk by the same muscle milk on the floor for 2 weeks. The equipment here is thoughtfully chosen, well-maintained, and a noticeable step up from what I’ve experienced at other gyms. It really makes workouts more effective and enjoyable. My wife visited RAW Port St. Lucie today with the intention of purchasing a couples membership. Despite expressing genuine interest, she was told that trial days are only offered at unspecified times during the month. She would have worked out today and signed today. This lack of clarity and flexibility was surprising—particularly compared to the standard transparency and professionalism we’ve experienced at high-end gyms in New York City. First impressions matter, and this one left us with enough hesitation to walk away. Stay away from this amateur gym that thinks they’re “all that”

Training at RAW Athletic Club was an amazing experience.

When I walked in, I was amazed by the size of the place. With 19,000 square feet for bodybuilding, it felt like a fitness paradise. The gym has over 150 top-quality machines for all kinds of workouts, from heavy lifting to cardio. It felt like the Disneyland of bodybuilding.

RAW lives and breathes the "grit and grind" culture, with everyone showing strong dedication. The gym is well-organized, with different areas for different types of training. After a tough workout, it was nice to relax with a smoothie in the nutrition lounge, offering healthy options for muscle recovery.

The vibe of the place is truly motivating. The staff is always there to help, and the energy makes you want to give your best, just like Chris Bumstead’s philosophy.

I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

I will give a single star because they simply have a person with a pitbull dog walking all over the gym and it causes fear both to me and to other friends of mine, I don't feel comfortable at all with that situation, they should have a leash to tie the dog, so that he doesn't walk loose since on one occasion he approached me and it was not pleasant at all, I almost fainted from fear and its owner did nothing about it, animals have instincts and one does not know how they will react with unknown people, I ask please that if you could do something about it since I can't concentrate because the dog is always obstructing my routine in the gym

I love the gym, one of the best gyms Ive trained at. It is a bodybuilders dream, Torture, New Tech, Prime and Atlantis, Free weights and Machines galore. I just joined as I had trained there a few months ago when we were house shopping. I was disappointed then because you only get one guest pass, but now since moving into the area, I joined and holy smokes that and her sister gym in Stuart formerly known as Revival are two of the best gyms in tbe country.

UPDATE: their lockers SUCK. i am quitting my membership right now because their lockers are so awful. i had my things stuck in a locker because they decided to cheap out and i had to remove the battery from one locker to mine to be able to open it. the wood is so cheap and so are their “electronic” locks. they also don’t have any bands or other type of equipment around.

kind of ridiculous how you need to add an extra $30 for a sauna room when you’re already paying $100 a month just to be in the gym. fitness n go down the street includes sauna and recovery room to your membership for just $50 a month. i could go to LA for cheaper and get a sauna included. their equipment is nice and very modern, some i haven’t seen before. and i’ve been lifting for years. it’s a very cool ambiance. doesn’t get packed during peak hours and is always clean. that’s definitely a plus compared to other gyms. but the prices are ridiculous and not worth the hype

Ill give it a 4 for a couple ressons… Gym is absolutely amazing and super clean and the equipment is awesome, cant really complain about any of that. 1 star off because firstly $40 for a guest pass when the monrhlt membership is about $90, thats aboslute highway robbery, I dont get the gatekeeping, I would have done the second day to also do an upper day and try out those machines too as I only got to try some of the machines for legs(quad biased day) $20 seems a bit more fair to me. Second would be that the saunas and cold plunges are not ready yet

INSANELY IMPRESSIVE MACHINERY!!! Wow, I genuinely could not believe the variety and rarity of the equipment they have in this gym, it is quite incredible. I have been to many bodybuilding gyms across the country and this one I think may take the cake. I made the drive from Boca to finally check it out. It was a little tricky to find, it is definitely tucked away. $40 for a guest pass, which is pretty steep, but I get wanting to keep the place exclusive and I didn't really mind paying the price because I wanted to experience the gym. They only do guest passes on certain weekends of the month so definitely call ahead before you make the trip! In my opinion it was worth the drive, worth the price, and I'll definitely be back for another lift! Lighting is incredible in this gym too. Locker rooms are huge; fully equipped showers w/ shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.

While this gym is undoubtedly one of the best in its class, I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. After signing up, I was informed that they couldn’t apply a military/veteran discount to my membership, despite me having presented my military ID. When I raised the issue with the front desk clerk, she responded rudely and flatly refused. Updating my review. I have been a member for about two months now and I have seen a great improvement in customer service at the Raw Club. Not sure if the staff was trained again etc. but I must admit that it’s friendlier and more knowledgeable. It is so wonderful to see that. This makes my visits far more enjoyable. First-Time Experience: Impressed and Excited!
I recently visited Raw Athletic club for the first time, and I must say, I was really impressed.
From the moment | walked in, I was greeted with a friendly atmosphere and staff who were eager to help me get started. They gave me a tour of the facility, explained all the equipment.
The space is clean, modern, and well-organized. I was particularly impressed by the variety of machines and free weights available-it didn't feel crowded, and I never had to wait long for equipment.
As a first-timer, I was a bit nervous about working out around more experienced gym-goers, but everyone seemed focused on their own workouts, and there was no judgment.
Overall I enjoyed my experience, I definitely recommend it!

1. Read other reviews before you waste a trip.

2. If they don’t wanna do day passes that’s cool. At least be transparent enough to advertise that, or train the team so people give the same information.

3. Employees give mixed information and look at the reviews. So many frustrated to drive all the way, invest time and effort, and the. Got sent back home, kick rocks attitude by the employees, what? That’s crazy. Lack of training, maybe?

4. Maybe it’s time to review “odd” policies, isn’t it? Or, allow the people to know stuff beforehand instead of just being mistreated by the employees?

5. Why not allow people to try the gym in the first place? At least all the biggest nationwide gym brands I know do that. Maybe I thought the purpose of a business was to attract customers, not to expel them.

Very nice Gym , big and has a lot of new equipment. The only reason I’m giving 3 starts is because the music sucksss is the same hip hop shot every day in a loop. I don’t have nothing against hip hop music but you can play different types of music like house music, rock, pop etc for different types of people not everyone like that type of music . if I leave my headphones at home my workout is a nightmare and I’m not exaggerating I’m just been honest. I go to Revive too when I’m in Stuart doing stuff on those guys over there they play nice music and they mixed all types of genres.

Title: Great Gym, But Locker Room Needs Attention and Management Needs to Step Up!

I've been a member of Raw Gym since day one - literally. I signed up before the gym even opened, excited to be a part of a new fitness community. Overall, I'm really impressed with the facility. The equipment is top-notch, and the variety of machines and free weights is excellent. The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere for working out.

However, I have to deduct stars because of the ongoing issue with the lockers. It's been months since they started renovating, but unfortunately, they're still unfinished. As someone who uses the gym regularly, it's frustrating to not have access to proper lockers to put my things up and be able to lock the locker.

What's even more disappointing is the lack of response from management. I've brought this up multiple times at the front desk with Natasha and I’ve even called the manager directly, but I've yet to receive a response or any update on when the locker rooms will be completed. It feels like my concerns do not matter yet I’m paying for a membership and don’t even have the bare necessities , which is really frustrating.

I hope Raw Gym takes customer feedback seriously and addresses this issue soon. Until then, I would caution potential members to be aware of the locker room situation and the lack of communication from management.

Love the gym and the equipment. Staff have all been friendly and awesome to deal with. Great protein bar on site. I see alot of complaints about day passes but I love the fact that members aren't fighting through crowds of day passers to use the equipment. People are there to train and move so very few bench warmers there.

For the price of the membership it has far fewer price included amenities such as saunas or infrared saunas, massage chairs etc compared to many commercial gyms. I can definitely understand paying extra for a cold plunge when it becomes available. Music is horrible. Mostly hard-core rap so constantly hearing N***** this and P**** that gets really old. (Headphones are a must but hard to coach with those on) A rag and cleaning spray service would be alot better than the little wipes but that's just a preference.

We drove 12 hours to come to the gym and on the website and google there is nothing about having to live 15 miles away or needing to be with a member. I get not wanting a huge crowd to come but at least make the day passes expensive but not offering them is just ridiculous and not advertising that. And then staff making it even worse. I bet if we were famous they would’ve let us walk through. Also after his horrible attitude the guy at the desk says “I’ve had people fly in, I have to send them all to our other gym, it’s only 40 minutes away” Just bull

By far the best gym I’ve ever trained at. As a competitive bodybuilder they have every piece of equipment I could want to train with and the fact I don’t have to fight with dozens of other people means I can keep my intensity up and train the way I want. TDLR; if you live outside the gyms radius, you can't try out the gym, you'll get multiple responses from different employees about day passes, day passes just feel like a myth, tour and promotion pass might end up having to pay anyways or not being able to buy the pass because you don't live around the gym.

I don't really know what to start with this, I'll say if you are wondering about the gym and you live outside the gyms home town (PSL) I think this review will be valuable to you.

I'll start by saying I don't have a membership but I do go to the sibling gym Revive and live in Marti County. I've visited the gym twice here because I have friends reccomending me to try it out and sign up. Here's how the first visit goes.

I brought my sister with me because my friend told they do day passes and it would be around 40 dollars for the day, kind of an ouch but if I liked the gym which I think I would have just signed up, but told by the front clerk that they don't do day passes and it's membership only, another review I saw said they experienced the same thing, odd but whatever rules are rules and I'm not one to argue.

Few weeks later my friend still thinks I should go and calls in ask about why he was able to get a day pass for his other friend but not me, they answered and didn't a complete answer, but they have a promotion going around through internet ads where you can get a day pass by promotion for free and you set up a schedule to do a tour with the day pass as well, he sends us the link and I'm set up for a free day pass as per the ad says and I'm scheduled for 4pm. (SS provided)

I arrive on time, mind you I live 40 minutes away cause I'm in martin county and my gym tour advisor is supposed to be Steven, im told to wait for a bit, and instead the girl at the front desk is going to provide the tour instead, no issue she shows me the gym, where everything is located etc, it looks great and machines looked amazing I won't deny that, after the tour I'm kind of standing there awkwardly because I get the sense that I'm supposed to just leave after the tour which is odd because I was offered the day pass for the promotion.

So I asked just to be clear and assured "can I work out here for the day?" And here's where it gets really muddy (especially if you live outside the hometown of the gym) earlier it was said to me and my sister they do not do day passes , but now after my tour with my supposed "free" day pass she replies with "where do you live?" And I reply with "martin county" and then proceeds to tell me that only sell the day passes to people within a 15 mile radius. So they do apparently sell day passes, but you can't purchase one unless you live near by, so even in the end with my scheduled tour and day pass, I wasnt even ALLOWED to buy a day pass and just drove 40 minutes to look at the gym essentially.

All in all I don't understand why the gym is so hard to try out , I feel like they're gatekeeping who can try out the gym and basically just forcing people to sign up or not experience the gym at all. All I wanna do is just before deciding to pay for the gym is to try out the machines and amenities there, but that just seems so unfeasible for some reason and even with a tour and promotion pass , my time is just wasted and I have to drive back to martin county to get my workout in.

So I'll leave this as it is, beware if you come across the free day pass ad and schedule an appointment, you either might end up paying for one anyways or just wasting your time. If you're coming from outside the hometown , you're better off not checking out the place because they're inconsistent with their rules on outside visitors.

The equipment did look nice and the place it's self was nice, clean? eh, my tour guide was literally putting bars people left on the ground and the plates for free weights were a bit scattered as well (I saw because I asked about the mats for deadlifting) which for a gym where the membership is a 100 dollars a month you'd think the the members would be cleaner at least.

For all tourist travelers visiting the area you are not allowed to visit the gym because you are not a member you must know someone who has a membership so then you can go as a guest paying 38$ if you coming from another country and you are not a big name bodybuilder you are not welcome ! What a discrimination against tourists and non American citizens or non residents. More concerned that the founders of the company are from Canada and every else than Florida.

Gym is very spacious. Everything is clean and organized. Just wish the sauna, cold plunge and turf were available. Everyone seems to give a different answer. Overall if all these amenities were available it would be a 10 star gym. Perfection! I guess we shall wait and see.

I'm hoping I'll be able to update my review to 5 stars in the future, but for now, I feel like 4 stars is pretty accurate.

The first women's locker room (when you walk in and take a right), I feel like the exit on the other side is hard to tell that it goes into the men's locker room. If you don't take the right out and keep going straight, you'll walk straight into the men's locker room. I mistakenly walked into the men's locker room, and literally a few minutes later saw another girl do that same. A simple subtle sign would be an easy fix.

To clean your equipment, they have cleaning wipes in containers. The containers are kind of randomly everywhere on the floor though so you'll have to try to find one since people sometimes take them with them and leave them wherever. Designated spots would be nice.

The free weights, the racks aren't labeled. The lower weights are usually on one side and it gradually goes up in most gyms. The weights here were a bit scattered to where there were 30 and under weights on the left. Then a few more random 30 and under in the center and on the right. I'm assuming people kind of just put weights wherever when they're done since the racks aren't labeled. It gets a bit annoying to try and find yours.

No full length mirrors in the locker rooms. If I wanted to shower and get ready in the locker room, there's only the mirrors by the sink. I'm short, I can barely see my face let alone my body in those.

Some cardio equipment by the turf would be nice.

The guest past is $39 PER guest PER visit. That is absolutely ridiculous. At $95 (after tax) per month, charging $39 for a guest just seems outrageous. And that's just for one visit. If I had a guest here for the weekend, they're paying almost the same cost as a full membership (minus the sign-up fee).

Now for the good stuff.

There's a lot of awesome new equipment. Some that I've never even seen before.

The locker rooms and showers are large, nice and clean.

There's a lounge area when you first walk in. That's nice for those who need to step to the side and talk.

Was hoping there'd be a sauna like Revive...but eh, can't have it all.

People here take their fitness seriously. It's nice to go to a gym where people aren't constantly on their phones or hogging up machines.

I've gone to several gyms throughout the last 15+ years of working out. Raw Athletic Club is a definitely a gym for more experienced athletes/people who have been working out for some time. Yes, all those things are small, but could definitely help improve the gym.

First! Got to train here for the grand opening. Loved it. Hit some back , quick biceps. The place is pretty big. Unbelievable atmosphere. Unique pieces of equipment from PRIME MUSCLE located in Canada, etc. the dumbbell felt so good. Normal 30lbs dumbbells would be fat. The weights at this gym feel great in the hands. For me , a 2 1/2hour drive isn’t bad. If they had a position open, I’d move from Tampa and work there. Train there. Pricing currently isn’t too bad if you’re in the area, so I’d say YES, do it.
