I have nothing but positive and amazing things to say about this gym! My daughter loves her instructors and her friends. She’s tried t-ball and dance, though she went, it was simply not her thing. But this most certainly is! She’s 5 years old and her listening skills have even improved at home. They have taught her self defense skills, the importance of not talking to strangers, self-control, and her confidence has skyrocketed and her teacher at school has noticed as well. They also stress how it’s important to listen to their adults. She loves going to class and loves her instructors. She’s thriving and happy!

We started with this dojo after a poor experience at a different martial arts school. I cannot tell you the night and day difference we have had in the last six months. I am a school teacher, and my daughter has been a student at Rocket Taekwondo for about 4 years now since the age of 7; but, between having been watching her classes and bits of various classes before and after, I have seen the way individual instructors interact with kids from 5 year olds all the way through high school. I have to say that observing the way the instructors across the board at Rocket Taekwondo interact with with individual students over the past several years has been a great experience. They do a great job of meeting students at their levels and encouraging their strengths while challenging them to achieve more. I believe it's a great place for helping your child challenge themselves to find their own inner strength.

The Penton's have mastered the art of effectively instructing their students and empowering them with the confidence to continue to personally grow. Our daughter tried all the usual sports and, while she enjoyed them, they never held her attention beyond the end of the season.
