TERRIBLE EXPERIENCIA!! Lo que parecia un sitio para aprender a bailar salsa en un ambiente profesional y de respeto; se convierte en una de las peores experiencias que me ha tocado vivir como cliente, todo por culpa de un instructor de baile venezolano, llamado EYMAR.
Resulta que, en medio de una clase se dirije a mi en voz alta, de manera repentina y sin yo saber por que razon, y delante de todo el grupo en tono de burla, me dice: " No te dejes intimidar por las mujeres", "Tu como que no sabes controlar a las mujeres..." Yo en mi asombro, detengo mi movimiento de baile: y lo escucho decirme: "Mirala a ella en la cara (a mi companera de baile) y dile: Aqui el hombre soy yo, y yo soy el que mando, porque yo soy el hombre"... Ante mi asombro, por no entender que pasaba y lleno de verguenza con la dama con la que estaba bailando, me pide que le repita a ella, eso mismo que el acababa de decir... para terminar con una risa burlona delante del grupo entero diciendo: Dicelo mas duro en la cara, para que te respeten, por eso es que estas intimidado...
La situacion no se quedo alli, este instructor siguio con su falta de respeto y sus burlas hacia mi, delante del grupo...
Me gustaria tener la posibilidad de conversar con un manager, o alguien que este a cargo de manejar este tipo de situaciones, porque definitivamente una persona tan atrevida, grosera y mal educada no puede seguir conduciendo un grupo de gente que va a aprender a bailar, a divertirse y a pasar un rato agradable.
Repito: No recuerdo haber tenido en mi vida, una experiencia tan vergonzosa como esta

I work from home and wanted a reason to get out and be more social. This is exactly what I needed and I highly recommend it. I’m completely new to salsa and never felt out of place, even being black while trying this.

They start with a warm up consisting of some basic steps, simple maneuvers, and some advanced moves that are meant to mess us up and lighten the mood.

After a short warm up, they separate us into our classes. You get a chance to partner with different people as class goes on and pairs rotate. All this while you cover basic steps and add on to them as you go. By the end of class, you have a list of moves you are ready to practice at home to help before the next class and feel less awkward. Because it will feel awkward at first (like learning to pat your head while rubbing your stomach) but the environment has been welcoming to me.

They also host a series of “social” events to practice even more. I haven’t attended one yet but look forward to taking full advantage of what this studio offers.

I started my dancing journey thinking that it was going to take a long time to actually learn the steps properly but Salsa Heat has eliminated that thought in such a short time. All of the instructors at this dance studio Jeremias, Jonathan, Erica, Eymar and Sammy are very detailed and professional at teaching both Salsa and Bachata. I started out knowing nothing and the instructors are very understanding. They will make sure to that you understand the lesson. I was really nervous due to stage fright but as you learn and grow, it gets better and you start to focus more on the music and dancing. I've always wanted to learn how to dance Salsa, but never knew about taking lessons (silly I know) but back in August of 2023 I decided to start taking lessons after a good friend from work invited me to a local Salsa social in East Orlando. To say that I found what I have been yearning for would be a major understatement. With a great Groupon deal I purchased my first 10 classes. And I've been loving it ever since. I've learned so much in just a few months. And I've wielded my new dancing prowess at the many local Salsa socials in the central Florida Orlando area. All the instructors especially Ivan, Linda, Erica and Eymar are VERY knowledgeable and patient. I now have a whole new Salsa family that I love and cherish. Thank you Salsa Heat. I strongly recommend EVERY one take Salsa lessons and Salsa Heat is a great studio to take them at.

I love Salsa Heat! I started attending in 2021 and the people that I have met and the unity of friends I have established is amazing. It has become my peace and my workout!

The instructors are amazing at all levels. The intructors that I have worked with personally and love and cannot give enough praise to are, Erica, Eymar, Ivan, Linda, Sammy, Brenda and Jeremiah. It's always fun and you learn so much!

If you are thinking of starting lessons but are not sure or feel weird because you may not have a partner,,,STOP THINKING AND JUST GO! that's what I did and I have not looked back. Yo soy Colombiana y bailo muy bien salsa , estuve en el swing latino en Cali Colombia, y para introducir a mi hijo en el baile lo llevé a clases de principiantes en Kissimmee para que estuviera con otros principiantes, cuando llegamos el profesor era venezolano demasiado arrogante y grosero, me acuerdo que le estaba diciendo algo a mi hijo y me dice aquí el profesor soy yo, entonces para que estás aquí, me aguante su falta de respeto para no dañarle la clase a mi hijo, luego mientras bailábamos me quedé yo sin pareja y me dice es que te creees mucho, ahí si le dije delante de todos que nunca más volvería a una clase con él, la verdad no puedo creer que los dueños de Salsa hit tengan personas tan irrespetuosas cómo él. Tú no puedes pelear con los clientes, ellos pagan tu sueldo. NUNCA MÁS VOLVERÉ a ese lugar , a diferencia de los profesores del Colonial Dr que son super respetuosos con sus clientes. Un hombre así en el swing latino ya lo hubieran puesto de patitas en la calle.

I have been able to learn so much in a short amount of time. The instructors love what they do and it shows because they are so energetic and love to teach. They set such a fun atmosphere to learn that I'm so excited to go every week. I am also impressed with how much they prioritize you learning to dance excellently over just getting through a class. This place should be down . They don’t have many Instructors nor people to dance . Dancing studio is ghetto the people as well , they think they’re ahead of anyone when you’re not . They don’t really explain what you have to pay . You can’t even call this place they don’t pick up , not even fast food joints have this bad of attention . They should really improve the place . Pretty pretentious environment. People seemed like pretty average dancers. They should include in their website that someone will be turned away if they don’t literally dance the exact way they do. It says “recommended” to start at basic because of the way they teach. Nothing says you will be turned away. Waste of time. Everyone dances super basic there and they turned me away because of the names of dances. I even tried calling ahead of time for more details and no one answered. Wouldn’t waste your time unless you’re in their clique. At least that’s how it seems.

The atmosphere is awesome. The classes offered are taught by men and women who really enjoy their jobs. The studio itself is super versatile. One day you're learning how to Salsa and the next day, you're attending a beautiful wedding or celebrating someone's anniversary. The owners of these locations are truly amazing people too. I have been going to the classes at Salsa Heat for about half a year now and I have learned a lot in that time. Even in the group classes, you get a lot of personal attention as you rotate during practice. They also pay close attention to both leads and follows so that everyone is dancing together correctly. I like that they are stricter and aren't afraid to point out what you're doing wrong. You can tell that they care about your growth as a dancer and any criticism is constructive without being condescending. I would recommend it if you are dedicated and looking to progress in your salsa/bachata.

Our family has LOVED Salsa Heat for the past 18years. This is not only where I learned to dance but also where I met my lovely wife.

I don't think there is anything that I don't like about this place. I'm from NY and just wanted to experience a dance class. when we walked in there was a zumba class going on, I wanted to jump in because they were having so much fun. The Salss instructor was very friendly, patient and paid attention to everyone, if you missed a strp he would correct you. he is very good with instructing, funny and charming. The owner is nice as well and asured us we had no reason to feel intimated. Beginners class was very good. I recommend! !!!

Terrible experience! I tired to go to a weekend class, and I even tried calling before to ask about the call because I had to drive a long way. When I arrived to the salsa studio the class was indefinitely cancelled but this was not mentioned on the website. I was very disappointed in the disorganization.

So, the actual class may have been good, but just make sure you confirm before you attend because they do not follow the schedule on their website.
